Buy new one with money you have by paying in installment. Look for keke distributors that allow for such, and YES there are! Buying old one is likely going to give you issues. |
Lanrelagboi:Mark my words,Tag me,Tinubu will never become Nigerian president, let him spend as much as he wants! |
bicoloratrite9:Of course he did,using THUGS! |
BadNews:You saw what I see! can you imagine! |
BePrepared:You are hilarious, using winners chapel prophetic greeting 'more than a conqueror' here! |
Not necessary! Learn something else! |
Rastaramsey:Because you don't really understand what he is saying!!! |
IPIGMODS:You hide behind your keyboard and type trash! Am too focused to be distracted by people like you otherwise I would have tracked and geolocate you, deal with you so that others can learn! |
IPIGMODS:You are a FOOL! |

I will advice strongly you use Windows subsystem for Linux known as wsl. With it you can virtually anything you want on a Linux OS. It does not get in the way of your Microsoft Windows. It easy to use. You can develop apps with it. You can do lots of stuff with wsl. You can use different Linux distributions on your Windows machine once you download wsl. Thank me later on this. |
Playermayweda:It works on mobile well if you do the following 1. Write a responsive CSS code using media query 2. Make it a progressive web app (PWA) by including a service worker file and a manifest.json file in your project root. If you want to turn your web app to a mobile without writing a separate codebase (in kotlin, swift, reactnative or flutter) then turn your app to PWA using no 2. above. You can submit your app to the app store. Progressive web apps (PWAs) are installable on mobile devices and they are also submittable to play store. This approach is good if you want your web app and mobile app to behave same way but that is not always the case. |
Phantaminum1:If you are talking about mobile app, then you have to use reactnative and expo app on your phone. The expo client will allow you to view your app live on your phone as you develop. If you want both the mobile and web version of your app, then you write separate codebase for the two. |
silento:Don't get me wrong, PHP can do lots of stuff but building complex network applications in PHP is complex and convulated. I mention a chat app as an example in my last post, which is a straight forward thing to do in JavaScript and Nodejs or Golang. I am not talking about features in programming languages (I am saying this because you mentioned asyn) I am taking about language capabilities! I still use PHP till date because some clients codebase. Some other times, I write cms from scratch because I don't like to use wordpress for certain good reasons though I know how to use wordpress well. When it comes to building apps that respond to network calls instantaneously, I look to using Golang or Nodejs,it it's kind of app that are becoming the norm today. If for example, I want to rewrite nairaland, features I will add include automatic notification, one to one chat, group chat and the likes, these features are easier implemented in say Nodejs than trying to use PHP for such. Lastly see programming languages as tools and use the best tool that fit the job. Don't be among those that argue blindly about best language, choose the tool necessary for the job. |
Are you talking about mobile app or mobile responsiveness of the app ? For mobile app you have to use reactnative, for mobile responsiveness check your CSS. |
You can run run various Linux distros directly on your window machine without using VM. Microsoft has introduced windows subsystems for Linux known as wsl. When you install it,ensure it is wsl2. You will also enable virtualization on your Windows. After installing and enabling wsl version 2 you now install as many Linux distributions as you want. You can do anything you want on it. It is fully featured. I develop apps with it. I use docker on it. I use ansible on it. Do a Google search for Windows subsystem for Linux (wsl) or watch youtube video in it |
gistray:I was once a PHP only addict. In this days of complex applications and multi platform, PHP is no match will therefore fallout of favour with programmers. Consider for example that you can build web application, mobile application and desktop application using JavaScript,it's libraries and frameworks.nodejs is doing what PHP can do plus more, Go is even doing more, WebAssembly will make you do things on the client side that will limit your call for server resources. These and many more are the reasons why I can't advice anyone to learn PHP as their first programming language. You had better learn JavaScript, its libraries and frameworks, that will empower you to be multi platform developer (web app, progressive web app, mobile web app, desktop app developer) and APIs developer than learning PHP. PHP will go the same place ruby went to. PHP Is really dead but it use will be highly limited due to things like complex web application development. |
This is just marketing! First PHP is not the best server side language! I start my programming journey with PHP since 2012 and it was very interesting then. But then part of PHP weakness is it inability to handle network properly. In simple terms, try build a simple chat app with laravel and see how difficult it is. Do the same with Nodejs and also python if you are polyglot programmer who can write in different languages. It is easier to develop such kind of app with Go,Nodejs, WebAssembly, than PHP. Let me say that if you want to be a truly successful software developer, see programming languages as tools, learn different language for what they can most effectively. |
JoyousFurnitire:Not so,I have never levy anyone on nairaland but rather mentor and helped them. I said he should call be so that I can haver a long conversation with him and share my experience, challenges and success with him all which I can't type here because I have projects at hand that keeps me very busy. Most times I do wireframing, prototyping up to the deployment of softwares on servers(which qualifies as a DevOps) using tools such as ansible, Jenkins, etc. |
Well I have some good advice for you friend if you don't mind call me on 08089846577. I have been in shoes before, today I am a fullstack developer! |
Brogrammer:HTML is a markup language not strictly a programming language. That means we use html to tell what something(text, image, etc) is but not what it does. It does not defined a variable neither can you loop over arrays in HTML. CSS is styling language used to give a feel and design to HTML. CSS styles HTML period. CSS is also not a programming language. Understand that the computer language are in varieties! But the computer itself only understands binary,0&1! We can keep digging deep but suffice to say that HTML and CSS are not programming language as you can never you any of them to write a standalone program but you can use JavaScript, nodejs,PHP,c++,golang, etc. to write standalone programs! |
I love your question! As a fullstack engineer you see the whole picture but for front-end developers it is different. As a front-end developer you need to know the three fundamental technology of the web{html,CSS and JavaScript},one tool for ui development {adobexd,InDesign, figma},some graphics tools(Photoshop, illustrator),you will use these tools for mockup and prototyping but in some organisations the UI/UX team is different from those that build the actual front-end but my advice is to learn it as a front-end developer. Also some important frameworks and libraries: one of reactjs or vuejs. Also get to know JavaScript web APIs like webrtc, fileapi, fetch, intersection observer, etc. Get use to babeljs and webpack but if you feel webpack is too much then start with gulpjs. Also get to know about performance and optimization. Another thing I will advice you add to your skill set is building PWAs (Progressive Web Apps). You must love to learn!I which you great success! |
successmatters:Please just stop talking or posting nonsensical jargons! facts abounds everywhere that IPOB/ESN is responsible for the killing but your tribal conscience won't allow you to accept the truth! |
Shallbewell:Don't worry when people like this start having great influence on your children you will understand better! Imagine one of your child as one! |
Malory:The news is super authentic stop sounding foolish |
2elliot:You lack proper and functional reasoning faculty |
AudioMonkey:That fellow must a very foolish tribal bigot |
SisterFire:I suppose you are enemy to the well-being of this great country Nigeria! The land will spill people like you and the IPOB/ESN out! You sound cruel, immoral and totally heartless! |
Bonessaw:Amen! Amen!Amen! |
SisterFire:I don't if you saw the video clip! Now if you aren't a tribal bigot, you certainly agree that the IPOB/ESN miscreants are full blown terrorist! Biafra will never happen,an Igbo man will never be Nigerian president many years to come! |
naptu2:Lawless people clamouring for lawful independence! Sudan will be a joke in the sight of Biafra! |
kriss27:The first question I will ask you is do you have any IT related skill or skill set? If no then start from the the fundamentals of html CSS and JavaScript please don't let anyone tell you should learn python first that's a wrong wrong start |
