First of all, I never compared phone's camera to the human eye. The human eye perceives up to 576Mp which is far above the capacity of any phone's camera.

That statement I made was to point out the fact that phone manufacturers are already beginning to attain peak quality hence focus is gradually shifting to top zooming, telephoto, live focus functionalities all this of which am sure the infinix s4 lacks. That's why phone manufactures are introudcting dual camera, triple camera and the likes to account for other important functionalities of the camera.

Look at the infinix s4, it has three cameras (basically useless).. Because none accounts for enhanced zooming, none accounts for live focus, none fitted with a telephoto lens. Just 3 useless cameras to brainwash the masses.. Pathetic!!

Anyone using an infinix s4 and wants to prove me wrong should please snap a picture at highest zoom capacity let's really see how clear it is. You lots just keep living in the past

For your information, this is how the camera on almost all new phones are ... Most phones are already attaining peak photo quality that a human eye can perceive. So nowadays, camera strengths are rated on how good the zooming and focus functionalities are.

I'm back again o. I think I will need to do factory reset because I realized some features are permanently disable also. The worst part is that my message too is not working. When I checked the App setting. It was totally disabled and some others inbuilt app.
My problem is how can I back up all what I have on my phone without losing any because my phone is 64gb

Do you have an sdcard and what's the capacity?

Do you have a PC with sufficient free storage, say at least 60Gb? Or do you have both?

I'd advise that you take it to Carlcare and if you don't want to (for some reason) be mindful of who you give your phone to for repair. However, try flashing other firmware for hot 6 on it. You just might be lucky to have it fixed by flashing a particular build for Hot 6.

I have a similar issue to this.. Installing an OTA system upgrade on my Infinix Hot 6 and suddenly my phone was stuck in a boot loop(start booting, go off for a couple of seconds and start booting again).. Tried to hard reset it but was not working..Told I had to flash the phone and install another ROM compatible with the phone. At the end of it, new ROM as the one on it before was installed but only issue is the icon to switch to the front camera on the phone is missing. Factory reset was done again but no changes. Took it carlcare because the phone is still under a 1 year warranty but I was told that the front camera would have to be changed entirely. Tried to get the stock camera app on Google but did not find and also had a friend using the same phone as mine send me his camera app but no difference also. Please is there any other solution other than these?

Actually, your phone's problem is different from the other user. Hers was a disabled camera app while yours is working with no camera in app switch to select front (selfie) camera.

Regarding the problem you're facing, first, I'd want you to know that since the stock camera app can't switch to front camera (owing to missing clickable button) no app will fix that for you. Second, i've several of such cases and 90%of the time it turns out that the front camera is bad while others were simply stock ROM issue. A friend of mine had a similar problem on his Samsung s5 in which the option to swap to the front camera isn't present in the camera app. Flashing didn't fix it but another front camera did.

Deduction & Possible Solution: For hardware failure, seems the camera API is designed in such a way that the switching button in the camera app on shows when both cameras are detected. Probably your phone has experience fatal impact due to drop or water spillage towards the phones earpiece grill. Change front camera.

For software, flashing with the appropriate ROM should fix it. NOTE: Suppose your phone has a factory installed android 7.0 but spec says it's upgradable to 8.1. I'd advise you to flash with the Android version that came with your phone and not with the upgraded version.

It's sweet and easy to protest when it comes to unproven cases as this but very bitter and difficult to protest when it comes to pressing and obvious national issues.

Okay, I suppose you're using the default launcher then. (Basically, a launcher is an app that offers you home screen(s) and a desktop drawer with bundled themes and wallpapers. Some come with cool features such as your XHide feature and gesture navigation.)

Well, as stated earlier, install stock cam app, if no success, do a thorough backup and format or take it to Carlcare. But it isn't something serious There is an extremely high chance that installing the exact stock app will work. That's if you can find someone with the same phone as yours to send it to you.

Thanks so much. I tried to Google the stock camera app for my phone. Though I saw one with 20/16 pixel but my phone is 24/16 pixel for front and back. I've downloaded it and I will be using it maybe I will see someone that is using my kind of phone. My phone is camon x pro or I can take it to carlcare maybe they can fix it for me. The icon's disappearance is due to the Camera App being disabled ( or frozen).

