Why is someone trying to stoke up sympathy for this fellow. The guy's life (if indeed in danger) is primarily as a result of his own irresponsibility, and secondly because he has a snitch (el-rufia) as friend. His friend el-rufia who he probably likes and respect gave up his name, not caring what happens to him, provided he (rufia) is safe. I pity you though, Ogunyemi Bukola aka @zeebook, but I wouldn't have known who you are if not for el-rufia. In the bigger picture using chessboard anology, you are a pawn, el-rufia is an officer on the board. You my friend (Ogunyemi Bukola (@zeebook)) are the sacrificial lamb. Your best chance is to fight dirty! Nigerians should also hold the snitching midget (el-rufia) partly responsible for your palaver (real or imaginary) |
1800bc: you too get sense PointB.... the man na snitch, he casted his paddy wen the heat still dey warm....if it were in the US now,na gang drive-by shooting them for use annihilate am!Lol, my sister That was the first thing I noticed in his apology. El-rufia had to save his neck we understand, but snitching on a friend in matter like this is a very bad thing to do. El-rufia should know better, but he probably lacks honor and class. I don't wish for his death anyway.. |

Like it or not, the 'clueless fisherman' has score another victory. Kudos to the JTF and FG for mounting relentless pressure on those dastardly coward boko boys who derive joy killing innocent people and children! The JTF should immediately commence mop-up operations. These cowards need to be brought to justice. Their conditions and terms are just pipe dreams; they belong to the jail or be rewarded with chipolopolo (copper bullets) between their eyes! |
I like the thread topic (though it could do with editing). And in the spirit of looking beyond this pretentious apology for blasphemy there seems to be an aspect many of us are missing - betrayal of trust and friendship! Has it ever occurred to any of you that there is something very wrong in the way, speed and manner el-rufia quickly gave up the name of the person who tweeted the initial comment as Ogunyemi Bukola's (@zeebook) ? Wouldn't it have been better, if el-rufia simply stated it was a tweet by a friend which he ignorantly (or whatever) concurred/retweeted? Does his apology or defense absolutely mandate him to give away the name of the original source as Ogunyemi Bukola (zeebook)? Couldn't el-rufia simply have accepted responsibility for endorsing the tasteless tweet rather than trying desperately to deflect the blame to his 'christian' friend Ogunyemi Bukola's (zeebook)? In my book, this is akin to betrayal of trust and friendship. El-rufia in his desperate bid to save his own neck, hang his friend Ogunyemi Bukola (zeebook) out to dry. This clearly is indicative of the nature of person rufia is. He is someone friends cannot rely on; someone who easily give up friends for simple opportunities (real or imaginary). If el-rufia can hang his friend out to dry, I wonder what he will do to his enemies (real or imaginary). Beyond Rufia's pretentious apology for blasphemy, I also wonder what Ogunyemi Bukola aka zeebook, would be feeling and think of his 'friend' el-rufia! I just wonder. |
demmie1: so na for youre house babatope commands respect abi? Can't you just reason for once? Olu falae, although respect by me, and babatope are for now not relevant in theI get it now. You take cue from the identity thieving fraudulent vagabond - emperor Tinubu. I get it. |
ilugunboy: You are such an inconsistent fellow ...I pity these easily impressionable young lads on this forum following your footsteps and taking counsel from youYou are just asinine. I bet if your life depend on it you won't be able to pull a thread to prove the point your muted. I know myopic folks like you will not see anything good in this gathering because your gods Tinubu and Buhari are not part of it. Silly stocks! |
HNosegbe: Again I ask, for what purpose? And why Buhari, of all people? Why can't the OP dig up some dirt on OBJ, IBB, Jonathan, Tinubu, Atiku or anyone else? What's with the fascination with Buhari at this time of the night? Why not? |
HNosegbe: And what EXACTLY do you hope to achieve by creating this thread? If those are true, then it's really worth knowing them. Or you think we shouldn't have all the facts? |
take dat: Numpty, you do not have to hold public office to be termed a leader but these men in question pride themselves as political leaders when most of them command no followership and respect from their people! That's according to you. Ekwueme commands a lot of respect across Nigeria; likewise Chief Olu Falae, and Babatope, and host of others. Even so does Edwin Clark among the Ijaw! So please keep those myopic opinion about them to yourself, it is not shared by the majority! |
ekt_bear: Sounds like a good development to mePlease tell that your folks. They don't seem to understand the larger picture. I guess provided that power doesn't get to the SE, every thing is cool by their reckoning. Even if we continue to retrogress to stone age. |
seanet01: No wonder Oju-Iku who can not win a Senatorial election in his Senatorial district was accepted by ibos to lead them to a Senseless war where they ended up being massacred in millions and their a.z.z. Kicked out for them.Same tirade everyday, I guess you learn by rote! Did you perchance attend an almajiri school? You are so good at this rote thing, you could get a medal for it at almajiri olympics game!! ![]() |
take dat: Must you always act a foo.l at any given opportunity? Keep you pottymouth and filthy fingers to yourself abeg!Olodo, answer the simple questions! PointB: So it only those who contest and win election that can/should be termed leaders? What kind of education did you get? |
take dat: You only notice the dichotomy and union among politicians when it suits their interest. Men who can hardly win election in their wards calling themselves leaders! So it only those who contest and win election that can/should be termed leaders? What kind of education did you get? |
