sweet_gala: Dimeji was not returned even thou he was leader of house, the Yoruba constituents spoke with their vote. Iyabo was disgraced even with her father's influence and was disgraced at the polls .

What else do you want?
Obj, Tinubu, and Fashola are yet the biggest crook in the land. Let's see you two faced crooks descend on them with the kind of venom your poor on others.
PoliticsRe: I Am Sick And Tired Of Tribal Politics - Who Is With Me? by PointB: 2:11pm On Oct 25, 2013
DerideGull: Above post is a conjectural crap instigated by ignorance and avoidable boredom. The inhabitants of Nigeria are fundamentally different in culture, tradition, spirit, food, house they live, dance and physique.
In nature, the first law is called self preservation. It is funny you wanted to better Africa and World yet you have not lifted yourself into a level slightly above poverty. The line of thought displayed in the post is called infantile postulation. There is no reason to have Nigeria continue as a country for one day.

Most people of Nigerian background who have lived in UK and USA for decades still have their organizations based on ethnicity. Anything termed Nigeria has not worked in the lands of the wise. It is idiocy for one to think anything Nigeria will work in the land of fools such as Nigeria itself.

USSR was a country which developed into world power by all standards and led by a dominate culture-Russia still found a way to collapse. Nigeria is colonial mistake that will never work not after a modern war of attrition was fought. I hope Nigerians will find a peacefully way to disengage from each other instead of another war of attrition.
Spot on and succinct. If emphasizing our differences will help the country collapse/divide, then by all means, we are on the right path. I hope the country divides sooner than later. We are not one, not destined to be, and will NEVER be one!

Simple!

lol,

Even when it is glaring that the biggest Yoruba looters is a hot contest between Obj himself and Tinubu!

Reference: All these people you are quoting are present or past PDP. The party in opposition as far as the west is concerned today. But stop for once and consider that in 14 years in Lagos and far fewer in other states that not one person has served one day in prison for corruption. Can you confidently say that there has not been one single case of corruption under the present power arrangement in the west because I know for a fact that it is hard to turn on your own. Is every politician down there richer, level or poorer (with mass Nigeria) than he was in 1999.

And please don't say lack of evidence for obvious reasons - circular argument.
On Point!

@Op,
Just one correction to your initial post,

It is not called 'fufu and stock-fish' politics, the right term is 'amala and ewedu' politics. The one who come to equity owns it a duty to at the very least come with clean hands! I bet 10 Naira you have never seen let alone eat stock-fish in your life; you probably grew up with Ewedu, gbegiri, and amala.

PoliticsRe: Dino Melaye Released, Says Police Exhibited Professionalism by PointB: 5:51pm On Oct 24, 2013
McLuhan: It is rather curious that the police arrested Mr Melaye but left his machete-wielding opponents. While I have absolutely no sympathy for the former legislator and while I remain unconvinced about the altruism of his motives, I am nonetheless repulsed by the open bias exhibited by the police team ostensibly sent to maintain order during the protests. When will our police officers learn that they are not appendages to political office holders and that they should not feel beholden to one party in a conflict?
Machete-wielding indeed. I guess that would only be in the figment of Shaliar Reporters and their agents.

Meanwhile have we forgotten the very popular sahara reporter forgery?

Baba_Eleko: This is the first time i'm hearing "Nigeria Police" and "Professionalism" in the same sentence. shocked Something is very fishy and meaty!!!!
What does Dino do these days for a living?

Well, I tell you the guy is a Ghana-Must-Go activist and some of you doubted. Melaye is a fvctard who looks after his own interest. He was paid by the aviation cabal to make noise; he is not convinced he is doing the right thing because he is NOT!

