i ALMOST DIED literally in the second final against ATM.

In the first I watched with my neighbor. No light and his gen had issues, so he watched in my house.

The next final LA Undecima, my heart was palpitating so hard when it was extra time. and I was alone. I didnt want to risk an heart attack at a young age as it was beating so hard and fast. I just switched off the TV and closed my eyes.

Fortunately I woke up just before Ronaldo took his penalty. But missed that of Lord Vasquez.

He's had a rough start to life at Bayern with injuries and lack of game time. But he is one hell of a defender. I fully expect him to 'blow' this season if he stays fit.

The French Maldini thing is just a reference to his strong defensive abilities and the fact that they both play the same LB/CB position. We also call Alaba the Black Beckenbauer. It's nothing serious.

Lucas Hernandez is fast becoming my second favorite Bayern player. Another masterclass from the French Maldini yesterday. First to every ball and winning duels all over the pitch. A pure, old-school stopper. No be that greedy false '4' wey dey masquerade as CB. It was also good to see him work on his ball-playing skills and try bringing it out from the back. If he can improve on that aspect of his game, then we have a MONSTER on our hands.
