Politics › Re: Why Jega Must Clear His Name Or Face The Consequences - Sahara Reporters by PHIPEX(m): 8:52pm On Feb 11, 2015
Clearly there is no honour among thieves. If the umpire could be bought by PDP in Ekiti then he can also be bought by APC at the national level. I hope he clears his name because a good name is worth more than silver and gold. He has been a reference point on excellence since 2011, I really pray these allegations turn out false otherwise he will disappoint millions of people and his own conscience if he still has any.
Politics › Re: Jonathan’s Biggest Economic Mistakes — Pat Utomi by PHIPEX(m): 3:31pm On Feb 01, 2015
I hate it when intellectuals keep quiet for something to go wrong before they speak up. I respect Soludo and Utomi alot but it is grossly unfair of them to wait by the corner and watch Iweala confront the politicians alone. I remember my Eco101 tells me that the best economic policies are still subject to political expediency. Why did they not join the fight against our political monsters who wanted every penny shared?

Our politicians are our greatest problem. The national assembly wouldn't want their jumbo pay sliced but will expect the finance minister to do wonders. All what most of them know is there is always money from oil and I keep wondering why none of these political parties is interested in telling us how they will reduce the current bogus overhead expenses of the government.

The devil is the smartest being alive besides God. His suggestions at times appears very harmless but secretly laced with eternal poison. God bless you my inspired gospel musician.
Politics › Re: Amaechi: I’m Igbo, Jonathan Who Says His Name Is Ebele Can’t Speak The Language by PHIPEX(m): 6:44pm On Jan 09, 2015
So it has to take election for Amechi to realise that he is Igbo.
I have a dream that one day all the prodigal Igbo sons and daughters shall return home.
Politics › Re: Certificate Scandal: What Buhari Could Learn From Obama - Rudolf Ogoo Okonkwo by PHIPEX(m): 9:33pm On Jan 08, 2015
Justice must not only be done but must be seen to have been done. Imagine what APC would have said if this were to be about Jonathan? This man got to power through shortcut, got a loan from a bank to purchase his form through shortcut. Now he wants to become a president through shortcut.
Let him be the change he has been preaching. I dislike men with double standards.
Politics › Re: Buhari Should Provide A Copy Of His Certificate - Fred Agbaje by PHIPEX(m): 7:54pm On Jan 07, 2015
Is this how this man intends to rule this country? What does it cost him to present what the constitution requires and kill this controversy once and for all. This is a terrible attribute for someone who wants us to forget the toga of dictator that is attached to him. Where then is the much talked about discipline our fathers told us he had?
Obama had a similar controversy and he made his certificate public, Ambode of APC Lagos did similar thing so why is Buhari's case different?
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s TV Shut Over Tax Evasion by PHIPEX(m): 5:48pm On Dec 24, 2014
This is a bit funny. Since Oyakilome preaches tithe, where does he expect these workers that have not been paid since June to get their tithe from. If any of these workers is his member, has such a person sinned if he failed to pay tithe?

Politics › Re: Obanikoro Insults Tinubu - Says His Teeth Is More Yellow Than A Sunflower by PHIPEX(m): 9:11am On Oct 25, 2014
Pretence all over the thread. To imagine that many Nairalanders see nothing wrong in insulting the President and his wife but are quick to come to the rescue of Oga Tinubu leaves much to be desired.
By the way, this is a big low from Koro.
Politics › Re: Ojukwu Knew Obi Would Dump APGA – Obiano’s Aide by PHIPEX(m): 8:21am On Oct 25, 2014
I will never contest again if I loose in 2011...Buhari
I will quit politics after my tenure ...Peter Obi
One tenure is good enough for me... GEJ

