Enwerenchukwu is not Edo name. May be Edo is her state of residence or her mum gave the name.

All that matter now is that she's making us proud.

Ride on good gal, sky is the starting point
When next they tell you there are Igbos in Edo state, do not argue. There have been several threads here that Igbanke in Edo is Igbo

This is actually normal....

Even when Buhari was a president, most Northerners suffered and refused to question the system.

The point is, leadership in Nigeria isn't about tribe but about self-interest. But would readily make use of tribe and region when seeking for votes.

When you vote incompetence, you suffer it, irrespective of who you voted.

When Seun Tinubu used the airforce1 , he's reaping what he worked for. When you suffer as a citizen, you're equally suffering from what you planted as a leader.
I hope you remembered to say this during the Lagos election when Gbadebo became "omo Ibo".

Your onitsha can't even stand ota let alone agbara or ikare. Yes!
In the interest of your future children, try to step out of that your community. Is it the Ota that the only tarred road is the major road that runs from Sango bus stop to Atan junction axis toward Idiroko boarder? or Agbara that runs from Atan Junction to Agbara bus stop with no motorable road? the rest are full of untarred roads with bungalows scattered everywhere?

Why did you skip parental inheritance? baba ogbon.
You think sey na you smart pass grin grin grin grin grin grin
Because it's statistically insignificant. Most registered land owners in the East bought it with their money. Those with inheritance (male or female) are usually based on communal knowledge and hardly gets registered with the govt so are statistically insignificant.

A divorcee in the north doesn't get one inch of her ex husband's property after divorce. She just carrys whatever she came with.
So your point of divorce falls flat!
Also the issue of polygamy, how many people (women) have money to by property in the poorest sections of the country?
The obvious answer is inheritance.
A woman in the north (especially Muslim North) inherits land from her father, husband, brother, mother, sister, .... etc.
Whereas in contrast ita totally opposite in say SE.
You are basically saying women in the other regions only get property through inheritance, meaning they dont have personal purchasing power to do so on their own. Compare that stats with the stats below and see the correlation

But you should have known this long ago. By their culture, women have no rights to inheritance. So this doesn't in any way come as a surprise.
So all the woman in the other regions got their property through inheritance?
Properties › Re: Statistics Of Women Per Region Who Own A House With Title In Nigeria by PHIPEX(m): 10:34pm On Nov 11, 2023
mandarin:
Polygamy and divorce could contribute but can't tell the whole story.
Thry are the main reason a woman could own a propertt in her name. Cultural side of inheritance is too minute to make an impact.

Apart from these what else could be the reason?
Properties › Re: Statistics Of Women Per Region Who Own A House With Title In Nigeria by PHIPEX(m):
There is a close relationship between this stats and Divorce rate. The higher the divorce rate, the higher the potential for a woman to own a property IN HER OWN NAME. Why should my wife own a property in her own name if we are happily married, the least is co-ownership of property between the husband and the wife.

It also relates to the high rate of polygamy, women have higher tendency to own property in their own name if the husband is polygamous. In that case each wife tries to secure the future of their own children. Statistically, South East is least in polygamy in Nigeria because of the influence of Christianity, so their women will be the least in owning landed property in their own names.
