@ tox- what i ve in mind is to make the group look superior so that more people will register and start contributing in order to get accepted in the group. I met someone yesterday and i was so impressed with his achievement and confident in satellite. Tox he got all this from all of us here. He is about to extend his 3m obirtron dish to 4.5m with aluminium foil which he showed me. Believe me he visit this forum more than me and u yet he has not posted 'HI'. It was on his hand a saw a phone wrist watch which he imported from china and there ll be so many of his type visiting our thread. So why cant we make the group to be tempted enough for them. Mr Gem- look at u, posting an ip port in an open forum like this and u expect it to last, look ftb is not like fta, u just sign a death warant to that ip. Gond work!

Mr Gem - u got me confused if not for tox. Mr Gem u re in naija delta area now not at western naija,oh yes zain is working for me too here in ph. But our brothers in lagos area re complaining enitan,gofitech,tox even u,ll witness the same wen u go back.                 zain is down in lagos but still alive in ph. If by God Grace i was able to achieve etisalat and mtn, i ll update you guys. Since zain collected their gprs at my residential area other network that has gprs there no go go for free. But no matter what the outcome is, it most be stickly for the guys in the group or nairaland fta, please na beg i dey beg una so that this things go dey last for us.

@ enitan - my brother why u like fake receivers sef? Well, just change the signal i.c. It is located at that block at the back of the tuner, if it did not work,then change the tuner. I wish u good luck. But it works most times.

@ Nash - just go ahead and grab the receiver cos that is original product. Unlike what we ve here, even our so called original here re all clone. Ignore the sticker or made in china thing cos everything may be different. U re even lucky, who ll bring that kind of receiver in nigeria market to sell with that high price, where u ll get the same product for like us$40.

I dont think theres need for showtime card for now, lets continue to enjoy the jujucard since more card re coming out. @ fopros - if ur receiver is not coming on again the best u can do is to look for rs-232s cable and try to load original software, but if ur strong is not original, welcome league of fried receivers like myself, enitan and some other guys. Just take a look at the back of the receiver and if theres NO (MADE IN CHINA) then u re welcomed.

@ enitan - visit satmac for mytv file. @ ecowas4all - the file should work witth 53x though i ve not tried it.

@ badaru we need more info about this card. From what i gathered from jujukemist the card stays on without update for a period of 6 months. @ enitan if this card can last for six months without before upgrade, then it means that juju card still has a long way to go, so i think i still prefer the juju card + echo or star.

But the price of the card is the same as echolink + jujucard. Jujukemist plz update the house about the card since u ve tested it.

@ George D - the only reason why ur dish falls is because of the way u arranged those lnb. For instance, i use to get 22'w when my dish is facing 18'w in the other way round i can also get 22'w when my dish is facing 27.5'w. As u can see the arrangement of ur lnb effects ur elevations when u re using multiple lnb's. As for the flat bar been vertical,thats the only way u can gain elevation down to 78'E but the jack clamp has to it hold at the extreme. U can call me for assistance, or i might post an examplary pic. Good luck.

jsc sports bug free out in satmac, download,load and confirm for us. U guys are doing a great job there. ( some bugs fixed)

@ capitainus - that was my only way of telling him that i ve been in this type of mess so many times b4 i got a solution, plz dont get me wrong. About the flat bar extender, i only use it when i want to move the dish downward like 55 degrees west but it should be vertical not horizontal, like in George case. @ badaru/adewest - am having problems with art and showsport signal during the dark hrs. Around 6.30pm the signal ll start dropping and went off completely b4 8pm. But today i went back and re-adjuct the settings and lnb and as of 9pm showsport is still up with signal strength of 40% in old strong with a little breaking though with good visibility but art is 38% and breaks more than showsprt. The lnb is fuji. Moreover, metrodigital cable station also experience picture breaking though very mild and almost un-noticeable with their 6m dish. I want to know if theres a way out of this problem.

I think I'll side with Captainus on the issue of the jack. It has to do with the length. So guys, get yourself a 36inch jack.

the jack in the picture is the normal jack that most people use.

one more thing, remove that flat bar extender and fix the jack to the dish direct. I ve installed so many motorized comstar 2.4m dish till date to acquire a lot of knowledge about it.

Open ur jack and remove the limit device inside , by unscrewing one of the screw completely,slack the second screw, then shift the device out of the stopper and tighting back the slacked screw. 2. In pas710ku position, if the lnb with di-electric plate is the one on the third, then that might effect ur elevation. Above all i dont know whether the jack refuse to make further movement downward at that position, if so follow my first option. @ jossybless - i dont know about the bug free, all i know is that am watching mytvafrica channel after loading the patch.

Etv-telemedia showed arsenal vs burn from sixty something minutes and was about to show eveton match from supersport 3 before they went off. Me i tire for all those feed chnnels abi na where all the satellite tv channels in south africa dey test-run their progrmms.

                   sir, u dont ve to depend only on srsupport. Sat-mac is good and fast in posting upgrade for the supported receivers. I also hail olofofo for uploading the upgrade by that time of night. U can visit the site for easy download.

              thank u for the receiver classification. Now even if i dont see the model of my receiver i can download anyone that fall in its class and wam!! it works. The same apply to everyone , dont just wait or continue searching for ur receiver model number, just refer to the last page of season 2 and get the class where ur receiver falls, even if echolink or starsat once they re of the same class of chips it ll work for u.
