Once again being in denial of it isnt going to make it go away. Keep whining.

The reason this thread got to this point is because you had the audacity to say only Igbo bashing happens on NL. Better contact Pearl Vision or Lens Crafters. If anyone is a liar it's you. Why wont you see the Yoruba bashing when you part of them? keep in mind it's cios of nonsense like this you usually pull that we used to argue worse than this in the past

Abi you're not nwado? Is this one about stereotypes too?

Notice how most of her responses in regards to Yorubas has to do with Yorubas being supposedly dirty. Always "hearing". What makes you different from Funmi sef? I heard this. I heard that. At least when I 'hear" something, I actually have proof of it.

abeg go and sit down or you can continue weeping all over Nairaland because you still can't believe that Igboland treats widows just as horribly as everyone else. Amazing how you claim you never heard of such yet you CONSTANTLY "heard" about how dirty Yorubas are.

keep "hearding" and whining, sho gbo  grin
For clarity this was my whole post since this girl cherishes half baked truths.
let me post what I said in reference to some Yoruba who started a thread that Igbos don't use toilet paper.

could it be that the family you are talking about had no water to flush so they use paper?
Now a thread about Igbos have resulted from this.

I heard Yorubas are very dirty and use their bare hands to wipe their baby's bottom after a bowel movement and would just wipe the hands off on their wrapper and sell you akara with the same hand.
I even hear they have a long open gutter between the "face me I face you "yard and after defecating they just pour a cup of water to move the doo doo away from their doormot.
Now is that a fact?

If indeed a yard had the above quality and a dirty woman selling akara displayed poor hygiene, does that describe Yorubas?
In other words did she do it because she was Yoruba or because she was dirty?

Now you see how stupid your thread is?
and I was responding to this.https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-87065.0.html#msg1598352

If I addressed you like a child that's because you're acting like one.
cherry picking again to deceive the readers
Any reasonable person would know that post was debunking stereotypes again and not subscribing to them.
You are beginning to really surprise me with your reasoning.

If you're angry that the Nigerian stereotype about Yorubas is that they are dirty why are you not angry that the Igbo stereotype is that we are 419ers?

The highlighted part actually makes you a liar.

I don't have your time to to sift through old threads but on at least 3 different ocassions, the Igbo widows drinking bathwater has been your constant diss on Igbos.

and I challenged you to give links which you did
(not that I couldn't use google )
But lo and behold, your link showed that Yorubas and edos did same.
It has absolutely nothing to do with who treated widows  better.
It was you and your ready Igbo diss debunked.

If you knew Yorubas and edos did it,why would you constantly tell us of Igbos doing it using nollywood as your proof?
wouldn't it be silly to accuse someone of something you also do?

Karmamod AKA TOH,

You searched high and low for any tribalisic comments I made and this is what you came up with

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-18580.32.html#msg541705

I heard that those yoruba women sitting and selling in the market place also defecate in those containers they are sitting on and could be selling you things at the same time.

I heard that they are very dirty also.

I heard they borrow money to do all that owa mbe
that Yorubas are unreliable.

that they are all mouth and no action, remember Jegede Shokoya of masquerade

that Hausas are very truthful and trustworthy

that Igbos would kill for money

all 419ers are Igbos

that bini girls are mainly prostitutes
bini men are armed robbers

that Ijaws are whiners and complainers

calabar people are the best cooks
calabar girls are the best wives

these are just stereotypes,I'm sure it's not true, there are good and bad in every tribe.
But Yinka wanted to hear stereotypes, there you go
.
I quoted myself in it's entirety so that people could read it within context.
This was a thread where some Yoruba girl asked about stereotypes after saying the stereotypes she had heard of others and that was what I said.
Did you or your assistant Texcee read the conclusion I made?

Or it doesn't matter that I made a conclusion having said those stereotypes.

