Those who contemplate Muslim/Muslim ticket in this era of Islamic militancy, terrorism, and sharia are on a long thing. The don't understand the importance of timing. I say to them, go ahead! Let's see how that works for you.
PoliticsRe: BUHARI/ AMAECHI For 2015. Hmmm... by PointB: 8:17pm On Nov 05, 2013
Buhari is too old, inarticulate, incoherent, lacking in ideas and guile to manage Nigeria. But it will be good to see him in the polls again. His presence in the poll is a sign of victory for anyone pitted against him.

Seems to me that the opposition is seriously lacking the idea department as every permutation they make throw up the old and incompetent Mumumadu Buhari!

isale_gan2: P.S. Nominate the other 6 angry men. grin
Well, I am yet to see any Nairalander half as angry as Gbawe. If you want an angry woman, you should consider throwing Desola in the midst. Those two will make a nice couple any day, provided they don't talk themselves into a Musiwalic state.
PoliticsRe: It Takes A Political Village by PointB: 1:56pm On Nov 05, 2013
Except for the casting of Odumchi in bad light , the characters are more or less fairly depicted. Nice try, Isale_gan.

eye4eye: What a dolt! Get it in your skull, Ibo man will never rule Nigeria. Power sharing is between North and South (Southwest) alone. Southsouth ruling now won't happen again till we separate.

[s]This is the best way to realise your dream country (Biafra).

1. You and your fellow Ibos should start immediately to move to alaibo.

2.Stop participating in Nigeria's election.

3. Tell all Ibo senators and house of rep. members to stop showing up for work.

4. Start rejecting federal allocations meant for the East.

5. Stop applying for Nigerian passport. Gather yourselves in Enugu and burn the current Nigeria passports you all currently possess and burn it in the public.

6. Better still, declare another war and get wiped out on the surface of planet once and for all.

We will be taking you serious if if you do everything I just listed.

Failure to do what I listed means your are not realy ready to have your own country. All these Biafra this, alaibo that are just mere air pollution to the society.[/s]
I don't really have much time on my hand now, least of all, time to respond to all manners of foolishness and sub-intelligent assertions. Just note one thing, Nigeria is headed for the rocks. If it does survive it, there is NO, repeat, NO political permutation that will throw up a youroba presidency before Igbo. But then, some of you are just too 'sophisticated' to rationalise simply stuff. I reckon it's best to allow you (all) wallow in your inanity, that is powered by hateful sentiments! Carry go, nothing do you!

Dudu_Negro: You have no shame!

Ordinary state....just a political unit - Anambra - in your own land, you have reduced it to a political circus, but you want to rule 36 of them, 31 of which are outside your domain of control. Where is the competency to achieve that?

If you have that level of political know how, then apply it in Anambra and bring in order and civility.

If I see one more topic in Nairaland suggesting Ibo presidency I go set this forum ablaze!

Yeye dey smell!
lol Chief Negro,
I didn't know you have this gargantuan propensity for fooling. My guy, you are a good clown. Keep it up! You'll soon take over from Baba Suwe, without the drug courier part, I hope. cheesy cheesy cheesy grin grin grin
PoliticsRe: Igbo Presidency by PointB: 9:42pm On Nov 04, 2013
Every Yorubas Tom, D1ck, and Harry seems to be an expert these days on how Igbo can become President and what's not. They say we should jettison fear and distrust for other tribes, yet in the lands of those tribes, we account for the second largest population after the indigenes. Where is the so called fear and mistrust coming from? From some bias and deeply bigoted self acclaimed Igbo affairs expert I should think. It is idiotic to presume a separate country is not the best solution for Igbo, when you are neither Igbo nor live in Igboland.

So I say stick those advises to your south-end where the sun never shine, and stop crying more than the bereaved. "There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come."

Yorubas shedding crocodile tears for Igbo Presidency, should rather weep for themselves and their family. Nigeria is a cesspit, as Dede1 would always say, the sooner we bring an end to it, the better for all us.

Op has made a valide observation and an important request. I dont know how many people in authority visit this forum/board.

There are two angles to approach this - pressure on the government and the foreign offices. I think NNO should further delibrate this in the council.

PoliticsRe: Fake Report: Stella Oduah Rented Protester's In Enugu. By Dailypost by PointB: 4:02pm On Oct 31, 2013
Thank you op for the breakdown of the Yorubas hate campaign with the numerous news media and cooked-up news. Let me say it here and now, unless Nigeria divides, Igbo voices shall always be heard in the polity. The era of Yorubas voices monopoly of the news media sphere is over, repeat OVER. They wont be allowed to dictate the news; they wont be allowed gourd Nigerians in any direction. They wont be allowed to use the media to gourd the military into coups and other instability. That era is OVER!

