You have very limited elementary understanding and appreciation of football.

Youth football is at best indicative of potential but far from conclusive. It says this is place where you can anchor further progression upon.

Nigeria probably has the best record at U17 football in the World or very close to it.

Why are we not world Cup winners and have world class playershuh ❓ Because our dominance at youth level should by your rational transfer to the Senior game. But we are VERY FAR OFF.

In 2009 we hosted the World U17 cup we came second our players were outstanding. But where are all of them nowhuh ❓ Emma Sanni best player in the tournament, where is hehuh Borja top goal scorer, plays in the mediocrity of the Segunda División with Huesca.

However, Brazil that did not go anywhere in the tournament has three players who are truly either the best in the world or very close to it. Just to mention a few.

Namely. Allison - Liverpool goalkeeper
Coutinho - No introduction required
Neymar - ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Now maybe your mind will not just explode but also implode as you consider the folly of your irrational misguided inferences.

I could add look at Solanke outstanding at U21 level golden boot winner. U21 is more realistic of quality and potential than U17. But he could not transfer that dominance to the Senior game.

After £20 million pound transfer he is more or less a complete flop.

Osimhen has gone to Napoli for a world class fee a fee that is higher than the fee for Lukaku a truly a WORLD CLASS PLAYER arguably one of the best strikers in the World.

Thats a huge responsibility to live up too for a player who has not completed two seasons of first team football before his transfer and predominantly in lower leagues. There should be cautious optimism not euphoric hype and over expectations he is far from world class.
The 2009 u17 produced

1 ogenyi onazi
2 olanrewaju kayode
3 Ajagun
4 Ramon Azeez
5 Keneth Omeruo

At least these players are decent even though not world class. Only onazi came close to world class when he was in italy.
You are right anyway. We have to learn to convert our success in youth football into producing world class players.

That our AFCON game against South Africa was a typical Ahmed Musa performance... He totally destroyed the South African right back (Mhikize or whatever grin) with his pace and dribbles..but whenever he got into South Africa's box,he got confused...

He will be around the team for much longer,I'm certain of that....
Just 12 more games to become our all time appearance leader..
Musa was badly coached when he was a teenager. I suspect most (not all) Nigerian coaches lack adequate knowledge of football and it shows in the talented but raw players they produce

It is not only nigerian footballers that have to go abroad but NIGERIAN COACHES HAVE TO GO TO EUROPE OR GET EXPOSED TO HAVE THEIR KNOWLEDGE UPDATED.
i even think exposing Nigerian coaches will be better. One good coach can priduce 30 good players. Its something that has to be taken seriously.

The guy complained about playing LB for arsenal and even delayed signing contract extension because of the LB situation. I think England are short of quality LBs, he may think he has a chance there.
arsenal may just use this situation to convert him to a full LB playing backup to Tierney as it seems arsenal want to get Reed of Kolisinac.
That isvwhy being in a big team when you are very young may not be the best. If he was in an average team he willl be their main attacker and not have to change position. It may sound somehow but its true but then every youngster wants to play for the big teams

Also, when they sell hom they will make a tidy profit. Generally, i wonder why teams are not considering him

The issue is that that generation played football with so much finese that its difficult to forget them. Even if they lost they were still impressive. Up till now i dobt see a Nigerian midfielder that can pass like Oliseh or dribble like Okocha or be as creative as Kanu and its over 20 years

ABOUT THE SUPEREAGLES

1. The best attacking midfielders we have do not play in
the top 5 leagues in Europe
2. We can use players not based in Europe to win things.
3. Algeria (one of the best teams in Africa) uses players based in Saudi Arabia. Baghdad Bounedajh their top striker
plays in Quatar and Algeria is better than us right now.
4. If we have problems getting attacking midfielders we can try Kingsley Sokari and Obinna Nwobodo.
Getting to a top 5 or 10 team in Europe takes time for players from Africa. In fact, Obinna Nwobodo just moved to Turkey
from Hungary.
5. The point is identyifyng a good player and using him. With the passage of time, the player will move to a good club
6. We are not an European country and 100% of our players do not have to be playing in Europe at the same time
7. The over reliance on European based players is funny and whimsical.
8. Players move and change and so we just make use of the best.
9. MOhammed Aboutrika never played in Europe but that does not mean he was not better than one average player in southampton or Torino

Thanks
Thats my opinion

Yet, you are fined or arrested for failure to have that drivers certification.

People spend years to obtain certification so as to become coaches. Yet, you appoint someone with no basic training??

A good experienced player does not make a good coach, either. Those are two different spheres.

Disrespect?? Do you employ people with no qualifications or experience to your jobs??

There are Nigerians who are experienced professionals, but who have also spent years, sweat and money to become certified coaches. You do not receive that knowledge because you played the game.
Maradona was a good player but a bad coach. Coaching and playing are two different things. Some level of certification is needed.
Besides a rookie like Yobo should not handle the Super Eagles. He can start with the junior team or a local club side.

ABOUT OUR NEXT U17 AND U20

All i know is our next set of youth players must go to Red Bull Salzburg. Apart from that they should go to belgium or france. Lommel sk in belgium will also be good for them.
These clubs and leagues are good for young African players that are new to Rurope
I also think they should play in the newly formed private investors league in Nigeria as it us a league that will revolutionize our football

The most important thing about youth football is the ability to make it at senior level. We should take their ability to make it at senior level more seriously than winning laurels at a youth stage. We need to get rid of the Rabiu ibrahim syndrome.
The nff should device a methodology that will make them survive at senior level. It should be the main agenda of nff. Another set of Osimhen are comming up next year and it is the responsibility of stakeholders in our football to ensure their talent does not waste. We need to learn from experience

First of all KC has very limited technical ability.

Technicality speaking in his team among the forward players, who is he better than TECHNICALLY SPEAKING.

Grey, Maddison, Perez, Vardy, Barnes, etc, to name a few. So if he is not among the top technical players in his club then how can you cast aspersions on the league.

This is the same league that Mane, Salah, Firmino, Martial, Rashford, Greenwood, Pogba, De Bryna, Foden, Raheem, Mahrez, Gabriel have all had thier careers destroyed.

The fact is that technically speaking there are over a 100 players in the EPL much better than KC. Let's be truthful KC is technically poor.

You cannot give him what he has never had.
Iheanacho is TECHNICALLY PROFICIENT. I am not really his fan but i can say it in his defense. In a technical league like spain or italy he will thrive well. I can bet my life on it. But he needs to go somewhere where his style of play will be appreciated
Watch him at youth level and in some games with Leicester and the super eagles.

Leicester uses Madisson, Yourin Telemans and other players as attacking midfielders
Manchester United uses Bruno Fernandes
Man city uses Kevin de Bruyne and other players as attacking midfielders
Teams still use attacking midfielders. It just depends on the formation.

Besides Firmino with some coaches will be used as an attacking midfielder.
Even in Liverpool, he is a false 9 and not really an out and out striker.
It just depends on the coach and formation. Attacking midfielders are still needed and valuable
