I am searching for a true Christ doctrine church, i must attend a fellowship.
Its good for my kids to be among other believing kids like them.

truthislight: you cant register a church or be registered as part of the world christian association if you dont sign on to trinity.

You cant pastor a formal registered church and go against trinity, it as simple as that.

Most of the guys that come out to make argument for trinity just cant help it, unless they are ready to loose their jobs and leave registered christian churches affiliates to world christian association.

Its really a pity.

They need to grow more love for God/truth.
Ohh, so one needs to sign an agreement with this doctrine? They made it an obligation in oder to for it to be sealed shocked
What can one do then? Itsnt it wrong to worship in a place where they they do not teach pure doctrine of Christ? This reminds me of...(the god of this world has blinded thier minds......) waooh, kill/force people to believe what is not in the bible shocked shocked

frosbel: Heres a litmus test for this Sunday .

If you do not believe in the Trinity , call your pastor aside and let him know with your reasons, scripture and historical fact.

I can assure you not only will this so called loving pastor suddenly change towards you , they will warn you to change and if you refuse, you will be kicked out of their church , branded a heretic and other members will be told to avoid you.

They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God - John 16:2

In fact we are lucky to be living in a time like this, in the old days if we lived in Europe, the authorities would have burned us at the stake as a public warning to those who reject thier pagan creeds.

Its horrible the world defence of this doctrine. I know i will be look at at not part of them. If i had tried to refute his claims. But that was not really my fear. I just didnt because Paul warns women to keep silent in the church. It seems all the churches around my small village are trinitarians hehehehe.....its hard for the few of us, but God is our
stranght. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

The bolded at the end of ur article was an intelligent question the trinitarians can't answer.

Its a world wide doctrine, i believe, majority of professing Christians are trinitarians. My pastor preached this doctine on sunday, i was not agree with him, but didnt call his attension. Because Paul did not Instruct women to speak in the church grin grin

In a sermons radio i usually listen different preachers. alot of them so much hold on to this doctrine. But this does not make it biblical, they just can decieve the crowd its a mistery that God is 3 in one (1) While the bible teaches otherwise.

LagosShia: Moses had a brother and sister.Jesus did not have!!! cheesy

Jesus rode a boat,Moses did not!!! grin

Jesus (as) fed people with bread using miracle,Moses did not. shocked

Moses (as) was buried and Muhammad (sa) was also buried.that is relevant and significant because the alleged "resurrection" of Jesus is a major belief in christianity and one event christians identify Jesus with while muslims believe Jesus did not die at all and there was no resurrection!

i can really think of more if i try to.

Plappville is foolish.are we here to look for striking similarities or irrelevant and insignificant similarities to fulfill the prophecy? how are prophecies are fulfilled and identified? apart from both Jesus and Moses being jews, something that can also be said of more prophets after Moses,i see nothing similar between the two men.and the prophecy does not necessarily say the prophet unto like Moses (as) must be jew.

you honestly do not deserve to be replied.
The bible told us they were were out in the desert, and forty years in transit! God make food fall from heaven, This was through Moses. (Exodus 12:2-4, 12-15)

Jesus had brothers. Luke 8:20 Someone told him, "Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you."

Luke 8:19 Now Jesus' mother and brothers came to see him, but they were not able to get near him because of the crowd.

Both Moses and Jesus faces a cases of wicked king (Pharaoh and Herod) who tried to do away with them as infants: their escape was by miracle.

The similarities are so bold, but as a Muslim, been despirate to fit in Mohammed, you keep blind eyes to them.

Deuteronomy 18:18 I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.

Who is the commander? and who is to carrying out the command? TWO INVOLVE HERE NON?

When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner."

They believed Him as a prophet!

Matthew 21:11 The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."

Couldn't they have called him God instead?

Luke 7:16 They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us," they said. "God has come to help his people."

Why do we now change it?

John 4:19 "Sir," the woman said, "I can see that you are a prophet.

The woman didn't know Him so well?

Enigma: Bros, I agree with most of these except I think the last sentence should probably be tempered.

There are a number of senses in which the word "brother" could be used legitimately even in relation to non-Christians. Purely, as human beings it could be fair to refer to another as "brother"; compare also "my Naija brother", "my African brother", "my Igbo brother" or in the case of our West Indian friends "me bredren". smiley

As I said, I agree with most of your post and I certainly agree that it is the spirit of anti-Christ that makes a person deny that Jesus IS God - no matter that the person may be well intended.

cool
You are not treating the Revelation verse you qouted, I had love to be cleared what it means please.

