Pull him/her down syndrome at its peak. One begins to wonder, how does an award given to NOI in a far away country remove food from the table of this sophisticated hater. Woe unto Nigeria, a country that destroys its finest in the global arena due to ethnicity and hateful politics. |
It's sad for the little girl, I wish her speedy recovery. But why all the double standard in the write up? Why protect the names of the mother and the child but expose the full details of the accused, what is he is found not guilty by the court? |
Non sense, when they are tired they should bring out the girls from where they are hiding them if there is anything like Chibok girls in the first place. They mean to tell me that Boko Haram kidnapped such number of girls and uptill now we don't know their names nor have seen their pictures? Is it not this same Nigeria that when one person is declared missing within minutes the persons pictures will be all over the Internet? Boko Haram is suddenly a philanthropist to kidnap over 200 people, fed them freely for almost a year and place them where BBC's agents alone can always 'spot' them? |
Wow, this man took the shine off Orubebe. It's sad to become a global name through negative act. |
If my eyes are not deceiving me, the number on the armour tank in photo 3 looks like our military code. Were these part of our looted armoury? Kudos to them! |
I thank God on your behalf. I visited Ikorodu yesterday and when I got to this spot I noticed a truck laden with sand or gravel that was in a big dish. The location made me curious because it's exactly opposite where tanker exploded about 3weeks ago. Thank God for your salvation. Something fast should be done about a speed breaker that is constructed on that road immediately after Mobil filling station, it's done halfway and the way motorists avoid it is a recipe for disaster. |
I salute Buhari's doggedness but this man is a classic case of an enemy within being more deadly than an enemy without. He betrayed pdp badly. |
Jonathan's defeat may be a price for Nigeria's unity, I hope all ethnic warlord gets to understand that. God's ways are not our ways. |
Sir I wish you can get this message. Your humble nature has humbled me, with so much power at your disposal you did not allow it get to your head. Your ability to cope with a domineering wife amazes me. You are far from being perfect like every other human but for this your action which has saved thousands of lives you are a hero of our democracy and a winner even in defeat. Goodluck in your future endeavours! |
Buhari was asked and he gave a passmark even when he was informed of the crises in Rivers. But Amechi is here calling for thesame election to be cancelled. Something is wrong with the opposition. |
So sad that someone will win this election and still forget the effort of this elderly one. Once they get to power, all they will think of is themselves and their family. |
Sconty09:But Yorubas rejected the post of the Speaker of house of Rep and handed it to the north, how about that? So are you also saying the noise of change is a selfish one? |
Charity begins at home, we ask for more Mr Willie. I wish you greater wisdom! |
eldnix:Of course, poor leadership contributes to this problem, but this time it's both state and federal. |
I don't know the full story but I had an engagement in that axis this morning and on getting there the fire was raging. I personally sighted a corpse already burnt beyond recognition. The spate of accidents involving fuel tankers and is getting too much, the government better find a lasting solution to this problem.

Iraq and Syria need you now, leave us to our fate. May every plan of all pretentious friends against my life come to naught like America's plans for Nigeria. What exactly has the black race gained from Obama's presidency? |
Where are those sophisticated weapons we kept hearing BH has? Propaganda is deadly. |
Why didn't they gas the area still and arrest Shekau that they declared wanted years ago. Nonsense report, why are they telling us now months after the damage was done? This is a brand new propaganda. |
2sExy1:I say Amen to your prayer, one thing am always scared of is growing to old age and not having a place to call my own. I want to make hey while the sun shines. |
Please I need an informed advice on this issue that has bothered me for long. I hope to get married in about 2years time but my intention is either to have a good business that can augment my salary or build a 3 bedroom flat to start my life with before marriage. 1. I already have a plot of land. 2. My current rent expires in 2years time. 3. By current state of things, my budget for the next 2years can take care of only one of the two issues above. 4. I hate to live on only one source of income. Once again I need a sincere and informed advice. |
The responses that have trailed this story since it broke is a glimpse of how corrupt Nigerians can be. Imagine Nigerians accusing the woman of being foolish for returning what does not belong to her? That is the mindset our politicians have together with their relatives who will cajole them to steal public fund that belongs all of us. I respect the woman's sense of contentment. Riches shall find her and her family in a way she least expect. By the way, how come I haven't seen comments of those who are so quick to accuse Igbos of loving money beyond every other human? |
What sort of for-warning is this coming less than 24hrs to the supposed closure? Why was this announcement not made at least a week ago to help people plan their movement? This is grossly inhuman. |
APC to sue FG, APC to sue PDP, APC to sue AIT, APC to sue FFK, APC to sue Guardian, APC to sue Fayose, APC to sue Nairaland... By the time election is over APC would have sued every Nigerian. They are good at propaganda and criticisms but can't take same. |

The absence of Shekau from this photo speaks volume. |
It saddens my heart that up till now this road is still in this state. I remember how I celebrated when work started on this road while in my first year and passed this road often. In my third year I lost a course mate to accident on this same road, I have long graduated yet the road is not halfway completed. This is a great minus to this administration. |
It is nice seeing the Professor getting connected to the grass root but the problem I have with him is why he has only focused on Southwest. Is he not expecting votes from other zones? He has spent 90percent of his free time moving around Lagos and few states in South west as if he is contesting for governorship position. |
slimfit1:I can see my former boss in one of the pictures shaking hands with the president and a nobody like you is calling them hungry people. Learn to know that everybody can never think as you do or agree with your political believes. Respect people's opinions. |
Kudos to the military, I hope this victory will be reported in the international media the way they have always reported terror attacks here. |
I have never seen a better hypocrite than this man. A man who supervised the greatest electoral fraud in Nigeria through Iwu, ensured that Governors and Senate presidents were impeached at will, supervised the kidnap of a sitting governor and consequent burning of government house will suddenly turn around to become the mouth piece of good governance. Let him resign from the ruling party and become a full member of the opposition party so that Nigerians will know how and where to clarify him. For now he is a bat in Nigeria politics. |
