Leeds is now back in the premier league. I can remember when they got to the champions league semi final with alan smith and co. Glad for there emergence. Welcome back leeds. Hope one of our Nigerian players can go there. Its a club with a rich history and tradition |
Huesca scores again. Now 3 nil |
TheSuperNerd:Huesca have scored again. Its now 2 nill |
Godfrey Bitok Stephen (a left back 19 years old) scored for Isloch in the Belarusian league. quite an obscure league but dude is still very young |
TheLoneCitizen:Where did u get the information from. And to what team |
Good for you |
TheSuperNerd:In my opinion, Samson Tijani is like Jorginho, Pirlo, Oliseh etc. He is a deep lying play maker who creates from central midfield. He adds creativity to his normal defensive midfield duties. He is NOT ndidi or a pure defensive midfielder. He seems to have elite level world class talent as many clubs were rushing him. Salzburg is the perfect condition for him as their aim and objectives is to develop young players. All these big teams dont care about young players. Salzburg on the other hand DO NOT CARE about established stars |
Subzero047:You mean creative passes into the final third of the pitch and ball progression and atracking vision. If he does all that he will get into a big team immediately. |
komekn:Someone is trying to take advantage of him. This happens ALL THE TIME to home grown African players. They usually get into situations where an agent is trying to take advantage of them. Samson Tijani was an example until he landed in Salzburg. Stuff like this affects African players a lot. Well, if someone points this out, it will be as if one is making excuses for them |

TheSuperNerd:Victor Osimhen has allways been highly rated by talent sporters in Europe. Lois campos trailed osimhen for 4 years https://www.goal.com/en-ng/amp/news/osimhen-is-like-a-cat-luis-campos-reveals-how-lille-captured/1tzjdzuly85431u9m6o69taqz2 Maybe he has divine favor i dont know but Campos in particular has marketed him to everybody. I pray he does will in Napoli. I remember his match rating when nigeria played brazil. It went "Victor osimhen is something special". He troubled the brazilian central defenders in that match. I am not rating him i am just saying football scouts in Europe rate him highly |
BascoVanVeli:They can loan him to average portuguese teams like boavista etc or belgium or holland. You are right porto can bench nigerian players for life But men Latvia is too obscure. Austrian league will be good to |
Nigerian clubsides should recruit players from our football academies. Most of our players making waves in Europe are from football academies. Also there is an alternate league about to start for privately owned clubs and it will be interesting. There is the University league started a few years ago. I honestly appreciate efforts made to develop our local football |

NIGERIAN YAYA TOURE ON THE BRINK OF FC PORTO Football academies are the future of Nigerian football. Triple 44 academy Ibadan product is now on the radar of Fc porto. He could join their u19 soon. This is another great prospect to watch out for. His name is Emmanuel Adeyemo Football academies are a silent revolution in Nigerian football. https://www.record.pt/futebol/futebol-nacional/liga-nos/fc-porto/detalhe/emmanuel-adeyemo-pode-estar-a-caminho-do-fc-porto https://www.goal.com/en/news/tripple-44s-emmanuel-adeyemo-and-abioye-michael-train-with/n1r12gpctrmp1r578n5d1p5eb The problem with using foreign born players is like a man who begs his wealthy brother for money instead of telling him to get him a job. |
andrewbaba44:Can you give me a concrete reason. Halland's stats are intimidating. Is it work rate or whats the reason |
JayromWrites:https://www.completesports.com/osimhen-ready-to-join-napoli/ https://sportinglife.ng/napoli-director-confirms-osimhens-e81m-deal-says-lille-striker-now-ready-to-move/ Completesports and sportinglife.ng are now carrying the news. Is Victor Osimhen really the future of Nigerian football. Will he lead us to a world cup semi final and dominate african and world football. Only time will tell |
JayromWrites:Yes, the europeans rate him higher than we think. I am surprised myself. I actually see him as just a good young player that will improve with time. Maybe they are wrong or right i dont know. Besides Lequipe is a credible news source so he will probably end up in Napoli |
jihday:This is the link. Use google translate to translate it to English https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Article/Victor-osimhen-lille-a-choisi-naples/1152295 |
ON HENRY ONYEKURU 1 he needs to take up the monaco challenge and prove himself. He should stop running away to turkey 2. He us ready for a top 5 league. He has proved himself in belgium and turkey and so he should take his game to the next level. 3 A lot of teams still rate him and now is the chance to go above mediocrity and achieve true stardom 4 this is a big chance with monaco. The ball is in his court. His destiny is in his hands. Next season at monaco will be decisive for him 5 Monaco has a new coach and so there is nothing to fear again |
Good for you |
Blueelf:Klop has created a winning tradition. Sacking him will be a serious mistake. You don't change a winning team or coach. They CANNOT sack klop because the management is not stupid. He has imparted his philosophy on the club and as for me he should stay for another 5 years and totally establish a winning dynamic. A rolling stone gathers no moss Mind you I'm not a Liverpool fan. Other clubs will wonder at Liverpool's stupidity if he is sacked |
elunico:He will get to play. From what i read, he will be given one season to prove himself. They have 38 matches or more next season. They will need him. Its too early to judge him and huesca does not have money to buy players anyhow. If he does not play well next season then thats when they can dispose of him but for now he has a chance |
TheGoodJoe:I dont know but home grown nigerian/african players dont understand the european transfer market and how it can boist their career. They just go anywhere Pellegrini will most likely sign him as he was his former coach. BUT home grown players are poorly managed. Isaac success should have gone vack to la liga long ago |
Neobulletzz:Jorginho is a deep lying play maker and not a defensive midfielder. He is not a pure 4 so playing him as a 4 limits him and exposes his limitations. He needs to play with kante who can mark for him |
