People are tempted to migrate to America and Europe because of lack of opportunities in Nigeria. Nepotism, corrruption and lack of selfless leadership rob opportunities away from the youths, who then become hell-bent on migrating to USA and other advanced countries. The only potent way of stemming this tide is to encourage the US and Europeans to ban Nigerian political leaders and their families from travelling out of Nigeria, that way they have no choice but to sit at home and fix the problems they created, that way more jobs and opportunities are created and migration becomes less appealing, the USA and the EU becomes happier. The American should take the bull by the horn and ban all Nigeria political leaders and their family members. Deport the ones already there. The EU will follow suit swifly and everybody gains. |
blasted12:Get a visa, hire some thick-heads in black suits and go get him in the USA. You'll be a hero buddy! |
As usual, thread is filled with ostritches with their heads in the sand. Fulani herdsmen are no longer the problem, it is MNK far away in US that is the problem. |
Maxymilliano:FACT! |
Kennyprince:They have the power to reverse themselves if new facts emerge. The supreme court is made up human beings. |
solmusdesigns:Don't bet on it. If Buhari can be president, El rufai and Kwankwaso have very bright chances. |
enemybulldozer:I'm still waiting for a reasonable answer to this. |
I have learnt time and time again, that the success of any endeavour does not usually depend on the naysayers and antagonists but drivers of that enterprise. This is an old time tested principle. Painstaking perseverance always win in the end. Always. The FG knows what to do in 2023 if they want true unity. |
Let them go to Anthony Sani's village compound and feed their cows. |
Why are people interested in the other thread where his FB was taken down than in this one. |
Samakus:We are not quarelling, I am Igbo, be proud tell us your ethnic group. It's a harmless question. |
Ikeg1:Very apt! |
Samakus:What is your ethnicity? |
The source doesn't appear reliable. |
Kneeling down to propose as a man is unAfrican and unIgbo. It means you are transfering the authority God gave you in the bible as a man to the lady. If you support it, then eat the bigger frog by also kneeling to serve palmwine to your wife during traditional wedding. |
Please! Please! I think it is time we renegotiate the existence of this country. Why should a Christian from the East part of the country be denied visa and opportunities because he shares the same passport with some raghead Islamic terrorist who have even commited genocide on them in the 60s and won't let them have their own country? There is where Igbo diasporans should come in. Igbos who have links with the US republican party should educate American policy makers about the difference between Eastern Igbo Christians resident in Nigeria and the Islamist (who even enjoy undermining the Igbo Christians). We can not continue to be painted with the brush with a group of people who won't hesitate wipe out the Igbo Christian Nation if they can push a button to achieve that. I pray that one day an American born Igbo will become the US president and apply pressure on Nigeria for renegotiation of this country. Rulers of nigeria do not listen to common sense, they only listen to greater violence and higher power. Only a greater power possibly armed with nuclear capability can break this country since common sense and peaceful demonstration has failed. Igbo all over the world should strive very hard, maintain excellent move into the political milieu of advanced countries where they can be voted for. They can become more powerful and call Nigerian rulers to order, threaten the wicked rulers of Nigeria if need be, and save the Igbo race from political emasculation and extinction. There is no other way. This is a clarion call. One day the East will have it's breathing space. The suffocation is too much. |
*Hands crossed* |
LordVoldermort:So what's the solution? Why not do everything to ensure that they occupy Aso rock since that will ultimately IPOB as you would love? |
Esseite:The Americans are not fools, they know the difference between the Eastern Igbo Christians and muslims in the North and yorubaland. America Visa officers are even here on NL. |
How the hell did the boko animals take over federal roads? |
If we are to agree with your logic, then IPOB should love Buhari more, since as Buhari marginalizes the Igbos, the Igbos embrace Biafra. |
solmusdesigns:OUK never gave them any assistance, he was only exploring and gallivanting between aso rock and Afara ukwu after promising Buhari he was going to ask IPOB to dissolve in exchange for political gains after he may used to them to win elections. There is a video of him saying that IPOB is useless for Igbo politicians after he won election as a Senator. Stop making comments on issues you are not abreast of. |
Dr Agbo that year with Fr. Edeh. |
200million Euros as ransom? They never wanted the pastor released, they just wanted to behead him. |
supercase1:Igbo should stand neutral in this, even yorubas have asked us to mind our business. We should not interfere, they SW and north will find a way to resolve the matter since the government have declared it illegal since it is not is not allowed in the constitution. |
yanabasee:That man you see there is a hardcore Biafran. Quote me anywhere. |
Mind your business, you do not speak for Igbos. The best position for to take in the Amotekun issue is neutrality, even though we know those who are always against Igbo interest everyday, they are now the ones wearing the shoe and taking the pills. |
Since when did illegality+illegality = Legality. Why not order a fresh rerun in the affected grey areas. |
God is Good still remains the for best me. I have been travelling frequently at least 3 times a year for the past 13 years right from University days and I have suffered all kinds of humiliation from transport companies but GIGM still beats them all in terms of service delivery. If you think I'm joking, try peace mass with their alway-drunk drivers, try Apara line who use antiquated coffins as buses and thugs as drivers, try Okey mass transit whose drivers won't hesitate to park the bus at Ore and disappear if you quarrel with them, leaving travellers stranded, even GUO misplaced my waybill, it took me 3 weeks to trace it and I lost a lot of money. I've seen it all as a frequent traveller and I still maintain the God is Good remains the best. Though the delay of their buses during take-off is an area where they must now improve, I believe that since demise of the founder Ajaero, the son who I heard is now in charge has been struggling to maintain standard, I pray he succeeds. All my family members use their buses. They are more decent, courteous and less prone to accident. Some people here complaining are part of the problem, you book online and on the departure date, you come by 8.00am for a bus schedule to leave by 6.45am leaving many of us who came early stranded. This I have learnt is one of the causes of the frequent delays. Nigerians don't keep to time. I leave Nnewi by 5.00am to meet up with my booked 6.45am bus at Asaba GIGM terminal. I usually get there by 6am latest. I usually pay for their first buses. They are usually the best. I also understand that a lot of their competitors keep fighting them both online and offline. Most of their competitors have adopted several means to survive the GIGM revolution, one of the ways they do that is by stopping by at towns and villages where they have mini-terminals and know that GIGM doesn't have. When GIGM started, every passenger usually gets a free breakfast meal park when you board their buses. I need them to open another terminal in Nnewi and Abule-egba. I will not sit by and let anyone victimize the best transport company in this country, so that other 'riff-raff' bus companies and competitors can rejoice. |
airex:He is right, I won't pay 270k per year as rent if I earn less than 200k per month. I'll find a place with lesser rent. I'm a business man and I don't think it is wise. |
Whiteangel1234:Please stop this self-deceit, you don't speak for Ndigbo. They didn't ask you to speak for them. |
