Danielnino00: Amd all those bunch of players from Mexico..
IMO, our lack of good football infrastructure is one of the major reasons why a lot of our u-17s waste away...
After every u-17 tournament, greedy agents will be lining up to snatch the players to get them deals in Europe that would mostly end up benefiting them and not the players.. Things are changing. I believe that the 2019 under17 set will make it. Allready olakunle olusegun is scoring goals in denmark. I think some reforms are being made in the area of agents. Samson Tijani was caught up in Agent problems but he overcame it and went to red bull in a fantastic deal. Things are definately improving |

Subzero047: West Brom don't have any money, they spent all their money in signing permanently their loan signing
They don't have any striker near to the premier league quality Make dem buy boys from Africa. They can buy some boys from a football academy in Africa. They will be cheao under 1 million pounds. It might work. Some of our U17 Boys could be of help. It sounds crazy but it is a veritable option since they dont have money |

Omanambala: Most times when you have Ndidi and Etebe playing together there is always confusion in the middle because Etebo is a forward player who has been restricted to DM duties while Ndidi is a defender converted to DM. There is no natural instincts when they are placed there(DM roles). This is mostly the reason why our biggest weakness is the midfield. For a very long time we haven't got creativity in the midfield. We need to play good midfielders who can create play and bring fun back to SE....our style is like the samba but we have been playing without style and stability. We need ball players The player we have that can do that are Samson Tijani and Lesley Igochukwu but they are still teenagers but maybe we should give them a chance. Kelechi nwakali is also getting back into form. Let us see what he will do today. Joe aribo and Ramon Azeez are also natural midfielders |

Iheanacho will play 30 matches this season but out of the 30 matches 25 will be for 30 minutes. He will score 8 goals with 5 assists and pundits will say he is mediocre which is basically unfair. He should leave leicester to where he will be given game time. They are not giving him a fair chance. The Spanish league will be good for his style of play. Iheanach will score 20 goals a seasin if he is given a chance |

I recall he also featured in that friendly game vs Atletico Madrid alongside Nwakali and others. What if he does a Zaidu Sanusi and ends up in Benfica. I learnt he plays like Kanu |

Any foreign born player should join the Nigerian team now or it may be too late. In the next 2 to 5 years even foreign borns will find it difficult for 2 reasons
1. Our grassroot football is working and players from our youth team and academies are getting better. Who knows where samdon tijani, olakunle olusegun, hillary gong, akinkunmi amoo e.t.c will be a few years from now.
2. The number of foreign born pkayers are many and so they may be down the pecking order even among their foreign born.
Emmanuel Dessers is lucky he took his chance. The idea that foreign borns are better is overrated and maybe a thing of the past. Barcelona has an academy in lagos there is nff futures u15 and so one great player can emerge at anytime. |

jihday: Maybe in organization but definitely not quality wise The quality of nigerian league players is better than india. Nigerian league players might still make it elsewhere while the Indian league is nonsense. Ahmed musa, Ighalo, Taribo West. Can the indian league produce such players. I mean historically. Sikiru Olatunbosun, Stephen Odey are recent examples. What quality player has emerged from the Indian league before |

Danielnino00: You are quite right about that.. But Etebo always find his way into the starting eleven one way or another..
Remeber before the world cup,he was one of the players tipped to be dropped from the final list..I think that uncertainty played a part in his move to Stoke city...last last,he ended the tournament as one of our best players...
On a personal note,I will pick Aribo ahead of him in CM..Etebo should really consider moving back to a more offensive role he was known for before he moved to Europe... Stuff is even Ramon Azeez will bench him as he is a more natural midfielder but he is still useful for the team. The thing is he came into the team when we had little options in midfield. But then ovie ejaria and kelechi nwakali is there and in a few years or maybe now there is Alhassan Yusuf |

daveP: Its worrisome o. Very.
See defenders in EPL stepping up to contest fks with superb freekick takers and they are likely to score more. Not this usual luck fk thing, but part of their technical abilities...... I dunno who needs to sound this bell o. Cos its not good atall.
I do study our opponents when SE eants to take a setpiece of freekicks, they don't really bother much. Like they know its no good. SE don't know they study our clips too ni?
I hope the new boys change this fading ability. We need it badly.
That Mikel own sef.... (hesitates) Samuel Kalu, etebo can take free kicks |

jihday: No be by force to copy oyinbo. The regular Afcon, CAF struggles to pay the price money. For Afcon qualifier, some teams struggle to raise funds to persecute those games. Burdening them with an extra tournament will look unfair The home based nations cup (chan) and wafu Are enough |