The bigotry and tribalism masked as 'sophistication' has met it's doom. It died when Soyinka attacked late Achebe, it's internment was announced when these bigoted and hateful hypocrites applauded Soyinka as he attacked a woman (PEJ) unfairly, now that these 'sophisticated' tribalists have rolled out that armory against another innocent woman (Stella), it is time to finally bury their monopoly of the news space. Enough of their wickness, intolerance and scheming. Sanusi was very right when he said "Yorubas are the problem with Nigeria." I join well meaning Nigerians to say ENOUGH OF Yorubas BIGOTRY AND HATE CAMPAIGN AGAINST IGBOS AND OTHER MINORITY GROUPS! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Junk journalism at it's peak!

What could possibly be worse than student out of school for their selfish reason? Let me guess, arrest some of the arrow head of this politically motivated strike for sedition, and perhaps treason?

Well, GEJ is simple man, that's why these dissidents can run their mouth?

Well, No work No Pay is it for now. Federal Government should consider ejecting those who have official quarters, cars, etc from those properties if they are paid from government coffers.

laplace19: Now,I am beginning to understand something.

Tribalism is becoming predominant in Oduah's case
It has always been my sister, only now that it's been blown out in the open. The so-called 'sophistication' has be demystified and shown for what is it - unadulterated hatred, dangerously motivated by ethnic bigotry. The Yorubas has been demystified by their recent hate campaign; unfortunately for them, this time they picked an innocent yet powerful adversary. It's game on and we shall prevail!
PoliticsRe: Armoured Car Controversy: Only N52 Million Has Been Expended So Far by PointB:
The SW Media, the Aviation Cabal, Nairaland hate mongers, APC e-rats, pull-her-down jihadists, and many more I failed to mention. Shame to you all. Stella will wade through this tide stronger and firmer, and more importantly smarter.

Shame on you all!
PoliticsRe: Open Secret: Beware! Not Only Oduah, Many More Are In Their Crosshairs by PointB:
Op is spot on.

We are not unawares of threats made in the past to fight the Aviation Minister to a standstill and we are not also unaware of the role Yorubas through the media have played up till now. Well, some of those were allowed to fly because other groups simply had too many things to worry about and simply allow the Yorubas to dictate the news space. However, this is 2013, and the media is no longer controled by the print; the cyber plays a critical role.

Stella Oduah 'crimes' keeps multiplying in the eyes and ears of the malicious Yorubas propaganda, yet no one is willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and space to defend herself. They want her out as fast as possible, exposing the hatred and bias in them as a consequence. Well, we shall stick to her, and make it politically toxic even for her to be removed. Yorubas must learn to accept that they are not the only tribe in Nigeria. Their ethnic gang-up against the aviation minister must be call what it is - Tribalism .

The Aviation Minister has committed no crime as yet, calling for her head is simply stretching their scheming and hatred too far. Only this time around it wont work - the other groups have woken up from the slumber. It's now game on!

funnyx: You're irredeemably dumb grin chei I even thought you're a bit smart huh
Why can't you put forward any reasonable argument in your life without mentioning Tinubu? Have you been raped or sodomised by Tinubu before? Because I really don't understand why you can't seem to do without him.
This man is not even in govt, does not control the police or the army so why are you always terrified of his name?
The issue at hand is about a Nigerian who was arrested and still being detained without charge. He is being prevented from contacting his family or his lawyers and we are supposed to be in democracy? Are you proud of your ogogoro master for running Nigeria in a manner that's even make Abacha look like a saint?
I wonder how people like you sleep at night but one thing I'm sure of is all enemies of Nigeria like you will soon perish, if thousands of you stand on our way you'll be crushed. May God reward you abundantly according to the works of your hands.
Clap for yourself if you think you have made any iota of sense with this poo of a post!

Prof Corruption: Of course, they know the story is true. It's an article written by one Sabella Ogbobode Abidde. But since the content of the article is indisputable, the ploy is to bring anything, anything at all, to derail the thread.

GEJ administration is becoming more and more dictatorial. Why can't this guy be simply charged to court? Why are they holding him in solitary confinement when there is a court of competent jurisdiction in Yenegoa? They just want to "punish" him for being at the other side of the table. Nothing more. Punish this one, to intimidate others.
The guy is 'destitute and deranged' and has been sent to a Federal Rehabilitation Center, akin to the way Fashola sent 'destitutes' to detention centers. Kapish? I bet he can equally sue the FG for a billion naira when he finally regains his freedom!

gbanikiti: making a joke out of a story doesn't mean the story is false.
Ok, it means the story is joke, and should be taken as such. Either way, it's still factually deficient - a joke, a fallacy. Just semantics!