Like someone said, show me a politician that can be trusted and I'll show you a new born baby with 32 teeth. We are led by bunch of liars. After watching Obi mess up Soludo's ambition I knew he too is like an average Nigerian politician; too loud but with little intergrity. Unfortunately we are stuck with them for the next forseeable future.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Oando Graduate Trainee Recruitment 2014 by PHIPEX(m): 1:04pm On Oct 19, 2014
eminado:
Well I'm 22 and I've completed nysc and master's, so not to sound arrogant but this people aim to get the best and try to make the entry requirements as rigid as possible. However, Nigeria in its present state has limitless opportunities which creative ones are tapping into. It would be wise if you and everyone could channel productivity into any original idea no matter how insignificant it might seem.
I chose to reply you because of the bolded and if you must know, I am not unemployed. If you were careful enough you would have noted that that I asked "How MANY Nigerian Engineers" can meet up with such requirement, that statement takes note of people like you whose bread got buttered at an early age. You also have to note that many of the people who may choose to apply may not be unemployed but may wish to tap into the goodies of the oil industry. In addition, while I congratulate you, you must note that people like you are in the extreme minority in the country and "those whose palm kernels were cracked for them by a benevolent spirit should not forget to be humble".
Politics › Re: Buhari Leading On All Polls Including in Reno Omokri's (Pics/vid) - Cramjones by PHIPEX(m): 12:45pm On Oct 19, 2014
I wanted to see how many people voted in the so called poll and all I could see is about 13,000 total votes. Anyone who thinks the opinions of 13000 people will determine the votes of over 170 million Nigerians is in need of medical checkup.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Oando Graduate Trainee Recruitment 2014 by PHIPEX(m): 10:39pm On Oct 13, 2014
These people keep encouraging deceit in the system. They said the offer is open to those with masters or bachelors degree and for those who finished their service in the last 4years yet they are putting 25yr cap on it. How many Nigerian engineers graduated, had their masters and are through with NYSC before age 25? This will simply make many people to doctor their age to suit employers' demand.
They've knocked so many brilliant guys off on age ground, goodluck to them.
Culture › Re: Igala Language In Anambra State. by PHIPEX(m): 4:32pm On Oct 12, 2014
OP, I identify with you, infact we are from same LG even though am 100% Igbo. But you should also agree that the state has recognised your area by citing Anambra West LG HQ in your town when it was created in 1996 even though it is smaller than most other Anam towns. This is highly unlike the domineering posture of the Nigerian state. You will agree the state has embraced you as one of us. Though I wish you success in your pursuit but I think this energy should be directed towards seeking more of infrastructural development in your town especially the federal road connecting you to Otuocha through Anam which has been under construction since when I was born.

Congrats OP and thanks to all the Ogas in the house. I also got a Camry(big daddy) recently and the advice and recommendations in this sections has become an operation manual to a JJC like me. I' v learnt so much so soon. Please you guys should keep up your good works here.
Politics › Re: Support Our Troops Not The Terrorists by PHIPEX(m): 12:50pm On Oct 06, 2014
Truly, the more attention Nigerians give the terrorists the more they are encouraged to propagate their terror in the media. The government has the sole responsibility of battling and ending the carnage in our land and they must live up to the expectation of average Nigerian without excuses. At the same time I'll play my part by supporting our gallant troops who are putting their lives on the line for me to sleep with my two eyes well closed. Since this year, I have personally stopped watching whatever video these terrorist put in the media, that's my own way of supporting our military.
Health › Re: Panic As America Quarantines 81 Ebola Suspects by PHIPEX(m): 4:45pm On Oct 03, 2014
Since their Zmapp is not yet proven to be effective, I hope they will be humble enough to ask Nigeria for the drug u.at did the magic here. Even if it means accepting the once relected ' Pesticide' . This should be a great lesson to every egocentric man out there.
Health › Re: Nigeria’s Actions Seem To Contain Ebola Outbreak -New York Times by PHIPEX(m): 11:21pm On Oct 01, 2014
See how they almost stylishly took the shine away from Nigeria. Who cares if the isolation centres were originally built for polio by Americans. Thank God our effort has become a global reference point, I wonder why the report failed to mention our 'Herbicide' drug.
Politics › Re: JUST IN: Ngige Concede Defeat, Congratulates Obiano by PHIPEX(m): 9:29pm On Sep 23, 2014
The title should be "Ngige resigns to fate" . He had a chance to be seen as a true Democrat but he failed to concede defeat when it mattered most and he blew the opportunity. The supreme court has spoken, he can as well appeal to international court, maybe he will be made a governor by force.
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Falls Out With Obiano by PHIPEX(m): 7:40pm On Jul 29, 2014
dozzzybaba: Peter Obi handed over power, he left Anambra state and he hasnt travelled to Anambra ever since, WTF?

what is wrong with the igbo man? Why do you all keeping running away from igboland? Your youths are running away from igboland, your elderly are running away from igboland, even your leaders and former governors are running away and they arent going back home

Peter obi looted the anambra state treasury dry, he built a shopping mall in abuja whilst neglecting his own state and he hasnt travelled back home since he handed over power
. People like you are so quick to draw unfounded conclusions. A man spent 8yrs governing a state and handed over just 4months ago so because he hasn't gone home in 4 months it means he has absconded from his state, how reasonable is that to you? Are you sure he is even in Nigeria? When last did you travel to your village? Or you just chose to be an armchair critic. Which group in Nigeria travel home more than these people you want to insult?
Politics › Re: 2015: Buhari Must Become APC Presidential Candidate, Says Yerima by PHIPEX(m):
With the way APC is selling Fashola, I expect him to be the VP but as far as APC presidential candidate is concerned, the northern oligarchy is in control. The North already see the presidency as their birthright, the West is complaining of marginalisation in GEJ govt so I don't expect them to play a second fiddle in any APC govt. The question then is, what becomes of Amechi and Rochas in the future of APC?

