Awoofawo: Ignorance. See as una dey display una lack of education. After una go talk say una go school. Return your diploma juh. The world is global now son. People travel more. Diseases that were localized are no longer restricted to remote areas because infected people tend to travel more nowadays. Airplanes, trains etc have made it easier. Diseases used to WIPE OUT tribes in ancient times and never spread beyond the tribes because TRAVEL wasn't as efficient as it is today. Back in the days, they used to claim the gods were angry. Meanwhile it's diseases like ebola, hiv etc that have been wiping out tribes since 600 AD. |

Kx: HIV AIDS was not achieving the desired goal; What is this one saying. Ebola has been around since 1976. You wondering why the disease has something to do with Africa? If you don't know the answer to your own question, then that right there is the muuurderrrfaaackn problem. Ever wondered why malaria is prevalent in Africa? Do people in the western world eat the type of "bush meat" that we eat? Do they have the poor hygiene record that we have in Africa? Ebola is real. End of discussion |

GenBuhari: What are you smoking? Anyway, i'm sure you're just joking. |
Health / Re: Man From Nigeria Tested For Ebola In The UK by phuckNL: 7:56pm On Jul 30, 2014 |
GenBuhari: White man just want Africans to panic and to be dis-united. Stop misleading people. They need to be cautious and avoid unnecessary body contact. The reason this virus is an issue is because the symptoms are similar to MALARIA. Most people treat MALARIA at home so if a victim contracts EBOLA in Naija, they may initially think it is MALARIA. By the time they realize it is EBOLA, they would have infected their family members. The best way to prevent a pandemic is to contain it and enlighten people. If it goes out of hand and starts to spread, it will become a serious issue because THE WEST WILL NOT INVEST IN A CURE UNTIL IT THREATENS THE WEST. The chances of EBOLA becoming a pandemic in the west is remote so WE ARE THE ONES THAT NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES AND ENSURE IT DOESN"T SPREAD. 3 Likes |

GenBuhari: I am very suspicious of whether this Ebola is real or not. Yes you are!! This type of mentality is why thousands still dey kpai from HIV induced illness in Africa. Don't we have AFRICAN doctors and medical centers? If the disease was fake, you don't think they would know. The disease is transmitted via bodily fluids and is not airborne, that's why it's been localized. Most people that caught it earlier or got infected did not fly so the possibility was remote initially. How many people from war torn Congo dey fly plane? Not everything is a CIA covert op. People in the west, do not eat bush meat or mess with the type of bats that harbor this virus so how dem wan get am? 1 Like |

I referenced the issue of the babalowo using juju to find the chibok girls because ghost of sparta said someone came on LTV that he could do it but the govt didn't support him. I'm done argueing. ghostofsparta: Look at you displaying your ignorance. Shame on you too! You can't keep lieing to people and expect them to keep believing you. We live in a world where people are more enlightened. Keep all you fables and false stories to the 15 century. This is 2014 son. We now know why we have rainbows, we now know rainfall and sunshine has nothing to do with lions mating/giving birth. We now know twins are not witches. We now know "abiku" children are simply "ss". We now know we have been fed a bunch of lies and yet you come out here to abuse me because i refuse to be GULLIBLE? Abeg go park for fashola BRT park. All this powers and yet they did nothing to prevent our ancestors from colonization? Did nothing to develop their people yet i am to believe they had some nonsense powers or juju but they just chose not to use it? Even a 4year old child now knows better. The same lies of "armed robbers picking up brooms to sweep homes due to juju". Come on go and park well. Everytime anyone suggests they are ready to test the efficacy of the so-called juju, people like you always run away so wetin come be your own. If this stuff is real, then lets see it. Is it that hard To answer a part of your epistle up there. Why d foooorkkk does the government have to contact the so-called babalawo. If he knows how to find the chibok girls then do so goddamnit. This shait is beginning to piss me off |

macof: Here's where you are wrong. It has mainly been hearsay and a situation of "take it or leave it" How many times have you heard of people saying a witch changed into a cat but nobody was actually there when the witch changed. They happen to see a cat from the same location an old woman is spotted and then bam..."she's the one that changed into the cat" As per the bulletproof thing, the same applies. When it fails, which it always does unless the shooter misses, they claim it was because the person didn't do something right. It is really simple. If this thing is real, film it and show it for all to see. |

macof: Your analogy is so off. The existence of pluto has been substantiated by academia. There are telescopes, light calculations etc that prove it exists. The existence of pluto does not defy logic so it is not a question of my belief. Pluto exists. THIS IS FACT. Has nothing to do with what i believe. You can not say the same for your JUJU |

xtervaganza: if you say this in some places you'll drop dead instantly Na lie. Jazz no dey anywhere. If Jazz dey, prove it or shut it. We have hidden cameras and all the sophisticated technology in the world to prove it yet no one can. Na people like you go dey comment say NASA no land on moon despite video evidence but chose to believe some ridiculous juju fallacy without proof. And please, please and pretty murrrafaaacckn please, do not tell me "you have witnessed it live" because if i count the number of people that have said this, i will be a billionaire by now. |
Culture / Re: Man Killed In Benin While Testing Charms’ Efficacy by phuckNL: 2:13pm On Jul 08, 2014 |
macof: I do not need to see it fail because like i said earlier, JUJU is a fallacy. How can it fail when it doesn't even exist? The same JUJU that Sango used to breathe fire from his mouth, the same JUJU that people used to disappear, the same JUJU that people use to change to cats (yet this has never been proven, it is always hearsay). So much JUJU, we can't use it to find the Chibok girls. So much JUJU, they couldn't use the BULLETPROOF against the colonisers and slave takers. We need to wake up. This is 2014. JUJU is a freagn myth. As rampant as it is, you would think it would have been proven at least once. My guy, i am being rational. Believing any of this crap would be IRRATIONAL. |

macof: Calm down juh. Is it that time of the month? I am not choosing to believe the part i want. I am simply being RATIONAL and LOGICAL. I do not believe in myths and i know NIGERIANS lie a lot so why would this case be different. Especially since this is the same case of "them say them say". They have been "saying" for thousands of years yet we CANNOT capture "at least" one of these events on screen. Why would i believe fallacies. 500years ago, we had no camcorders so we would have let it slide. Today we have all sorts of cameras and no one can capture any of this "spiritual" effects. I have not chosen to believe the part i want mister, i simply ensured my folks didn't waste money on my education by utilizing the rational skills i developed. If you choose to let yours lie idle, then that is your own bruhaha |
