How did you get around the Florence reference issues?

Got reference from an old employer here as I had worked with another agency Sha before joining Florence but for indeedflex you can use any category for your reference.i would think indeedflex is a better place to start if you haven't got any care experience

Guys I need una help or advise,

My professional CV has granted me series of interviews to jobs but once I tell them that am restricted to 20hours..they tell me to reach out when I can do full-time.

At this junction, I need tips on how to get any menial jobs. I don apply for indeed, I can't even count the unfortunately emails I don get.
I got to Sunderland early this month.

I reside in Sunderland (SR2).

What advise or tips can you offer?

I don tire like this... 😂

Have you tried indeedflex or Florence, depending on what works for you.

You can try but it appears you didn't tell them about your status before abandoning the job. If job still available you might get it though

I did explained I have an application and gave them my UAN but they were not patient with me and I don't think it can be termed abandonment as the contract equally expired with student BRPq

Hello Ancestors,
Thank you always for lending a helping hand to the newbies like me.Please I will like to make an enquiry.
When I was on student visa I had a permanent job that guaranteed my 20hrs/week.The contract expires with my student bro but a month to expiry they asked for updated visa but it was not out but I gave them my uan but they wanted share code.So at the end I dropped there device as instructed and stopped work. Now that my new BRP is out.if I want to return to them will they start a new contract?
Is it wise to return to them or I should move on?
One mind is telling me to go back and another mind is telling me to look for other opportunities?
I know to some it may not look like a major decision ,I just feel like asking cos in this country I am learning very well to keep asking.

Thank you always for your million dollar advice

Regards

Review your past and present situation... What has changed?

1. Did you miss a direct debit payment?
2. Did you move homes?
3. Did you over utilise your credit limit? 25% or more?

Something must have changed to cause this.

1.No
2.Yes but it is not updated on clearscore as it carries my old address
3.Dont have credit card yet

Hello Ancestors in the house, pls help me understand.I registered with clearscore last month to check my score and all was well until last week when I got an email that my score had dropped by 140 points without any hard search to get any credit card or loans.

Pls help me understand what dropped the score as 140 is not a small score ooo

Hi Ancestors , thanks for always answering my questions. This platform is a blessing.God bless all the contributors. Please am here today to get advise for a pal of mine who has this scenario
He came in on student visa with his wife and children.Along the line the wife got a sponsored job but because he still has more than six month on student visa, they decided children and wife move to tier2.tier2 approval according to him took months to arrive and as he was preparing to apply on the tier2 dependant they got a mail from home office that the children-dependant visa has been shortened to the parent with the shortest stay and a new brp issued to them.In a Cross road now what can he do even though he has the PSW option or can he reapply the tier 2 for all dependant again using the same cos the wife is presently on?

Please sirs and mas ,what can he do at this point?

You must take it away or make arrangements with the landlord for them to keep it, otherwise, they’ll be entitled to deduct from your deposit to dispose of it.

Your options are to 1. Ring them and discuss and agree to leaving it
2. Sell it/give it away on gumtree or FB marketplace
3. Donate it to a charity shop (only if it’s still very new-ish and high quality). Most do come take things out for free.
4. Pay for removers for take it to the tip or to your new place.

Hello Ancestors

Thanks to all that contributed to my query.it is now resolved and I will be able to leave at the expiry date. All your contributions helped.
But I also have a question to ask,the washing machine in the apartment is mine as landlord did not provide one,can I leave it behind in the apartment or it will be considered as my stuff and they will call me to come and carry later.Asking because it will be a cost uninstalling and taking to recycle and if it can be useful to the next tenant, why not?
Your advise again sirs and mas

You have got to give at least 1 months notice, there’s no way around it.

Telling the agent that I am not renewing at the end of the contract does not suffice as notice?
This response was sent to them on October, that is like 2 months notice or it must come with the word NOTICE

Just let it go into a rolling contract which means you and your landlord give 1 and 2 months notice respectively.

Thank you for your advise but I said an not renewing based on the fact that I am moving to a different city.Infact these agent seems out to frustrate themselves and not me.I have told them them am leaving on Dec 17 but they say I have to give the notice and stay till Jan17.
I have also tried to reach out if we can reach a common ground but it's all brick wall.I have started paying rent in the other city as I secured the accommodation and so I need this resolved and they are not forthcoming.
Also sent mail and no response.I just don't want any litigation as I don't have money for that one month. How else can one resolve this please
Or anyone that knows a good property solicitor which can help me write this agency people for a fee.i will like to engage such solicitor.i don't like the way the agent is keeping quiet on my numerous communication.it sickening to be sending mails to an organization and they are keeping mum like ...don't pay and see what we will do.
Elders please help

Hello Ancestors,
Please help
I have a tenancy agreement of 6 months renewable every six month.sometimes in October ,agent sent me mail for renewal to which I told them that am not signing another six month because I may be moving out.The contract expires on 17th December,Am I still supposed to give any notice as I am moving out on expiry. The agency are saying I should give one month notice and that means one month payment which I thought is not required at expiration of contract.Pls help me understand what I should put thro to landlord or agent ooo.