If not for the born to rule mentality, Pat Utomi is APC's surest bet for the presidency.
Politics › Re: Revealed: Okonjo Iweala Got Kick-backs Over Paris Club Debt Deal by PHIPEX(m): 6:03pm On Dec 24, 2013
Is this the new phase of attacks? I guess Oduah's case was lost so you guys have moved to new front. Oya keep digging, you may even discover that Okonjo Iweala is not a Nigerian. grin
Politics › Re: Oby Ezekwesili blasts Nigerian lawmakers for “disrespecting” Okonjo-Iweala by PHIPEX(m): 1:06am On Dec 22, 2013
agbameta: How do you criticize and demean other people then turn around and do the same thing you are blasting and criticizing them for?

Talk about gross cluelessness, thoughtlessness and hypocrisy.

Sad to know this ignorant and mindless woman used to be a federal minister.
You are the pathetic hypocrite. People like you were hailing her when she took GEJ to the cleaners months ago but now that her views are contrary to what you expected she has become a hypocrite.
Politics › Re: Onitcha Gra I And Gra Ii by PHIPEX(m): 10:03pm On Dec 20, 2013
bestviewer: Stop talking like a dunce all the time. Have you been to Onitsha in the recent time? If you are talking of good roads, aesthetics and clean environment Onitsha has got it right. Even your state capital does not have any decent livable hood like the Onitsha- GRA Phase 1 & 2, Omagba Phase 1 & 2, Trans-Nkisi, 3-3, etc.

I think you should be bothered so much about the clown okorosha who has succeeded in running Imo state into huge debt with nothing on the ground to show for it.
I agree with you, I've been to these places and they can compete with any Naija city on cleanliness.
Politics › Re: Iyabo Obasanjo: Why I Gave Up On My Dad by PHIPEX(m): 9:43pm On Dec 20, 2013
EloquentMedia: They said it's a family affair and Seun is afraid of the elders who must have told him not to broadcast it. But if na Governor Chime and Wife it's not a family issue. We will getting front page digest of the day to day happening.
Perfect, Chime's stories hit front page with less than 5 comments especially when his wife wrote her own letter, but here we are. whoever controls the front page is more political than politicians and more biased than the tribal e-warlords that roam nairaland. I can't believe am just hearing about this "letter to my father". Abeg make I go find the original copy read grin
Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Economy Largest In Africa As Rebasing Boosts GDP To $405bn by PHIPEX(m): 9:22pm On Dec 20, 2013
That we are growing is not in doubt but anyone who says we are not developing is not truthful. Imagine where we were in 1999 and compare it to where we are today. My only problem is that the development side is too slow for my liking but certainly, we have made so much progress. By the way, has anyone noticed the sudden drop in complains about bad roads across the country especially in this travelling season?

Politics › Re: Co-ordinated Political Attacks On GEJ 2015 by PHIPEX(m): 7:29am On Dec 14, 2013
Am waiting for IBB, Farouk and Bankole's letters to the presidency afterall, once anyone leaves that gold plated seat in Aso rock he becomes a repentant criminal. This is Nigeria where the legal maxim that says that "He that comes to equity must come with clean hands" do not apply. Imagine a man who wanted 3rd term scheming to deny another man a second term?

Politics › Re: Importers Urge FG To Make Onitsha Port Cargo Destination by PHIPEX(m): 4:12pm On Dec 08, 2013
fkaz: And you think only onitsha port is close to north-east and middle belt. What about baro port in niger state, lokoja port in kogi state they are all in the same categories. My dear onitsha port is always in the news because of politics, onitsha port can not function without Baro port and lokoja not put into proper shape.
The success of Onitsha port is not just because it is a port but because the major importers are Igbos and majority of these importers have their businesses at Onitsha. So I see no reason why Onitsha must remain domant because other river ports are domant; except if federal character also applies here. undecided undecided