If you want more noise from him, you'll need to part with more funds. It's simple Ghana-Must-Go activism!

masu: "More importantly I gave more sons and daughters of Ife and indeed Osun state indigenees more jobs in the various parastatals of Aviation and Culture and Tourism when I was Minister in both than ANY other Minister in the history of our country. If you doubt that go and ask the people and the families from Osun that benefitted or the Ooni of Ife himself and the local and political leaders of that ancient community who were all fully aware. I gave those young men amd women those senior managerial jobs only because they were encouraged to apply for them and they were well qualified for them and I have no regrets about doing so. As a matter of fact I was very proud of doing so because some of them had not worked for years or since they left university. I made so many efforts for those from my ''home region'' that in 2008 the Senator Anyim Ude-led Senate Aviation Commitee on Aviation wanted to ban me from public office for 5 years simply because I put ''too many yoruba people in the aviation parastatals'' from FFK.

how do you want us to blv and follow such group in the name of majority
The most important achievement of the former minister of aviation - the one and only loquacious Fani 'Ode! cheesy

masu: am from a northern minority group myself do you want to know what we use to discuss sometimes about naija.

the love of the ibos is growing by the day among us bcus they are the only group that invest in our land among majority groups.
2) inspite of the war with them we have never recorded any killing of our ppl in iboland.
3) the ibos in our MB state never fight nor pick quarel agaisnt us the host like fulanis/hausas does.
4) some ibo groups sponsors our people in education,
5) most churches in our localities are built almost by the ibos. do you think we will forget all of these.

i can go on and on to issues you will not blv.

http://elombah.com/index.php/articles-mainmenu/15858-igbo-community-college-lokoja-kogi-state
And I don't think you will ever have any reason to regret your association with the Igbo in your community. Igbos are as transparent as plane glass. Our 'yes' is a YES and our 'no' is a NO. What you see is what you get. No hanky panky! And we will NEVER envy your achievements; we will rather strive to better ourselves and our environment- regardless of where we find ourselves. This is who we are! We are Igbos!
PoliticsRe: Dino Melaye Arrested After Oduah-must-go Protest Today by PointB: 4:25pm On Oct 24, 2013
Asabeq: Dino maleye an activist and fighting for corruption? Lol the same he goat who got a yoruba actress pregnant and denied her. Those who lack morals should not be activists!
As much as I don't support this looting and waste of money, this fight has rather gone tribal!
Was stella the cause of the sosoliso and bellview crash? Because dump people are attributing the recent crashes to her.or have forgotten the crash involving full blooded Generals?all in ffk's time so should we attribute that to him too?or the bad conditions the airports were in during his time?
What about the way he sacked people from other tribes, employed his own people and even created departments just to get them employed.oh I forgot he employed Igbo women to warm his bed and made it look like a trophy to date them.lol
He may not have bought cars with his own loot but he sure did have fun with his family and numerous women.
Let's fight corruption if we really wanna fight it putting sentiments and tribalism aside.
Just like simon kolawole,a This day column writer rightly said, stella did a wonderful job only to play her self into the hands of her enemies and he said which I also support " madam stella say sorry or sink and return those cars!don't play up ethnic, religious or political sentiments because some of us will not buy such emotions!
Before we continue crucifying her especially westerners don't forget all our leaders ,past and present including the he goat dino are thieves!so unfortunate that we the youths have been swayed away by ethnic, religious and tribal sentiments especially Igbos and Yorubas which only God can deliver you people from before its too late.
Since I was age 1 now I'm goin on 20,I keep hearing we are the leaders of tomorrow but Its same old names year to year so when will the youths be given a chance and if find a young person then he must be related and connected to same old names!and to think that the recent deaths is always amongs the youths cry
God help us.
Well said my sister,
Let Dinosaur and co-traveler in deceit and treachery continue to deceive themselves and the undiscerning. Those who know what all this hullabaloo is all about will always be around to point it out. Dinosaur and his fellow travelers are shameless ghana-must-go activists!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s 1st Revolution by PointB: 4:14pm On Oct 24, 2013
Some part of Nigeria are already experiencing the revolution. As a matter of fact, that part is currently as ungovernable as threatened by their leaders; while others are enjoying relative peace.

Those who wish to engage in revolution in this dispensation are enjoined to start from their rooms and end it in front of their doors. Many us want want something else, not selfish revolutions sought by those who forgot that power is transient.

