u have too know this that political game players have thought about all these points u have raised. Don't mind the noisemakers here on nairaland shouting sai buhari. The unity of this nation is of utter most importance to key players. Nigeria is too big and important to be handed over to people like amaechi and tinubu to control. There is no way buhari will or can win this election. This will be the worst and heaviest defeat for apc ,just wait and see. If buhari 8 states believe me it will be a miracle.
Again, I hope you are right!

But we must no lower our guards. We must not underestimate the quantum of foolishness in Tinubu and Ameachi's camp, even as they drag the clueless general down the scheming rabbit hole! They are not cloning PVC for the fun of it; we are dealing with desperate people, whose schemes might run out of control like the Boko Haram saga!

We must not lose guards!

We must emphatically defeat their myopia at the polls, in the interest of the rest of us - Nigerians!

I keep hearing Change Change. Until I asked them:
Change from what?
Change to what?

Someone took a loan in millions to pick a presidential form, but never considered taking a loan to start up a company that can provide employment for same youths following him?! After 30 years in same seat, what has he done to positively better lives around him?

Yes he is poor abi? Poor people can get loans in millions in Nigerian banks and have their kids school abroad. While other almajiri kids have no school under his administration. Change indeed!
Lol.

Buhari's poverty story is simply a lame attempt to copy 'I have no shoes' comment of the current President. Unfortunately for him GEJ case was due to circumstance beyond his control, in Buhari's case it is caused by his inability to create wealth with his resource. Buhari's poverty is caused by 'poverty of idea'!
PoliticsRe: Nigerian Military Condemns CNN For Their Biased Report On Their Interview by PointB: 10:43am On Jan 16, 2015
So if APC fans help CNN (and fifth columnist) destroy the army because of GEJ, will the army suddenly become the best if Buhari comes to power?

thanks for ur understanding. Just for the record , pdp won ekiti state with a very wide margin of votes, in osun state despite the fact that pdp presented a weak candidate ,the party still amassed over 200,000 votes and this would have been more if pdp had presented a popular candidate. Ondo state is firmly under the control of pdp with mimiko has governor. In oyo state ,apc has already lost the state because noone is even thinking of voting for them, the opposition parties candidates leading the onslaught against apc are all products and ex members of pdp,the common goal of all in oyo state is that apc must go,maybe if the governor had moved to another party he might have had a chance. So far as the game is only lagos ,ogun and kwara remains to be decided and it is a common knowledge that pdp will clear all elections in kwara state. So pdp still has a very very strong fanatical base in the south west and yorubas are sophisticated to know the difference between cheap propaganda and facts . We know apc is a pack of liars and we will give them our verdict at the polls.
A fact many people share.

Hopefully the verdict will be a complete rejection of Tinubu's schemes and aged Buhuri's misadventure. Frankly, anything other than this will really portray the Yorubas in bad light especially among the Southern ethnic groups. The Niger Delta will see through the schemes as plot to 'steal' their oil, while SE will see it as attempt to stem the little attention (airport, and roads) that have come to the SE. GEJ has been magnanimous to every part of the country. The free elections experienced now, didn't happen in the days of Obj. Infrastructure development appears evenly spread, even as North appears more favoured!

Our primary concern now should be free and uninterrupted flow of oil, while the effort to diversify the economy (agric, auto, power, telecom, services etc) gathers steam. This seems guaranteed with GEJ at helms of affair. To cut his time short will be seen as a gang up to steal from the 'poor and weak' Niger Delta, and return Nigeria to status quo. SE will not be part of that! In unison both will see Yorubas as greedy lots. Para-adventure Buhari's wins and become incapacitated leading to Osibanjo's Presidency, Core North will simply join the fray. No 'sophistication' will get Nigeria out of the mess this Tinubu's misadventure would have caused then.