"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

How is Jesus the ‘Root' & ‘Offspring’ of David? what does this really mean?

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Jesus God? – Logical Questions That Need Answers by plappville(f):
To all trinitarians....
Acts 2 The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost and Peter Addresses the Crowd: Tell me if Peter, Christ apostle Told the crowd that Jesus was God.

14 Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: “Fellow Jews and all of you who live in Jerusalem, let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15 These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! 16 No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 “‘In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in the heavens above
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.’[s] Romans 10:13 In the name of Jesus Christ.[/s]
Now take note:
22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this:Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men,put him to death by nailing him to the cross. 24 But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. 25 David said about him:

Did you see the word "CREDITED"? and again, "THROUGH Him"? Lets continue.....Peter still convincing them of Who JESUS REALLY IS......

29 “Fellow Israelites, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. 30 But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on "oath" that he would place one of his descendants on his throne. 31 Seeing what was to come, he spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. 32 God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. 33 Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said,

“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
35 until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”’[f]
36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

You can see that Peter didn't influenced the crowd, He truelly told them who Jesus is, He didn't tell them in anyway that Jesus is "God" but drag thier attention back to David for a proof.

What does a descendant means? One whose origin is traced in a line from another. Jesus was traced from DAVID. God promised David He will make Jesus sit on His throne as clearly seen.

So How is it that Peter didn't make this same error you are making? Search ur scripture very well, do not hold on to what you have been made to believe, by misunderstanding few scriptures, but hold on to what the bible teaches about Christ.

Enigma: 12 “Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
First of all, did you read that Jesus claiming He is the Offspring of a natural man "DAVID"? so what does this Offspring means.
Offspring means when children inherit same or similar features from their mother and father.

The verse 12 of the above, God has sent Jesus to speak out, Jesus told us, He does nothing of His own authority.
Jesus was not claiming He was the true Speaker, even though it appears that He is the speak. See what He says: John 5:30 "I (Jesus)can do nothing on my own authority; as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me. He pass the Message God gave him to John. Just like you can see below, He also said He knows not the hour or day of his coming. When His father instructed Him, He does do/act in place of His Father, this doesn't mean we have to confused these words as directing to HIMSELF. You will see what Peter told the Crowd in on the Day of Pentecost, He didn't make mistake at all.

Matt 24:36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,(HIMSELF) but only the Father. (HIS GOD)

I got saved after talking to her,she set me down and I poured my heart out.She prayed we went to church together and one thing she told me was that "you know, you don't need a millionaire for a husband, you don't need a man in suits for a husband but what you need is a man Who is a born again Christian, with that his status don't matter.your safe if you choose one of those kind."

I never looked back,I lost my worldly friends, even the guy stopped contacting me,it wasn't easy but I made through by his grace so I guess being this far with God,trials awaits but I have to keep the faith.
Thats why you re called today, God call sinners to repentance, but not all are privillaged to have this grace, Only those called.
Alot of people have heard the Gospel uncountable times, yet would give deaf ears to it, its because they are under the curse of Satan:

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God

And Christ made it plain that convertion is not by our own power, So It is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.

For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up. -John 6:44

For God said to Moses, "I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose." for it. -Romans 9:15,16
For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him.- Philippians 1:29

obadiah777: IF YOU GET TO UNDERSTAND PAULS DEFINITION OF CHURCH, THEN YOU WILL BE COMFORTABLE WITH HIS SUGGESTION. PAULS DEFINITION OF CHURCH IS NOT SITTING IN A BUILDING WITH 10,000 PEOPLE ALL WEARING THEIR BEST ATTIRES AND LISTENING TO ONE MAN. I THINK I SEE THIS IS WHY MODERN WOMEN HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PAUL. THEY WANT TO BE A PART OF THE WHOLE JOLLOFMENT IN MODERN DAY CHURCH. WHEN PAUL MEANS CHURCH, HE MEANS WALKING AROUND FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY WEARING RAGS AND HAVING TO DEPEND ON THE GOODWILL OF OTHERS FOR HIS FOOD WHILE HE TRAVELS AROUND WITH HIS FELLOW SAINTS SPREADING THE WORD TO THE WORLD. SCRIPTURE SAYS 'WHERE TWO OR MORE ARE GATHERED IN MY NAME THERE WILL I BE'. THAT IS THE REAL CHURCH. SCRIPTURE SAYS ' GO TO THE HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS AND TELL THE PEOPLE TO COME INTO MY HOUSE'. THIS IS THE REAL CHURCH. WALKING ON THE STREETS AND LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO CONVERT. THIS IS HOW IT WAS DONE THEN BEFORE THE ROMAN EMPIRE IN THE 12000s DECIDED TO START ERECTING BUILDINGS CALLED CHURCHES. THE TEMPLES THEY HAD BACK IN THOSE DAYS WERE ONLY FOR LEVITICAL SACRIFICES AND ONLY THE LEVITES COULD GO IN. SO MY WHOLE POINT IS I DONT THINK WOMEN WILL BE ARGUING TO BE A PART OF A TRAVELLING PACK OF BEDRAGGLED HUNGRY MEN WHO GO UP AND DOWN TO PREACH THE GOSPEL AND IF A WOMAN IS BRAVE ENOUGH TO, THEN SHE SHOULD BE SILENT WHILE THE MEN HANDLE THE PREACHING. THOSE WERE PATRIARCHAL TIMES. THESE ARE MATRIARCHAL TIMES WHICH ARE A SIGN OF THE FALL OF MAN. SCRIPTURE SAYS THAT

