Almeria have been brought by an Arab Billonaire and they now have money to buy players and are pushing for promotion to la liga. This is why they brought Sadiq Umar. They want to be the new Man City of Spanish football |

The funny thing is Sadiq Umar might fit into this team because of his footwork and creativity but people will say he is in second divisiin in Spain. The funniest thing is that one boy from Enyimba may actually make the difference at the end of the day. Remember Sunday Mba. Football is a funny and unpredictable game and the history of football is full of surprises |

IDENNAA: In fact, I think Tijani and Agu should start from the middle...they are both natural midfielders who can hold the ball and play good passes.
And , anybody that says Agu played badly yesterday needs to go back and pay attention whenever the number ten held the ball. He was playing like an attacking midfielder. Just because Agu is not playing for a top club does not remove his qualities. That is it. Big club or league mentality is overrated. We should try and see how players fit into our game plan. Iheanacho despite his strughles in leicester adds something to our attack. Ohanachu should be dropped for someone else. All this dem Terem mofffi arokodare eyc deserve a chance |

cc12: The lack of creativity in the midfield is glaring,I noticed it at AFCON 2019. This current Super Eagles lack a proper centre midfielder, Rohr should make sure he never misses inviting Ramon Azeez in subsequent matches so long Azeez plays the La Liga, although Azeez isn't world class he adds a bit of creativity and balance in the midfield. This Super Eagles team is really a midfielder who can control the tempo of a game and retain possession. Apart from Ramin Azeez Rohr should try Samson Tijani in the next friendly. He is a natural midfielder. He should try some radicalism in his selection |

Karlovich: I don't agree with you, our lone strikers were isolated throughout the game, and our wingers that were meant to support the attack were useless, having two strikers would have helped if one of them can drop into the midfield to assist with pushing attack That is iheanacho's best position and that is why we still need him. Iheanacho will be good as a supporting striker or pseudo midfielder |

humility33: That one mata tire me
We can make excuses for him because he is being played off position He should try Samson tijani who is a natural midfielder. Generally Rohr is not a brilliant tactician. He cant even try chidera ejuke. |

This team might need Samson Tijani. He can hold and distribute the ball and dominate midfield |

Olulong: I think thier dominance has to do with thier organization and structure and with this they can keep whatever talents they have unlike we in the west where any football talent will jump ship at any opportunity even if it is to India or Hong Kong Imagine if Tolu Arokodare obinna nwobodo Lukman Zakari samuel chukwueze etc were in Enyimba. Of course they will win the african champions league and chan for Nigeria. Rohr complained about this. He said any home based player he invites ends up in Europe within 6 months |

komekn: Then what on earth was Onuachu invited to the team for to cheer lead.
That's just poor, poor recruitment and decision making.
IMO opinion Algeria are technically superior to us. However, we may have the advantage in terms of athleticism ( pace and strength) without any quality strikers and limitations in our midfield.
We may struggle to control the game and dominate possession in comparison to Algeria.
That means having a target man like Onuachu gives us options because Mahrez, Benrhama and others will run circles around us.
So we dispens with trying to dominate the midfield and use the speed of counter attacks and and good hold up play. Something Onuachu can do very well.
KC has zero hold up play and has no physical presence to trouble any decent defence.
Our attack without Ighalo and Osimhen is in need of an overdose of viagra it's very impotent. We have 1. Terem Moffi 2. Victor okoh Boniface 3. Tolu Arokodare and othe young upcomming players on the way. Our football is producing talented forwards everytime. In fact Terem Moffi just transfered to lorient. We are producing talented forwards every time. As per crossers of the ball we have Hillary Gong but he just came back from injury |

Icon4s: We are drifting towards a period when all Nigerian starting 11 would be foreign born.
The NFF really needs to step up and boost football development at the local level. 1. Foitball Academies 2. Private investors league starting in november 3. Nff/futures under15 and various youth competitions Will keep producing players. Also the new sports minister (Sunday dare) is determined ti improve our local league and football. All rhesw thungs are working. In fact i can assure you that right niw foreugn born players will fi d it difficult in the striker and wingers pisition. Nentake Dembele (an academy player) is the next big thing in our football. Its just the local league that needs improvement and it will be done. Barcelina has a football league in Nigeria and it is pioneered by a Nigerian in partnership wirh Barcelona. The foreign born thing is just a passing phase. Ordunary olakunle olusegun and Samson Tijani if the u17 are on the way to big things. There is a silent revolution going on. Have you heard if Vandrezzer which is a local club run like a private league. The silent revolution will stop thus trend. The problem is foreign born fans are making too much noise. |

IDENNAA: Yes , he started off as an AM at Chile 2015 and Onega was his DM. Nwakali can also play CM , SS , RW and even DM. Nwakali needs regular football for a season and then we can start rating him. Lets wait till January and see what he will do. He is good but needs to prove it in la liga |

eazyjakes: It is his skill skill set that limits him and has nothing to do with his valuation on the market,no matter his price,a team can always afford him but question is what does he bring to the table of modern football aside tackling? Based on skill set there are two Nigerian players that will go far if they are serious 1. Samson Tijani: He is a natural midfielder that can attack and defend at the same time. He also has the attacking vision of a midfielder and can also mark and take free kicks. He will definately end up in a top team in future. I dont care if he does not play for us for the next world cup but watch out for him. His pogba like skill set are too good to ignore 2. Sadiq Umar: Sadiq Umar is unique because of his creativity. Few strikers or attacking midfielders have 19 assists in a season and a lot of coaches will like him for that. If he can cut it in a top 5 league. I mean if he plays well for Almeria and a first division team buys him or Almeria gains promotion, he will go far. It is rare for a striker to be this creative. Some players actually enter top teams because their SKILL SET is valuable not because they are necesarily the best. One old example is David Beckham. His vision and accurate crosses were valued by coaches even though he was not neccesarily the most talented. Football is about time. With time these players will prove themselves if they keep improving but their skill set by default can make them go far |
