cKaiser: Omo Yoruba, How can those who killed Akintola still be roaming around our ancestral landAre you not omo yorobaa? what the f-k are you waiting for? You and your children can lead the charge and other will follow! Blaady kaward! |
cKaiser: I hope your people would be able to take it when the Yorubas reply with their own xenophobic acts on Arthur Ezes kinsmen especially those living in the SouthWestWhere was a certain Ademola Adegboyega and what role did he play in all this? And who the f--k in Banjo? |
ba7man: They might all be below expectation.......but the lot you guys vote in and tolerate are on another level in terms of Governance......Shifting the goal post? Knock yourself out! |
edo.girl:The President is human; I doubt if he didn't suffer casualty during the said war. Do you know why the President's region is among the least developed in terms of Federal presence despite being resource rich? Why did the president have to walk to school without shoes as a child? The President doesn't have to call the man to order, what the President need to do is to explore the truth in what the man said. Hopefully, the National Conference would shed more light on what need to be done to prevent the like of Arthur Eze's of the country from voicing similar frustrations. Calling him to order in the name of unification is what has been done since the war 'ended', do you think it's working? |
ba7man: The joke's on you lot. And you wonder why you don't have leaders to be proud of.On Nigeria perhaps. Show me one Nigeria leader you guys are ever proud of, and I will show the world a liar! |
edo.girl:Yeah right!. They should rather pretend so that all will be well and dandy? No wonder the country is so warped and stunted, when you have people smiling at you while concealing innate hatred and malice deep in their hearts. Sorry dear, I'll rather know what you think of me than the superficial show that is common among the SW. Arthur Eze is an old man, by his reckoning. When do you want him to say it the way he feels, in his grave? Awolowo killed Igbo people and cheated them of their money; every Igbos know this, and most Igbo say it. Yorubas should come to terms and deal with it, simple! |
Arysexy: This is d party they want us to vote, APC d party with d only mandate to return power to muslim north and a south west VP. wot is our stake in APC?They on a looooooog thing! Imagine the way Yorubas are carrying an Anambra election on their head. |
ba7man: Well, the Igbos can go ahead and vote these people in, its not my business.................But when they end up mis-ruling their States and they're running to the SW to avioid what they created in their States (While criticizing SW Governors and Swesterners).........Na dat one go cause fight ooo....They are not running to SW. They are going to other part of 'NIGERIA' because the constitution say they could, as members of Nigeria. As soon as SW becomes Odua Republic, they can write laws to prevent such migration. Until then, shut-up and enjoy the program. Blame Awolowo and co for not allowing the Igbo to leave when they wanted, |
KIRIJI: Tunde bakare, femi falana, wole soyinka, and other members of the SNG took to the street of abuja and fought for GEJ when turai yaradua was sh1tting on him. When the 'cabals' prevented Gej from gaining access to the seat of power in aso rock shortly after the demise of yaradua, it was the yoruba intellegentsia that fought for him. Now he is looking on while the name of obafemi awolowo a man whom the yorubas revere is being ridiculedThey didn't fight for GEJ; they did what they thought was right. And their efforts would have been in vain, until our own Amazon - Dora Akunyili, stepped up and routed the cabal from within. It was Dora Akunyili, not the noise-makers on the street that turned the table against the sinister cabal. Know your history son, |
KIRIJI: During his 2010 presidential campaign at osun, Gej refered to southwest politicians as rascals. Here he is again at anambra, approvinng a smear campaign againt obafemi awolowoI don't see the smear campaign here. Awolowo killed Igbo with his starvation and 20 pounds policy - many Igbos believe this. Whether you do or not in immaterial. Now Anambra is an Igbo State and PDP and APGA are not Awolowo's party. Politicians will do whatever wins them the local votes. If saying the things Awolowo did against the Igbos during the war wins votes, then by all mean they can and should go ahead. After all, Awolowo said of his starvation policy that "All is fair in war." Perhaps the Anambra politicians should use that comment to hit home the point that Awolowo was a sadistic Igbos killer. Again curse upon hims, and blessing upon Yoruba folks who detest his war policies. |
Reverse engineering at work. You are on a long thing. Come back in 38 years. |
Dissecting.... Baba_Eleko: Yesterday, the entire People’s Democratic Party appeared to descend on Anambra to push the gubernatorial candidate, Tony Nwoye into winning an election many pundits think he won’t. He has been involved in litigation over who is candidate for the pasty for the past few months – and has been late to the campaign trail. Drunk on the wine of now-possible success, the PDP bigwigs at the event – including President Goodluck Jonathan – found it a bit difficult to control their tongues. We bring you some of the statements, thanks to Premium Times, that were so bad, they’re almost unbelievableWhat made the comments so bad or unbelievable. Let's see “50 per cent of the private jets in Nigeria are owned by Anambra people” – President Goodluck JonathanHe gets security and intelligence briefs. He could be right. “I told Gov. Obi to hand over to this young man,” – PDP chairman, Bamanga TukurNothing bad in