IVe got another problem capturing signal for Satelite which used to show Go Africa,RTS,Madagascar and others . i dont know if its Eutelsat w3. recently the decorder just lost all the signal for the channels that used to show. could it be that the satelite has been moved or what. somebody to help me plse

W3a (now called Eutel 7a)is still there. Go Africa, Madagascar have moved on but other channels are still there like, Zimbo, MBC, RTS 1, etc.

i recently accesed the signal for BADR 4,6 and the decorder strong 4622x showed that even for Nilesat sig was there in green. fortunatly i scanned the channels and almost all came e.g fox movies but are all showing scrumbled. Any one to help me watch this channels here in Zambia. Thankyou

There are many reasons why one would need to upgrade his/her decoder. Others upgrade because their receiver is misbehaving ie not functioning well. Others upgrade because they want to enjoy new features in the new software release that were not incorporated in the previous release. Others upgrade just for the fun of it.

When you see any frequency with 4 digits eg 4755 it means that it's C band. Any frequency with 5 digits eg 11727 is KU band (or KA sometimes). So in this case 11472 is clearly KU band and your guess is right, Intel7/10 is the one where there is MyTV.

Check for Astra 4A (close to W3a) in your dish setting. Usually this satellite doesnt appear as Sirius 4 in receivers. If there is no Astra 4A use any KU band satellite, input the details manually and it will work.

SULIEMAN3: gus pls to upgrade decorder what does it mean.

It means changing the software version in your receiver. Different software versions have different features and depending on your needs you may need to change.

Kenya seizes pirate DStv pay-TV kit

Kenya’s Copyright Board (KCB) has raided private homes in and around the capital Nairobi, and confiscated illegal satellite receivers being used to tune into DStv broadcasts. The local police were aided by staff from Multichoice Kenya.

Some 27 DStv smartcards, 25 decoders and 21 modulators were confiscated in the raids. Two of the suspects were arraigned in court and released on 1 million shillings [$12,000] and 500,000 shillings [$6,000] bond and a surety of the same amount. “This is the highest bond a

But it work well on nilesat, multi tv. but if i connect my 4663x it will scan.

Try going to Dish setting and check if LNB Frequency is set at 9.750/10.600 and not 9.750/10.750. Some receivers freeze when scanning if set to 9.750/10.750

I did a blind scan on nilesat and l got arriadia. Whenever i search for that name on google it take me to this site www.arryadia.com which was d normal spelling from ur post.

on that site it show they show live epl. Am waitin for d weekend to confirm if its d same as arriadia on nilesat. Any clue?

Check if its Arryadia TNT or Arryadia 2 because there is another Arryadia that doesn't broadcast EPL.

This has to do with broadcasting rights. The BBC and Sky Sports are host broadcasters. For the 2009–10, 2010-11 and 2011-12 season, the BBC showed an evening highlights show, one leg of each semi-final and the final live. From 2012-13, the BBC will only show an evening highlights show for each round of matches after losing the rights in 2012. Sky broadcast at least one match from every round live, and from the 2012-13 have exclusive rights to broadcast both semi-finals and the final live after agreeing a three-year broadcast rights agreement in 2012. So I feel we will have full coverage from the semifinal stage.
