Happy birthday to me and everyone celebrating their birthday today. Zinedine Zidane and Patrick Vieira are just 2 of the amazing people born on this day. Sadly no current Bayern player sha but nothing spoil! |
Happy 47th birthday to Zinedine Zidane, one of the game's greatest players (and managers) and more importantly a birthday mate! Many more success except against Bayern. |
Unlimited22:Thanks, bro. It's been a while. I trust you are doing fine yourself. |

In other news, my man JK became a father for the first time this week. Baba keeps on assisting on and off the pitch ![]() Even in an hectic season in which he played every single minute in the Bundesliga, the boy still get enough in the tank to score. Eshin l'omo! ![]() |
Now this is starting to get ridiculous. I can almost see these posts dripping with hatred for Hummels. You might as well blame him for corruption, yahoo-yahoo and everything wrong in this world. Omo, the agenda no be here. |
I came here to laugh and so far i'm having a good time ![]() Keep it up, guys! |
Hummels is a better CB than any of Sule and Lucas. The only problem is his lack of consistency. But we all know when he turns up, he turns up big time. Sule would always give you a 7/10 every game. Gets the job done with no frills. Unremarkable yet efficient. Same thing with Lucas. But with Hummels, he's a 9 today, 4 the next game and then a 7 the game after. You never know what you are going to get with him. So it's easy to see why the coach would want to go with those 2 over the course of a season. Consistency over quality. Lucas and Sule, despite their obvious potential still dey learn work for where Hummels dey. |
Hello, guys! It's been a while. Man's been too busy or rather too lazy to post . Now, where do i start from? It's disappointing seeing some of the comments on Hummels. Someone even went as far as saying he was to blame for the club's decline. He has his brainfart moments but he is still a very good CB. One of the best in the business. After been frozen out of the NT, he took it on the chin and helped Bayern secure the double with some superb performances towards the end of the season, winning the coach's trust. He wasn't exactly kicked out as some people are trying to make us believe. He asked to be sold as he wasn't guaranteed to be a starter next season. Bayern are never going to bench an 80 million signing in Lucas. Not in this world. He's made me nearly pull out my hair in frustration at times (oh those headers!) but i'm going to miss him a lot. Thank you, Mats and all the best except against us of course. |
I just knew something like this was going to happen. Na Lewy, i even dey fear for that game with all the late kicks and stamping. Oh God! Sometimes I just can't help but think we are cursed. These things wey dey always happen to us no be oju lasan. Kilode, shey awa nikan ni? Well, na time for some shakushaku be that ![]() |
Joshua Kimmich will be making his 100th Bundesliga appearance against Schalke today. Centurion. |
Dortmund throwing away a 3 goal lead in the last 15 mins of the game. Gladbach r@ped at home by Hertha. I love this league!! Over to you, boys! |
PlainJAY:You should have seen how happy I was yesterday. It actually felt a lot like it was my own birthday. I guess it's a case of transferred affection and more. I liked Schweini a lot, so when he left Bayern, I naturally gravitated towards the player I felt mirrored him in a way. But that's only part of it. Some would call it an obsession but I could watch him on a loop for days. It's a bit weird considering he plays in a rather unfashionable position and is not a superstar as say CR7, Messi or Neymar. He is not a wizard capable of performing outrageous feats with the ball and neither does he possess the looks and charms of an Hollywood movie star. He is just Joshua Kimmich, the guy next door. I'm never one to fawn over celebrities and stars but then you meet some people, everyday people and otherwise and you are like wow! Forget the hype, this guy is one of a kind. What's more, he is his own biggest critic. Whenever he has a not too good game, he is the first to admit. He is Bayern's best player these days and I'm not exaggerating. |
Me am not losing any sleep over Neuer's injury. With that our leaky defense in front of him, na wetin e see, e go catch. It's not like he was in great form before he got injured sef. I'm willing to give Ulreich a chance. The guy try for us last season but that error against Real overshadowed everything. Muller's suspension just makes the team selection for Kovac easier. I wouldn't start him even if he was available. We need to accept the fact that he is past his best. Plenty of effort and hustle, but not much in the way of end product. Martinez should start in his place at Anfield to add a much needed protection for that suspect backline. James can start the return leg at home. A front 3 of Coman, Lewy and Gnabry is non-negotiable. Ribery on bench duty and I don't want to see Hummels anywhere near that pitch. No one is even talking about Liverpool's RB problem. TAA is injured. Fabinho will probably start in midfield and no Clyne. I'm just looking forward to seeing Coman and Alaba take turns in tormenting Old man Milner. Fingers crossed. |
