Why would they spill oil they can sell for $$$ in the international market . It goes against every economic common sense. The other 2% is usually due to the government sometimes preventing the oil companies from performing periodic maintenance on their infrastructure since since it would mean a shutdown and revenue loss for the country.

Crude oil on the other hand "upstream exp and prod" is a win win situation.

With regards to Nigeria, i would say they are oo. Which other company is better? Maybe they are slacking now but i know they are responsible for most of our long lasting roads and infrastructure. I beieve eko bridge and all those long and old structures were constructed by them. Please don't mention HITECH because i am yet to see em build a long lasting 30yr old road or bridge.

Another empty barrel. One of the numerous "Olodo Graduates" from federal universities. I don't blame you guys. All they taught you in fed univs is just to buy hand outs, read and pass. No knowledge gained whatsover.

If any of you were smart at all, you would know and expect students from private universities to have better GPA's than fed univs. The student teacher ratio is way better than fed univs, the lecturers are not as frustrated as fed univs, the students actually LEARN unlike you olodos that just know how to read and pass.

The way most people have responded on this thread definitely shows that most of you that went to fed univs are truly "UNEMPLOYABLE"  Your critical reasoning skills are lacking!
People score 5.0 GPA's and 4.9ers like pure water in the US all the time. Are the US schools junk? The fact that you made a "pass" in a fed univ is totally your problem. Stop shitting on someone who actually made something of himself.

Look at all these bad belle OLODO federal university grads. You guys are loooosers. I have a family friend that went to IFE during the dayz of the cult and school shutdowns. The guy was barely making a 2/2 back then. After the cult/student union massacre, he left and started all over again. He graduated in the  top tier of his class at MIT. He's up in silicon valley at the moment. I don't want to give too much details cos i believe people know him well. Are you saying that OAU is better than MIT because the guy couldnt make a 2;2 there and ended up blasting in MIT?
Making students fail or intentionally making exams hard just shows how terrible federal universities have become. You need to get that rubbish out of your head. the one that says if you have few 1/1s and 2/1s in your school, then it is a good school. ARRANT NONSENSE.  All of you that went to federal unis only know how to READ AND PASS. I wonder why a lot of people like beefing like this. If students have an "enabling environment" there is the likely hood that they will perform better. The fact that the guy got this from covenant doesn not mean the school is easy as u guys put it.
Would you say the same of American schools? A lot of Nigerians who failed out of Nigerian Universities are getting "Summa Cum Laude" in US schools. Are you saying that OAU or the so-called federal universities are better than American Schools?

Abeg, if you have an enabling environment, students will perform better. Kudos to the school juh.

The rains have not stopped work on the road.

The pace of work on the Chevron Toll Plaza seems to be to be faster than that on the first plaza. In my estimation, I'd say they've gone about 75%.

Johnie, thanks a bunch for all your updates. I "think" the ad by LASG is just a political one. Here's my reasoning : I believe they put it up so that people would think they are actually serious about building this road. This will pave the way for LCC to start collecting tolls. They will claim LASG is about to build the alternative so dont "worry" continue paying the tolls, an alternative is coming. That road may not be built in the next 5 - 10 yrs. I HOPE I'm WRONG

Actually, the guy can have both German and Nigeria passport at the same time . This can be done in two ways
1. If one of his parents is a German citizen at birth.(German citizenship is solely based on parents and not a place of birth .) So if AT BIRTH , one of the parents is German and the other is Nigerian, the child can have a dual citizenship of both countries if he so wishes . One of my cousins hold a dual citizenship of both Germany and Nigeria from birth .
The second way he can have a dual nationality with Germany is as follows -
At the point of naturalization in Germany, you are made to renounce other forms of citizenship u may hold , so u strip urself of the Nigerian citizenship . If you do decide to take the Nigerian citizenship once again ,you can then go through the process of naturalization in Nigeria and after u decide to take up the Nigerian citizenship again , YOU HAVE TO APPLY FOR APPROVAL TO TAKE UP A SECOND CITIZENSHIP IN GERMANY , and if the application is successful , you can then take up the Nigerian citizenship once again . If you do a quick search on Wikipedia or the German nationality website , you will learn more .

THEREFORE , IT'S POSSIBLE THAT THIS DRUG COURIER IS IN FACT A GERMAN AS WELL AS A NIGERIAN CITIZEN !

If that is the case, why is it that "FORMER" Nigerian citizens in Germany were begging the Nigerian embassy to give them visas 2yrs ago. A lot of them were crying because the embassy wouldnt give em visas in time to come home for christmas.

Last time i checked you cant have dual citizenship with Germany. The guy is German and probably requires a visa to come to Nigeria now. (u have to surrender ur passport when u become German) So he is German and not Nigerian. He is not one of us oo.

To answer your first question, if you imported a car and is signified by your name on the Bill of Laden (BL), I don't think you require any dealer before you can register your car for a plate number.
Question two, if you are selling a car with a plate number, it's already registered. So feel free to sell to your siblings, et al.
The point is, if you say you have an imported car, why is your name not on the documents (BL)? It could only mean you bought it off a dealer, and a dealer needs to be registered to be recognized as such by the law. Is there anything bad in that?

There better be a clause allowing individuals to sell whenever, however they want because this will be infringing on our RIGHTS. You can not prevent me from selling/buying. LAGOS state has no right to impose such. LAGOS state can only impose such if i am a COMMERCIAL sales person.