sounding off or making a joke of an issue. “Today we have for the first time in history, a candidate from Anambra North. I’m sure that the people of Anambra North will do anything to put their son, Comrade Tony Nwoye, into the Government House come 2014” – Senator Margaret Okadigbo"Today in PDP," he meant to say. Nothing absurd in this comment. “If it is not Panadol it can never be like Panadol. This is a party that is deporting your sons and daughters and demolishing their shops” – Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio said.I couldn't have said it better. This is called hitting the bulbs-eye. Didn't APC government deport Igbos? Didn't APC government demolish and closed their shops? When it was being done, didn't they know such actions have political ramifications? Or is that APC are more clueless than they look? “Mr. President, kidnapping in Anambra is a lucrative business” – Governorship candidate, Tony NwoyeLucrative but deadly business that needs to be put to an end! I agree! Enter the Billionaire. However, it was apparently PDP board of trustees member and billionaire chairman of Orient Petroleum that went on the most expansive roll: Take 1: “For many years the orphans and widows in this state were neglected, until God brought Jonathan from a village in Otuoke. The same thing happened to Tony Nwoye, from a village called Nsugbe. They have no money,” Mr. Eze said. Those without shoe, and from poor background have better sense of justice and fairness. A good example is the current President. So I agree with this comment. Take 2: “That short man called Ngige, we gave him power and he went and joined Awolowo’s people; the people that killed the Igbos.”The short man happens also to be an accomplished election rigger. And yes, Awolowo killed Igbos, and robbed the living of their money. And he was proud of it. Curses upon him. But not all his yoruba people are like him, blessing upon the good ones especially those who didn't agree with his starvation policy and the 20 pounds robbery! Take 3: “Peter Obi, we gave him power, he did not conduct election for eight years. He was busy building mansions and marble houses everywhere.”I don't know why Obi didn't conduct election, but why did the opposition fold their hands and watch. Don't they know the way to the court? Marble houses? Is that true? Take 4: “Anambra people, let us change your lives while we are still alive.”For the better? That would be nice. And for good measure, he appears to be in tune with the life expectancy average in Nigeria under the leadership of his favourite president. “”I’m 65 years,” Mr. Eze declared at the rally. “And I’ll die very soon.”Just ensure you leave a good legacy. That's all! Let no one stand between an old man and his wishes.Death is inevitable. Young and old both die, legacy is what matters. Dissecting ... ... Done! So where are the ridiculous statement that the op and co are foaming in the mouth over? Some people self get issue! Source: http://www.ynaija.com/ngige-joined-awolowos-people-who-killed-the-igbos-see-10-of-the-most-ridiculous-things-said-at-the-pdpanambra-rally-yesterday/ [/quote] |
Sadly all the contestant for the Anambra State election are mediocre;nevertheless, I think pitching our tents with Obiano will help salvage whatever is left of APGA and SE potential bargaining to tool. Thumb printing for APGA is task that MUST be done! |
One of the cards looks Photoshopped. The second one. |
lol, Nice one elephant. A preview of the fight between PDP and APC. ![]() |
Afam4eva: Why's APC running after Thieving PDP governors. have they forgotten that APC is for progressives? The APC know that some (if not all) of the nPDP governors are corrupt; and that protection against EFCC is one of the demand they have made of as condition for reconciliation. APC is ready to offer them these protection, at the very least if they come to power, in exchange for these Governors help in rigging election in their states. But the nPDP are not sure if APC will win the election, let alone offer what they promise, hence the waiting game. The 'progressive' touted by APC is simply marketing jiggles. There is nothing progressive in a party run by Tinubu a crook, and Buhari, who tacitly support violence. Unless criminality and terrorism is now the new definition of 'progressive.' |
james_ibor: Also worthy of mention here is the fact that during the time these people held sway, there was relative peace and tranquility in all regions of the country but as soon as the status quo changed in 1999, Nigeria has never known peace. From the introduction of Sharia in many northern states post May 29, 1999 to Boko Haram of the present day.Well noted. It's all part of the campaign of terror to ruthlessly resist power change! We must stare down terror and tell them they have failed to intimidate us. |
No rushing, Aliyu tells APC to exercise patience Our Reporter November 7, 2013 13 Comments » No rushing, Aliyu tells APC to exercise patience From AKIN ALOFETEKUN, Minna https://sunnewsonline.