JJYOU:
i wont say what i think of this man here. you have others ahead of you. you are a young girl with responsibility. he should take money from your other sister that is the unnamed business. you know what they are like. he thinks you make money like the other lady.

as others have said just take off your sim card and get a new one. you don't owe him. let him continue with his pools. as for him calling your hubby, get your mum to make him stop that. that is out of order. he should be ashamed of himself. this is abuse of priviledge. don't bother talking to him so he doesn't mis-quote you
JJYOU You got the whole joke, but that other sister is even less concern about him, she won't give him a din kobo, mum is too old she has sword him to find a job and a place of his own he wouldn't listen. Dad was a very hard working man befor he passed away so no body else to talk to him.

As for the phone number i will change mine, but hubby can't because it's an official line, am afraid he will continue to contact hubby as soon as he discovers i ve change my line. ((((pain in the ass))))

ifyalwayschange your numbers and your hubbys own, send him whatever you want/feel like giving him monthly without disclosing your number to him and keep praying for him.His your brother and you both are Africans, you really can't do much here
Why is the younger brother workinghuh? i am not his boss that i will ve to continue giving him mone monthly, u re not getting me i am tired of him.

he is not the only brother i ve but he is the only one that has refused to work simple.

abujabooks:
Some Nigeria men want 2 be sure that you can have kids.

I don't believe in it.
A guy that can condition his woman to get pregnant or else no marriage does not wort it.

undecided that is just me.

But my dear pray to God for ur situation cos it's not a very easy one.

I think this is not a good way to encourage ur wife to get pregnant, when a woman is stressed up with this kind of condition, she will hardly get pregnant

bacos stress can prevent a woman from been pregnant, so u can see ur man is not helping matters.

Have u both gone for a check up to be sure of fertility, huh? if yes why waiting get married and relax ur mind the good love will bless u like every other mother out there,

Family › Re: Children Raised In Nigeria Are Better? by plappville(f): 2:17pm On Oct 31, 2008
spoony:
Its true that it depends on who is raising up the child and how, however the environment does play huge role also!
You might try your best to be a good parent, be example of good behaviour, but then the kid goes to school, see other mates (how they disrespect their teachers) and plays outside of school with them too and wants’ to be ‘cool’ and ‘in’ and not laughed at.
Here in Uk is huge criminality between teenagers, almost every week kid is being stabbed by other kids (London).
Most families I know is planning to send their kids to NIG when they reach 15 or so, for couple years, to get the sense of schooling/environment back home. That should give them nice lesson!
I’d miss my boy dearly but I do want him to experience his own country in his childhood. The he can go to UNI in Europe, if he’s up for it.
I agree with u, parents may do their best but when kids go to school they learn diffrent things, they are told in school to report they parents if they beat them, u know it's not really a big beat, one can hit a child at the butus just to correct the child, u won't believe that ur child will go report that u beat him.

What about this dam hallowee thinghuh do they do it in 9ja no no no, i ve never seen that, but here kids do wear hallowee clothes.

Each morning when i go to drop my kid in the nursery i use to pass in front of a collage where u will see 10,12 -15  yrs children smoking outside.

This can't happen in 9ja, even if they do it they will hid it, becos here moking is becoming a normal thing as parents do smoke in front of their infant children.

the law has given upper hand to kids, and this is affecting their parents.

Family › Re: Is It Right To Be A Second Wife? by plappville(f): 2:01pm On Oct 31, 2008
Thank God that doesn't exist here, but even if i was to get married in naija i will never welcome that ideal, why should my husband think of getting a second wife at the first place.

They are not always friendly to each other it's wrong to accept to be a second wife.

I want to rock my husband alone oooo just like this till old age Lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllsssssssssssssssssssssss.

I am planing my baby boy first birtday by the end of november, this is a very important moment in the life of kids even if they are not very aware of what the occasion is. I don't know how cost it is to celebrate kids birthday in nigeria as i ve never experienced kids party while in 9ja.

U will have to do some animating creation all over the enviroment where the occasion will take place, buy her a very beautiful clothes as that happens to be her special day.

U may try to video it becos ur baby will be glad to view her first birthday on a screen when she will become aldult, this is a great memory.

You have heard enough from other members, the earlier the better for u, don't die in silent go and express ur feeling to her, but be sure u are not just atracted by her beauty alone, as outside beauty is not all that counts in a relationship.

GOOD LUCK.

so a man will help until his momma comes right? that is hypocrite. continue to be helpful to your wife even with momma being around.

karma, lol i think they are afraid too. you know if you refuse to help your wifey then quarrel start. she then gives you a good sacasm which made you slap her in the front of the kids. ha! off too the phone to dial 911 you are in soup obe ata ni grin
911 IS THE ONLY REASON WHY MOST 9JA MEN ABROAD DO HELP THEIR WIFE, THEY ARE SCARED NOT TO HAVE A FIGHT WITH THEIR WIFE OVER THIS ISSUE, OR ELSE A REAL 9JA MAN WILL NEVER HELP HIS WIFE AT HOME.

MY PARENTS WERE ONCE IN THIS CATEGORY.

IN THOSE DAYS, A 9JA MAN WILL GO MAKING MONEY FOR HIS FAMILY WHY HIS WIFE TAKES CARE OF THE HOME,

IF UR HUBBY NO HELP U AND THIS RESULT TO FIGHT TELL ME WHERE YOU GO SEE 911 CALL FOR 9JAhuh

THE THING NO GO FIT STOP BUT I THINK SAY MAJORITY OF DEM DON DEY PUT EFFORT TO HELP.

MODERN 9JA WOMEN DO WORK SO THIS SYSTEM DOES NO LONGER EXIST.

TRY HELP IN DOMESTIC MY 9JA MEN.