captainbraide: IF BIAFRA HAD WON THE WAR,WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA?ARE THE IGBOS,BETTER THAN THE NORTHERNERS,KNOWING FULLY WELL THE WICKEDNESS PEPERTRATED BY THE BIAFRAN MILLITARY,SUPPORTED BY THEIR OWN PEOPLE ON THE PEOPLE OF THE NIGER DELTA?Must you type all these B.S in full caps, rendering it unreadable. Guy, go and learn how to properly communicate in a public forum and revert. |
seanet01: You will wait till eternity if you think this people have anything to offer The South.I guess your tirade is because Tinubu is not listed? When he finishes decieving Buhari, perhaps then he will get that phone call. Until then, these guys should go ahead with their summit. |
About time the South rallied together and confront the problem in one accord. It's a just a shame that characters like Edwin Clark is assuming leadership of the group. Nevertheless, I hope the find some solution to the question of equity in the polity! |
Omo_Tier1: These days you come across as unreasonably reasonableIt comes with the territory! |
Boss13: You are a very annoying person.lol. I didn't pledge to make you happy. Perhaps you should try Disneyland or any of your favorite cartoon! |
One of the qualities of good people is guarding your utterances! El-rufia has failed this test again and again in his bid to score cheap political point. This cut, is the most unkindest of them all. But we will forgive, but never forget the assault on christian and christianity, and we will certainly remember this prior to 2015. |
kingoflag: Seriously, do you guys have mental problems or is it just in your genes to always ignore the truth and base everything on only tribe and religion.Thunder fire your blokos for this comment. Your level of intelligence is very questionable if that's all you could decipher from my comment. |
If and when MEND move to assert control over Niger Delta oil resources, I think the most they will get from Ndi Igbo will covert, and propaganda support. But I don't see any major front opening by MEND until say 2015. Even that, that would depend on the political reality of the day. MEND is slowly becoming extinct in any case. |
The incontrovertible fact remains that under Ribadu's watch corruption festered in many part of the country, north inclusive. Ribadu has the power and mandate to check the problem he is presently pontificating on, but he chose rather to pursue the interest of his godfather obj, to the point of being seen by all and sundry as an attack dog and political witch-hunter of the then president. It is incumbent upon elected/appointed officials to discharge their duties well without fear of favour, as not to be caught in this sort of shameful act of hypocrisy. Ribadu should start by apologizing to Nigerians for having failed abysmally to curtail these shenenigans and corruption when he had the power to do so as EFCC boss. Now because he is warming up to ask for our votes, he has the grown big balls to wag his tongue. Nigeria politicians are all cut from the cloth - crooks! |
A sordid and damning exposure of obj. I hope rufia is not biting more than he can chew. Obj does not forget nor forgive. |
Retweeting and laughing at such a sick joke show exactly how irresponsible and reckless el-rufia has become. A sensible person would have called the initial poster to order. I guess common sense is beyond el-rufia! |
eggheaders: I gat problem with dullards like you.now is Niger Delta oil money.cause the best brain from your region turn up to be a fumbler with the nation wealth.you are a good example of the Nigerian failed education system. We need to examine the etymology of your monika - eggheader. It's either you are indeed too focused on theories and ideas that you fail to see what is practical, or your head indeed is egg-shaped. Either way, too bad for you. Now run off, if you have nothing meaningful to contribute to the topic, egghead. |
Now this is the hypocrisy I hate hearing. Why does he have to bring in Nzeogwu in a matter that is strictly directed at Northern Governors? Couldn't he make his comment without bringing in the man they so much detested in the North for trying sanitize the system. Anyway, that's by the way. But I will not rush to praise Ribudu for this 'attack' cos I perceive another layer of hypocrisy in effort itself. As substantial period of the 1999 - 2010 period covering Ribadu's interest happened to be when he held sway as the Head of EFFC. His job then was to prevent the type of corruption he is pointing at. Or to detect and prosecute. How well did Ribadu do his job within the period under review? And what took Ribadu so long to voice out? I see 2015 written all over this outburst! |
One_Naira: You can say that again. Oil would be Nigeria's biggest downfall even BH can not do the damage oil will.True talk my brother. Oil money will be Nigeria's doom. But before that, let's see how this latest drama will end. |
This Niger Delta oil money that Nigerians are united in stealing will cause katakata to burst in this country sooner than later. Abeg make I pick ringside seat to watch this drama unfold. If only part of that money (whether 40B or 60 B) was spent to construct 2nd Niger bridge, complete Onitsha port, and Enugu International Airport, and power project, my leaning would be clearer. Ngbanu Round 2 - Fight! |
Negro_Ntns: im an expert on biafra and i can tell you that biafra will happen before another ibo become president in nigeria.Keep clowning... |
Ngwakwe: In Nigeria, before money is spent by the Government, it must passed through some processes, but before that, it receives approval as in yearly budget by the National Assemblies and then signed into Law by Mr President. My thoughts exactly. Nigeria is a sovereign (suffering) entity; suffering yet sovereign. It owns UK no explanation, and does not render public account to the UK, just as the UK does . It is only accountable to it people and governmental structures. I think Cameron over-reached here. He should pay more attention to the UK economy and their financials. By the way, wasn't UK a world and economic super power not to long ago? Which of their clueless minister took eyes of the ball? What are they doing about it? |
