The ban was a response to our conversation about Ings oh! Nothing serious or harmful and the worst part is that I am not sure Moderators review these incidents. I have mailed them twice but it feels like I may have to wait my ban out.

I had to spend 48 hrs wandering in the wilderness I would never forget that feeling of restlessness at not being able to post or comment when i wanted to. Being banned for the first time was a revealing experience.

I think most people are having a hard time understanding what i said. i admitted Benzema had a good season but saying he was the main reason Real won the league is doing a great disservice to guys like Casemiro and Courtois.

Obviously it's easier to make a case for an attacker than a DM and GK. But the reductive method of using goals and assists to rate some players over others even when they play different positions isn't going to cut it every time. There are intangibles even the most advanced ratings system can't measure. Even those measured are not accorded the corresponding weight.

IMO, Casemiro and Courtois offered more 'value' than Benzema this season. The same 21 goals Benzema scored this season was only good enough for 3rd place last year so what changed?

The team had one of the poorest conversion rates in the league, of which Benzema was the biggest culprit. He scored but he definitely should have scored more. Real were creating chances but their attackers were not getting on the scoresheet. It got to a point the defenders and the midfielders were the ones chipping in the goals. In the biggest games, it was their defense that came to their rescue. Casemiro was MOTM in games against Sevilla, Atletico and Barca. Ramos was making last-ditch tackles and clearing balls off the line at one end and scoring headers and pks at the other end. Courtois was preventing wins from turning into draws. But no let's give it to the Drip King.

I actually started by supporting the German national team at international competitions at all levels. I still remember watching Toni Kroos play for the first time against England on a Sunday morning at the 2007 U-17 World Cup.

An handful of German players were playing for Bayern at that time, one of which was Bastian Schweinsteiger who was one of my favourite players. So i developed an interest in local German football and started following the league. I was actually a Barca fan at this time and Bayern were like my second team and then sometime around 2011, i made the switch.