Public nuisance will be 'sectional' and will be dealt with 'accordingly.' Revolt in your rooms! . Nuff said!

masu: believe me if yorubas continue in their quest of Mrs Oduah must go, what will happen is that she
wil vacate that seat but yorubas will also loose their grip on NCAA and aviation ministry.

A Heavy price to pay if you ask me but many cant see it coming.

yorubas should pretend for once, do you know that ibos are counting the numbers of ibo ministers who lost their job because of yoruba fulani hausa attacks. do you think they are happy.

pls yoruba ppl wise up a bit, we have noticed that ibos never championed a dethronement of any yoruba minister or federal worker.
Let them continue. They believe they are smart. It's going to be a zero-sum game, sooner than later!

blacksta: THe vital questions have not been answered .

1. do we need armoured vehicles in all the airports in Nigeria. If they are operational vehicles

2. 255 Mill for 2 cars

3. Operational vehicles currently been used as Taxi by the Minister

I can smell bullshit from far. I dont really blame her / Another Nigerian will do worse- The fault remains with leadership selection process
1. do we need armoured vehicles in all the airports in Nigeria. If they are operational vehicles
Terrorist groups such as Boko Haram, and dangerous cabal such as the Aviation ones make it necessary that foreign officials and other dignitaries are safely conveyed. Armoured (bullet proof/bomb proof) vehicle is certainly a good start.

2. 255 Mill for 2 cars
Do you manufacture or sell cheaper specs? Did you bid, and was not considered?

3. Operational vehicles currently been used as Taxi by the Minister
Let me guess, you were ferried in such vehicle for a fee? How much was charged?
PoliticsRe: N255m Car Deal: My Story, By Stella Oduah by PointB: 9:49am On Oct 24, 2013
The Honorable Minister of Aviation has acquitted her self very well with this lucid and straight-to-the-point explanation. I hope all those who called for her head without listening to her side of the story cover their faces in shame. Now this woman has important business of Airport remodeling and reform to carry out. These distractions should cease forthwith.

Orlando Owoh: This is the beginning of the downfall of GEJ, you've, owing to the inability of Igbo to produce the President, wished to continue beyond 2015.
The world is watching the President that lied Nigeria is the second ranked country after the US, according to Transperency International, in the fight against corruption.
So it's now about the downfall of GEJ and Igbo Presidency? Some of you APC/Tinubu dogs and yoruba poster can be very pathetic, and you, in particular, are very shallow minded, petty, and a none-entity. I am done with your clowning!
PoliticsRe: Dino Melaye Arrested After Oduah-must-go Protest Today by PointB: 8:44am On Oct 24, 2013
Orlando Owoh: You're a fo.ol. So the protest of Dino Malaye was illegal while the counter protest was legal? I should have known you're Igbo, and it's having an adverse effect on your reasoning. FYI Femi Falana won a case against the Police, that you don't need a Police permit to protest. It's an infringement on right to movement.
Who led the counter protest? Another liar from Shaliar Reporter?

A public nuisance was properly dealt with by the Police. That suffices for now.

Lol @ sin no more...tnks sir
Pls my dear,
If you organise a protest I will support you. But not Dino Melaye.

Dino is a crook, a ghana-must-go activist. Let him help the Nollywood actress he impregnated, infected with syphilis and discarded like a piece of dirty rag. I am grossly embarrassed as Nigerian to see such he-goat speak for me. He should only speak at a gathering of goats, for the he-goats!
I am massively disappointed that NollyWood artistes have not organised a massive protest against the he-goat of a boy!

Orlando Owoh: The NCAA is an agency under the Ministry of Aviation. She can't deny she knew of the plan of an agency under her to buy her a car from the budgetry allocation to the ministry which she defended in the NASS before the approval of the overall budget.
She doesn't need to deny it and she hasn't. If the agency made a convincing case to purchase the cars, why not? And it is on record they did; the hullabaloo is what it is - a hullabaloo!