If Indeed I believed Yorubas were dirty as a tribe,do I also believe all 419ers are Igbos and that  igbos as a tribe would kill their brothers for money?
Or that ashewo work belongs only to edo girls?
You are a very intelligent woman and you cannot tell me truthfully that  you don't understand the entirety of that post.
Cherry picking passages to suit your arguments is at best very childish.
Did you read Omo eko or Omoge's comments there?
Is anyone going around on their tails for what they said there.
Any intelligent reader understands that we were all talking of stereotypes.

You should be above such pettiness

That's what I expect  your "surrogate" texcee to do and not you.

I have no problem with Yoruba people.
What I have a problem with is the constant Igbo bashings by several Yorubas on Nairaland
And whenever it happens be rest assured that I will respond to set the records straight if I care.

and if you were not deliberately telling half twisted truths, why did you leave out my next post  on the same topic, same page.

ghettobabe,It's all stereotypes but I feel you.
Like here in States,it is stereotypical that black Americans are lazy, most of their men in jail.
Mexicans are welfare queens milking the govt.
Jewish people are money hungry and would ask for a pound of flesh.
Chinese folks are mean mean mean.
Indians and Pakistanis cunning and crafty
Russians are racist to the core
Italians are aggressive and chauvanistic
Spanish men are very romantic and unfaithful to their spouses
Africans smell and have no manners and just be grateful to be out of Africa
There are animals running around the streets in Africa.

Nwanne it's all stereotypes,we've all heard them but we know better.
They are not true

Keep playing the innocent act like most people don't know how you do. The reason why you hate Texcee so much is because whenever you go around sniffing for news that put Yorubas in a bad light. She comes right up to counterattack. May the Lord continue to bless her with her work grin

Why would I post those articles if I wanted to hide the fact that such things happen around Yorubas as well? Common sense please. You've been crying about that thing for dayus now. Not my fault you were in denial all this time and I showed you the truth. GET OVER IT.

As for the whole RN thread, so what? I shouldnt post it so you wouldnt cry? Werent Edo men also mentioned in the article so why are you still crying. Didnt you post a few of Yoruba women hacking their husband's privates and what not. Did you see me crying on your head? Know why? because I don't suffer from denial.

Is it really HARD to comprehend that the point of the thread was to prove that Igboland isnt exempt from such crass traditions in regards to widows. people like you would have killed that woman from making that movie just to protect your "reputation". Pathetic. Thankfully she now resides in the UK hiding from people like you.

Post the link for what? Too lazy to use NL google for "Dirty Yorubas" and see what your friends had to say, including YOURSELF? Abi you want to deny(as usual) that you said such things in the "what have you heard about other tribes" thread. ironically the only stereotypes you listed had to do with Yorubas. what a surprise.

why would I make things up? Am I afraid of you? Are you going to beat me or what. I have no reason to lie. Same way you asked for proof in regards to the widows thing I provided it, did I not? Instead for you to have accepted that ok o Igboland is PART of the places in Nigeria guilty of such. Instead you were asking foolish questions like "is oyo igboland"

Ridiculous.

Of course that was Karma's favorite line.
Igbos "drink bathwater" until yesterday when she had to peel her face off the floor when she also saw Yorubas did same then claimed she knew that already.
If she knew it why would it be her ready attack on Igbos even in unrelated threads using her nollywood knowledge on the issue.

The same way she claimed that the criminals in that famed TV show "How to rob a bank" were all Igbos until I posted the transcript  and we say that most of the criminals mentioned in that program were Yorubas

Then she's quick to tell us Igbo men kill their wives when all the stories we've seen here about women cutting off their lover's genitals have been Yoruba women.
Does that mean only Yoruba women do such a thing.

Some other idiot said Igbos are the drug pushers in Nigeria when history has it that the first and perhaps only men to be executed for drug offences in Nigeria are Yorubas.

We have also heard that Igbos give Naija a bad image meanwhile there's a thread on the 18  FBI most wanted Nigerian criminals and 98% of them are Yorubas.

As long as you folks keep on with this finger pointing, your claims will continually be debunked one after another.
I've asked any of you to name one crime IGbos commit that Yorubas don't and I'm still waiting for a response.