I don't think it is fair to generalise all this as a west agenda. Pdp has a massive followers base in the south west . And it is a common knowledge that pdp will win at least 4 states in the south west for the presidential. All this scheming is that of tinuburuku and his allies in the persons of obj and co. Most yorubas right now detest apc and by the end of this year election apc would have dropped additional 2 or 3 more states in the south west.
It is some of the very loud mouthed Yorubas who have sold this a Western Agenda, an expression of their 'sophistication.' And that's how most of the 'free' world see it. Let's hope we are wrong, and you are right!

The North should by now know better than trust the West on issues like this. Why do they think Tinubu and Obj are all of a sudden friends? Best for the North to allow GEJ complete his second term, and then enter into agreement with the East for 2019!

How does that sound, eh Fashola?
PoliticsRe: Jimi Agbaje Is Too Old To Rule Lagos- Gov. Fashola by PointB: 4:40pm On Jan 15, 2015
Also, the national leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu, enjoined the people not to vote Agbaje, who he said could not manage his personal business well.
Please someone should remind me of Buhari's personal business which he has managed well? Did he run a single business?

So Fashola too doesn't want a 58-year old man to rule Lagos, because he's too old, yet he's happy for a 73-year old to rule Nigeria? Na wa oo!

Fashola and Tinubu are 21st hypocrite personified!

Agbaje for Lagos!
GEJ for Nigeria till Fashola and Tinubu drop their hypocrisy!

Sibrah:
How has the loophole of stealing been removed in the case of in oil and gas (subsidy inclusive)? People are always going to find a way to steal, punishment is the only sure way to fend theives off and it is a pity Jonathan has decided to punish the Nigerian people by partially removing the subsidy while leaving the subsidy theives to roam free and acquire more power for new round off assault on the peoples' commonwealth.
The best was to plug the loopholes in the oil industry is by completely removing subsidy on fuel. Something, many Nigerians refuse to understand! Subsidy should be on production not on consumption! That way, there would be nothing for subsidy thieves to claim.

The part I don't get is why Buhari sent her daughter to school abroad, and doesn't preach education to the thousands of almijiri hordes who follow him. Is it so that his daughter will lord over them?

Okogie didn't deny the truth...he only counseled it shouldn't have been from the pulpit but Since GEJ loves the pulpit dramas so much (as evidenced by the below), i have little to blame Rev Fr Mbaka for
Quit it already.

Here is an excerpt of what Antony Cardinal Okogie said:

How do you see the statement credited to Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka?

Any serious priest will not speak the way he spoke. I am not saying that he is not serious. I will not agree with the things he said. According to what I read in the newspapers, a few weeks earlier, the First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, visited his Adoration Ground in Enugu and he prayed for her. At that occasion, he was said to have lambasted the opposition party, APC, and now to turn around overnight and start lambasting President Goodluck Jonathan shows that there is something wrong somewhere.

Personally, I felt bad because it is not the place of a priest to go to that extent. He can have his personal opinion, but to go to the extent that he went is abnormal. I want you to know that he wasn’t speaking for the church. He said he was moved by the spirit, and I wonder what kind of spirit was that.

He said he was under the inspiration of the spirit. If he was under the inspiration of the spirit, I wonder if the spirit is that of God. I don’t think the spirit he’s referring to is the spirit of God. He must have been under the influence of another spirit. He must have been listening to a wrong spirit.

PoliticsRe: Buhari: Why Yorubas Must Never Forget - Olurotimi Adeola by PointB: 11:20am On Jan 14, 2015
As they say "Yoruba Ronu"

I am Igbo, but I fully support GEJ, an Ijawman, because given the challenges he faced, he has really performed in many sectors! Osibanjo, Tinubu, and co cannot protect yoruba's interest in Buhari's government. Buhari has already forgotten Osisbanjo's name simply because he has no regard for him, and only need him to win yorubas vote. Osibanjo himself has little or no chemistry with Buhari, they have never worked together, and wont be able to work together. Can a (dodgy) WASC holder understand a Professor? Where will he start? Osibanjo is just there to look after Tinubu's business interest, and even at that he will fail. Buhari will work with his 'own people' in kitchen cabinet!

Again "Yoruba Ronu!"