The disabled state might be a result of installing another camera app that disabled the stock. Rarely, this happens to avoid conflict. I use rarely here because you don't have root so it's kind of difficult for any user-app (unless the said app is also a System app) to disable a system app but that doesn't mean it's not possible. Ideally, a user app can over ride the default usage setting for a system app and not disabling it.

By the way, which launcher are you currently using?

Well, it seems to me that you have uninstalled the other camera apps and you're certain you no longer have any third-party camera app PLUS you did not find the camera app in your list of frozen apps even though the camera app appears disabled in settings. Yet, the camera icon is nowhere to be found on the drawer...

Try this; If you can get a friend's phone that is exactly your model, use xender to send the default camera app and install it. If you don't have anyone around with your phone model, just go to Google and search for " stock camera app for <put your phone name and model>" .

With that, you should be able to find the stock camera app for download. Install it and try opening it to see whether it launches your camera. If it doesn't, then I'm afraid your solution is Factory Resetting. Remember to do backup of files, contacts, sms, logs and so on before doing this. I really hope you don't have to reset though.

From the screenshot, it is disabled.Since you can launch the camera from gallery, this means nothing is wrong with your Camera API. Therefore, go to storage and clear cache. Reboot your phone and try launching the camera via the camera icon.

Do you have similar anomaly with other apps? If not, I'd suggest you go to play store and download the latest WhatsApp version and install. Do not side load the apk by either collecting via xender or downloading it through browser.

That means you have problem with the Flash/Fast Charge feature. You can trouble shoot as follow:

1) Get a friend's or relative's fast charger (if any) that fast charges to see if it charges. You can go to local retail stores and try out original Infinix flash charger with original cable to see if it charges with the double charging sign.

2) Use your current charger and USB cable to charge another Infinix that supports flash charge to see if they flash charge too.

Both steps above give you a clue to where the problem is ( with your Charger adpater, USB cable, both, or Phone)

If phone does not still flash charge with ORIGINAL flash charger and USB cable then you will need to take your phone to a competent technician or to Carl are to have the charging subboard and flex checked.

Revert what you did... If reverting does not still work, that means what you did has modified some system files such as build.prop. In build.prop, there is a line of code that controls your rotation. With root you can easily fix whatever system modification it is.

Revert first then let me know what's up.

Did you install a third-party camera app? If yes, uninstall it and try searching for the stock camera app under Settings->Apps (show system apps) to see whether it is there but disabled (the previously installed app might have disabled it though less likely without root).

If this does not work, go to your gallery and see if you can launch the camera from there. If you can't then you have a software glitch. In this case, backup your files and data then do FACTORY RESET. Let's know the outcome after trying all these.

Dont get me wrong, whatever sense of judgement am giving is based on my experience using wide variety of these mobiles. I won't force you to pick a mobile over another, because at the end of the day, it trims down to user's preference.
I also didn't wanna join the argument brewing on this thread, because I made arguments like this 3 to 4years back and I believe I'm past that now.

Now, the second paragraph of your writeup. I understand that on paper, infinix s4 would seem like a high quality device and I also understand the difference in RAM between both devices. But there is something you should note, phone performance is never fully dependent on the size of the RAM alone. Many other factors could easily make a 2gb RAM phone perform similarly or even better than a 6gb RAM phone, one of which is obviously the system's platform I.e the chipsets, the clock speed, the CPU and some other important Criterias. That's where the s4 suffers.

Let's look at the Display Resolution of the both phones. Both phones are resoluted to a manageable 271 ppi. On paper this seems to be equal, the difference can only be noticed when both mobiles are placed side by side. It's well known that phone manufacturers easily lie about specification especially Transsion mobiles that's not operating under a regulatory body.

I've compared other specifications, the only area I think the infinix S4 will win is when it comes to the battery strength. I've lauded Infinix for their efforts on producing very efficient battery capacities. That's the only place the Samsung A10 will lack.

For a phone that's not worth 50k, the Samsung A10 still performs function of high end devices, same cannot be said about the infinix s4( user reviews can back me up)

I get you correctly... And ofcourse everyone knows that on-paper spec does not translate to real world performance...but we cant be blind to the fact that on-paper spec hints you on what to expect in the real world... If that's not the case why is there a spec sheet in the first place?

Moreover, it true that more ram, storage, processing power, pixel counts and so on doesn't imply more performance index. However, these things counts given proper optimization between hardware to software on devices.

Once again, Samsung A10 is not comparison worthy in the 'A10 vs S4' topic.
