Araboy:what a sexy name, is she one person? |
-fighting over fried chicken with your "dawgs"I go die for laughter ![]() |
^^^ yea some black women don't even try to hide their hatred of mixed couples. It's sad and unladylike. specialized predominantly white school in Manhattan which has a reputation for having a students who often times stupidly and openly display they're underhanded racist views. I used to have friend from my brothers school and the people I knew from that school used to make racist comments and try to laugh it off because they felt that because they had black and hispanic friends that it was ok.wow I hate this the most. Almost all my friends make fun of black ppl daily haha. Even in class! The jokes don't bother me anymore, but it's just the awkwardness of the whole thing, being the only black dude in the room., I don't really know how to react. ( I need new buddies) As for whites being scared of blacks it's interesting and I can understand were it comes from. But it should Be black people who are scared of blacks. there was a little riot in my city last month, young black men were beating up other black people for fun, not a single white person was affected. But if you see the fear in white folks eyes when a black person walks by them you would want to puke. Grown boys 17-18 afraid there going to get raped. |
^ isn't it funny how most people are awesome at either English/ history or math/science but few people are really good at both? Lol yea, I think it's because illigal immigrants can't swim to the u.s anyway ![]() |
jerri curlhaha you don't need a Jerry curl to get waves. Never understand why ppl like waves tho. |
Didn't someone here say it was disrespectful to touch your elders head? It's one of those African rules. I guess. People used to always touch my hair when I was a kid because it felt wierd lol. I didn't mind back then, But it's kinda demeaning when it's someone your own age. I dunno. Unless it's a girl ![]() |
^^I agree, mali is really an underappreciated civilization, have you heard about them traveling to the Americas? I trully belive they were the first, before Columbus. To bad they were in the middle of the desert though. @topic It's funny, for most of my young childhood I had always assumed Africans were the smarted people. Here in the u.s all the Nigerian Americans are freak geniuss. Haha Nigerian Americans are the highest performing immigrant group in the u.s (more than e. Asians)look it up. Being around by these smart people I thought all Africans were smart. Of course now I know that that is a horribly racist veiwpoint, because I know that intelligence largely depends on circumstances. That is the only difference between us an inner city Americans. And poor Africans in Europe. Nevertheless, I always wished the college board would make seperate act scores for Africans & African Americans. Not because we are seperate people but just to spread the word about how well Africans are doing academically. And let all the black people know that it's not inferiority gives them bad grades. |
^^ don't forget medeval cateract surgury was perfected in Mali ( I forgot the year) and it was a black man who invented trafftic lights. |
The desert starts in Nigeria? Interesting thought. But What does that make Niger and Chad tho. ![]() ig have you ever tried camel hump? I heard it's an Arab delicacy. |
^^ piggery- that sounds disgusting ![]() lol keep in mind that 50% of Nigeria is Muslim. |
^^ same you might probably say the government shouldn't subsidize Nigerian products. This is not about self sufficency, the foreign products are cheaper because they are subsidized. . . Nigerian products just can't compete because they don't have the support of the government or ppl. Importation causes trillions of naira to leave the country annually, and create jobs for foreigners. Then you wonder why they are beggars, armed robbers, and violent almajiris everywhere. |
^^What about a bicycle? I have one that I don't need. But you have to pay tax and shipping from the u.s ooo. |
^^ ![]() |
PS: i am 24 and would love to conect with other young nigerians that are making it happen!Niccce, here is one i'm 17, so many oppurtunities in naija its a shame more of us young Nigerians living abroad don't make money of it ![]() |
Huh? i think they new layout of the bisiness/money section is great. No more clutter. |
this sucks, were your goods stolen in Nigeria? perhaps that should be the responsibility of the buyer. Next time try getting him to pay half before you ship. Maybe only take responsibility for getting it safely to the port. good luck, sorry for your loss. you edited your post: damn, so they broke into your car at the port? thats rediculous Nigeria is getting so messed up. |
nice. . . this is the good kind of foreign investment. |
african1:it really is, i plan on living there semi-permenantly after colledge & everything.
