Romance › Re: Is Maintaining Her Viginity A Crime? by plappville(f): 12:35pm On Nov 21, 2008
lauradovey:
@Everyone

Thanks for your contributions.

My friend is a Virgin, she has always been like that, too religious about virginity, she is always saying pre-marital sex is a sin, blah blah blah, I can tell you she is truly a virgin!

And she is standing on been a virgin till her wedding night, my only concern is she loves this guy too much and she showed him all of it, but the guy doesnt really believe he said Her love is a conditional one ( about refusing being deflowered), He said love is meant to be UNCONDITIONAL

I really don't think, we should allow guys to know the extent of our love!

I have already told my friend to prepare her heart for heartbreak, because It will come soon!

What do you think?
My friend is a Virgin, she has always been like that, too religious about virginity, she is always saying pre-marital sex is a sin, blah blah blah, I can tell you she is truly a virgin!
Since she is religious, let her put this whole thing in prayers and stop worrying herself, let her stop worrying that her guy will leave her simply because she refused him after all if the guy cannot wait maybe someone else can wait.

I don't think is wise to cage our daughters, we could lecture them with the method member
@ abujabooks parents used, i can remember vividly well that my mum used to tell me to always becareful not to fall for any man until certain age. she told me the complications and i listen to her.

Parents should not stop talking with they daughters, but that does not mean u should watch her everywhere she goes.

The male lesson teacher stuff wasn't a good ideal, if she was really scared that her daughter don't mingle with other guys outside she wouldn't ve employed a male teacher.

My bro was aptly named. I called him destroyer when we were kids grin. I didn't like my name in highschool because there were about 4 people in the school with that name ughhh. I wanted something like Oscar or Maximillian grin grin Yeah didn't quite take with everyone undecided [/color]
My own name was something with stronge meaning. I think it has to do with a past bad event or so.
I hate when i was called by this name because of it's negetive meaning, it means, My enemies are more than my friends shocked how could one be happy that his enemies are more than his/her friends? i wonder why i should be bearing a weird name like that, i had to change it to (a sent smelling flower) which does really match my person and appearance.

(Maximillia) Maxime is my son's name smiley

Point is she doesnt deserve the hard time you're giving her. many people on NL have gone through the same and even made post/thread on it, why is it an issue now? undecided
She can't understand, i wear my shoe and i know where it pinches me. so it's of no use trying and trying to make her understand, it's my problem, i felt disclosing it here might help reduce the stress in my head but "no" some fellow in NairaL will TRY to worsen things by giving u bad advice and insults sad
