Generalwoodz:There is no Law that says community with pipelines are oil producing community or state when you look at the larger picture.. |
obailala:God Bless You |
ImpregnaTor:I can see how daft you are.. if not because of lack of common sense is the south going to eat the gas? the resource is to be sold to every region and countries that do not have gas. or would you rather allow the gas to be flared like it is currently done the south south which ruins the environment and leaves the surface of buildings and roofs with black soot? the pipeline is destined for Europe.. in case you don't. you can't get to Europe without first building to northern Nigeria, Mali and to Algeria.. everything is not about hatred and bigotry |
mrvitalis:the bolded is true I'm glad you know this.. why then did GEJ privatise Distribution first instead of transmission? anyways.. It is true that government cannot invest what is needed to push transmission capacity. transferring it to private sector will not guarantee that the private sector will invest such money.. the private organisations who will take over it might most likely be owned by Nigerian politicians and that will bring more problems that will cost us time only for us to buy it back from the private hands.. same way it took us over 8 years to realize that privatizing distribution was a mistake now this government is spending billions to buy it back. Let the government invite a bank to finance the cost of expanding the distribution sector and the government acts as the guarantor.. once that is done the bank or the government can now source for a private hand in to run and maintain it under the supervision of the bank.. this government is using this method to fix port harcourt refinery and it is going smoothly. it is also the same policy behind the Siemens deal signed 2 years ago.. for your information this is the same method used to fix their power problems. they took loans, acted as the guarantors and brought in people to run the repaired system so that the lender (bank) can get back their money Obi who claimed to have visited Eygpt went on vacation..he learnt nothing about how Eygpt fixes theirs.. giving this crucial sector to a private hands doesnt guarantee that they will improve.. let the government fix it first by any means which is usually loans..then give it to a private body to maintain it... this is the goal of the siemens deal |
The Nigerian Air Force is an important branch of the armed forces of Nigeria Formally established in 1964 by an act of parliament. Some of which includes The Nigerian Civil war in 1967 the Sierra Leone civil war in 1991 The first Liberian civil war in 1989 The Northern war in 2012 The Invasion of the Gambia in 2016 And the Boko haram insurgency which is still being battled till date With the current security challenges in the country. The Air Force plays a very important role in sustaining peace and national security. This goal can not be met if the force is not well equipped with the necessary platforms to carry out it’s duties This thread is aim at breaking down and giving full analysis of all the Aircraft currently used by Nigerian Air force. You be the judge. Are this sufficient enough to win the war against insurgency. The measure of the military strength of any Air Force around the world is by studying the number and capabilities of all the fleets of aircrafts in active duty. Differentiated in 7 categories From transport aircrafts, UAVs to fighter aircrafts. These are all the aircrafts used in the Nigerian Air Force in 2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0P41-ak0dls |
mrvitalis:same way GEJ privatised distribution.. today no growth..AMCON is paying billions to retake over the distribution sector.. fix the transmission system..that is the only way to get power..allow every player to set their prices to what suits them to handle the business and stop subsidies. giving it to private hands will only worsen it especially when they are still no allowed to set their prices freely.. the companies will only squeeze every profit from it until it dies. |
masseratti:that is the vision of the Ogun state governor who embarked on the airport project. I am only reporting. If you debunk the necessity of the Ogun airport project (most likely refer to it as a waste).. What will you say about Cross river state.. where an airport exist but still the governor is building another airport with the longest runway in the world.. in summary..cross river state will be the only state in Nigeria to have 2 publicly available airport (even Lagos has just one ) and it second airport will have the longest runway in the world (5.6km) and the reason for this is that they want cross river to export flowers from the new airport ..I repeat flowers |