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Governor-Babangida-Aliyu-copy-612x300.jpg Governor of Niger State and leader of the G7 of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors, Dr. Muazu Babangida Aliyu, has advised the chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to exercise patience for him and his colleagues to make up their minds on what to do with the ruling Peoples Democratic Party. Aliyu stated this in Minna when chieftains of APC, led by its national chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, visited him on Tuesday evening, to woo him into APC in the face of the lingering altercation in the ruling party. The Niger governor, who was a little short of accusing APC leaders of impatience in their membership drive, said a decision must be taken by the G7 governors on the PDP one way or the other, before deciding on the next line of action. “We are still discussing, we are still negotiating. I want to assure you that if we eventually settle, we shall treat you as friends and if we fail to resolve, then we shall consider your proposal.” Aliyu, who is the chairman of the Northern States Governors Forum, admonished the ruling PDP to wake up to the stark reality that no condition is permanent, warning that the party in power today may find itself in the opposition tomorrow. He, therefore, urged PDP to be mindful of how it relates with the opposition party. He reiterated his earlier assertion that the coming of APC was a welcome development for the nation’s democracy. According to him, the APC was a strong opposition that Nigeria needed for its democracy to blossom. Akande, in his opening address, said the party chieftains were in Minna to woo Governor Aliyu into the party, wondering why a gentleman of Aliyu’s caliber should choose to remain in a party that does not appreciate him. Other APC leaders in the entourage to Minna included former head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari, former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; former Foreign Affairs Minister and national chairman of the defunct National Republican Convention (NRC), Chief Tom Ikimi; former Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari and former governor of Edo State, Chief John Oyegun. Buhari and Tinubu in their speeches, told their host that APC was formed to bring about positive changes by way of good governance to Nigeria. http://sunnewsonline.com/new/cover/rushing-aliyu-tells-apc-exercise-patience/ |
theoctopus: That should be Babangida alliu! The shortest ashawo among them!Lol, The man short, no be small. Thanks man. Well, let hear what their customer have to say. Sincere 9gerian: ^^ The govt is already working on fast rail lines covering Lagos-Sagamu-Ijebu Ode-Ore-Benin (300km); Benin-Agbor-Onitsha-Nnewi-Owerri-Aba, with additional line from Onitsha-Enugu-Abakaliki (500km).Well, we'll see how it goes. At bolded I hate the fuel subsidy, it's a monumental waste of resources to subsidize consumption, and encourage cross-border smuggling. I support total deregulation of the downstream sector such that fuel price will be subjected to market force. Anyway, experience tells me that sooner or later it's un-sustainability will eventually cause a reaction. |
Abeg who is that dwarf among them? Una go wound persin ooo ![]() |
kingoflag: Your Railway system is still comatose and the cars are only fit for transporting cattle not humansSo why are are friends up North no making use of such delivery system? Do you know how many clashes with farmers would have been averted and lives saved? So whether it transport man, cattles, or raw material. Nigerians will rather have it that what existed pre-fresh air era. @topic, Nice one Mr. President, I hope there is provision for rail tracks on the proposed new bridge across the River Niger. Let's enjoy this FRESH AIR to the max while it last. |
holyvirgin: Where is Amaechi in the pics?Lol, By his hat, you should know him. He is the man in the 'middle ' of all this! ![]() @topic, Very apt! |
patrickmuf: Asari Dokubo, read and learn...talking about passionate activists, do we still have them in 9ja?If Asari Dokubo didn't have a gun, no one would have noticed him let alone call him an activist. The nigga man is a son of the gun. He's not foolish enough to be slaughtered like Saro Wiwa. |
Sadistic dwarf! |
Prince 08: No apologies bro. Evil that men do live with them. They are reaping fruits of their heroes past.Quit it already. Our people have long gone past our differences with the middle belt - Benue and Plateau inclusive. Besides some of their youth have apologized for and have actively sought reconciliation. You need to move on. @topic We (Igbos) join our brothers in Benue to strongly condemn these attacks by cattle herders. We urge the FG to send troops to protect the innocent farmers of Benue and also find permanent solution to the menace of cattle rearers, usually of fulani stock. |
Never say never! But if the man is talking about 2015, I agree he is on point. APC, though people by strange bedfellow might get it right in future when the likes of Tinubu, his stooge - Fashole, the bigoted and incoherent Buhari amongst others, exits the party and allow true progressives to run it. Til then, Tinubu and co are allowed to continue to gathers the votes and sell to the highest bidder - PDP. |
The writer is on point. The APC is already a conglomerates of strange bed follows - tagged a 'contraption of pain and anger' by one the PDP governors they are wooing. Will the fellow who so tagged them be willing to eat his words and join such contraption? Lets assume he does, how many PDP governors is APC willing to take into it folds? Will they be content taking in the G7, or would they prefer G12 or G-ALL? During the 2005 banking consolidation, there was an illustration of improper type of merger depicted by a picture of animal that is neither a fish or foul. APC is already such type of merger as we speak. I only wonder what other kind of animal it will be when these renegade PDP members finally join. The contraption will certainly be beyond pain and anger to something more bizarre and grotesque. I wish APC Goodluck in their desperate effort to capture PDP members. I hope they succeed in capturing them all. |
Punch has lost all credibility now. It has become a tool for politicians and canals. It is now junk newspaper, and promoter of hate campaign. what a calamity to befall such hitherto good news paper. |
