The most anticipated movie ever premiers tomorrow (tonight if you play your cards right). In Captain America: Civil War, one year after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, an act regulating superhuman activity fractures the Avengers into opposing factions, one led by Steve Rogers(Captain America) and another by Tony Stark(Team Ironman). Which team do you support? I'm #TeamIronMan |

What has 2baba contributed to education that makes him to deserve this They keep letting us know that u can't do or achieve anything in Nigeria without being a rich man and d major reason people(youth) trying to make it anyway and anyhow It's only "Honorary" before you start lambasting the poor guy. Must he build a university first? |

Built2last: Aside the excessive audacity which breeds arrogance and pride with Igbos, This is the part i like about Igbos...Everything is business...let truth be told. Igbos are way ahead in business in Nigeria.
I entered Ladipo market one day and couldnt find one shop owned by a Yoruba man in the two hours i spent there. I think business is genetic for them. can you remember the ''my oga at the top stuff'' while some of us typed on the internet, Aba boys were thinking business. Mbaka spoke against GEJ, few days after, (Mbaka but why T. shirt was all over the market). They seem not interested in white collar jobs like every other tribe. If we have more entrepreneurs, the faster we come out of the corruption in public and civil service.
When i finished NYSC, i was retained in the bank with one Emeka boy..I remember during the interview, one of the panelists said, Emeka, you are supposed to be in Aba or Alaba, what are you doing here? the Igbo jokingly said, its capital am looking for..six years after, the Igbo boy resigned, we never knew he was combining banking with real estate business..on saturdays he was a house searching agent. he told me he sold two houses in Ikoyi and resigned...
Till i left the bank, his salary account was in millions...doing so well in business, the latest he told me last year was that, one of the panelists in that our interview is now his account officer...I just love the business part of them and maybe the way they adore their wives and children. They take family very seriously. Emeka is so wealthy and lavishes his wealth on his wife and 3 boys. Needless to say he inspired me into business and i am doing well too, but not anywhere near Emeka.
Throw them into the Lagoon and see the potentials of that water developed by them. Business is a spirit in them most of us find difficult to appreciate. I made a comment which garnered a little above 1,000 likes. I've always assumed that was the most like comment on NL. Then I saw ur signature and was forced to confirm. I'm igbo and I wish I could keep liking ur comment till it reaches 2,000 likes. Well said sir, well said. #respect |

The 2015/16 English League season will go down in history as one of the most unbelievable. Tottenham's draw tonight confirms Leicester as league winners. adioolayi: The Foxes, a pre-season favourite for relegation, have achieved one of the most unlikely feats in English football history with their first ever top-flight title Leicester City have won the Premier League title to cap a fairytale season in English football, with Tottenham's failure to beat defending champions Chelsea meaning they can no longer be caught. Claudio Ranieri's men could have been crowned on Sunday when they faced Manchester United at Old Trafford, but saw their celebrations delayed after they drew 1-1 with Louis van Gaal's men. However, the Foxes are now Premier League champions after Monday night's 2-2 scoreline at Stamford Bridge, having started the 2015-16 as one of the bookmakers' favourites for relegation with 5,000-1 title odds. After narrowly avoiding relegation last season with a run of seven wins from their remaining nine games, Leicester continued that form into the new season under Claudio Ranieri with just three defeats all season. Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, considered the most likely title contenders, all suffered inconsistent form to leave Leicester and Tottenham to fight for the title in recent weeks. The Foxes have not been positioned lower than second since October and have held on to first place consistently since January, holding off the challenge of Spurs to clinch a first ever top-flight crown. Last Monday's 1-1 draw for Tottenham against West Brom brought Leicester to within three points of sealing their unlikely title win, but now Spurs' collapse at Stamford Bridge has settled the season with two matches to play http://m.goal.com/s/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2016/05/02/23001842/leicester-city-win-the-premier-league-title-as-tottenham