JEREMIAH 31 VS 32 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

If we are to hold on to the word "Silent" i think women will not even make suggestion or even contribute in anything in the church. But looking at the gift of the Holy spirit which is given to both man and woman, i come to understand what PAUL meant.

okeyxyz: Nice write-up, Sorry I'd taken so much time to reply. Terribly busy.
As regards the issues you'd raised, The fact that jesus appeared to a woman or women first, I don't see any spiritual significance here except that she was the first witness of the resurrected jesus. Did her seeing jesus first reveal any spiritual/christian principle? My answer is no! perhaps it was a witness of him rising on the third day, but have we learnt anything of christ by this event besides testifying that he is risen? Again, answer still is no!
Anybody can experience christ or the gift if the holy spirit, but that does not make such a person a leader and teacher of doctrine in the church. The gift of the holy-spirit is a GIFT, it does not entitle a person to a position of authority, though these authority
positions come with powers of the holy spirit. The office of a pastor, prophet, evangelist, etc is about telling good doctrine from bad(No, i don't mean righteousness from sin ), and men, i know, have a more mindset of right & wrong than women, women tend to
want to be involved with a thing that is proven to work while men tend to go a lot on logic & possibilities. The offices of authority are about making judgment of matters even though they obviously work & seem right(And I refer again to the story of Adam & Eve ).
Women should be partakers of doctrine after such doctrine is approved by men, A woman should not introduce new doctrine/logic to church. Yes, I know, It's sexist, that's how the secular world attacks christianity, deriding it as a man's religion, saying it is
misogynist, etc. Well, that's the way it is and I owe no apologies about this, people now assume that christianity should appease our human sentiments and "christians" are now ashamed of their faith. But the truth still remains that: anybody who believes himself to be christian, then he must conform("take-up his cross & follow" ) and not the other way
round. The gospel has never promised to be at peace with our values, but somehow that is what virtually everybody expects. This is an "anti-christ" spirit.
When Paul says a woman should be quiet, it doesn't mean literal "quiet", it simply
means that she should not dictate the direction the church goes, or what values the church adopts, else, she's more likely to be mislead. If you are preaching doctrine that is already established to up-and-coming/new members or outsiders, that's not taking
authority, you are simply passing a message across. Likewise for gifts of the holy spirit.
Thank you very much, i get it clearer this time. Christ kept a good relationship with Women in the NT, and this was forbiden in the OT. This alone is Freedom to women. But at thesame time He never made Women Head over a man as clearly seen in the scripture. God bless you for taking your time.

He is the Head of the Church, so as Husband is the Head of his wife.

The question on how one can receive the is very Important, or else His/her Christianity could be in vain (I Cor. 15:12-19) everone needs this Gift, but not everyone recieve the "tongue gift". The all gifts are important. You have done well not to have pretended. Hold tight to that which You have recieved and by Ur fruit, you shall be known.

Yes, but why is the tongue speaking the most given "Gift"?

By the way, Must "ALL" speak in tongues? Paul plainly states otherwise? We should Remove from our thinking the notion that every Christian must speak in tongues to prove that they have received God’s Spirit.

There is not a single place in The Bible that says you must speak with tongues as evidence you have received “the baptism of the Holy Spirit.” also, Nowher does it say, (by their tongues you shall know them,) but rather, “by their FRUITS you shall know them” (Matt. 7:20). Lets stop twisting Scriptures.
