Akpabio was govr between 2007 to 2015, udoedehe was one of the key instruments that helped akpabio to hilltop mansion in his first term. A Deputy Governor can take his principal to court, and pray the court to give interpretations to the relevant laws on which the Governor claimed that he acted upon. For instance, issues like treating the affairs of the state from outside the state while he was outside the state on an unofficial visit, but the Deputy was available on ground. ... Another issue is: bringing an official document to the Governor at an unofficial merriment party, after he might have gotten tipsy after downing some glasses of alcoholic drinks Which court, high court that is under the firm grip of the governor... |

All these ur write-ups r inconsequential when it comes to Nigeria political scene. In Nigeria deputy, vice is inconsequential unless ur governor or president is an astute man of integrity and strong disciple of rule of law, justice, equity and fairness and also isn't power hungry. We saw how documents were flown to london for a sick buhari to sign meanwhile the vice president was in Nigeria. Most appointments were done from london, the appointees were flown to london to take oath of appointment. It also happen in states too, in kogi the state deputy govr was harrassed and abused and also sidelined from administering his constitutional duties, he was eventually impeached by the state assembly being under the influence of the govr. In Nigeria every leader choses which constitutional decrees and sections to obey. So u can see under Nigeria political play, deputy govr is inconsequential. |

chatinent: It irks me to realize my weak carpenter grandfather in the village who buys trees and turns them into logs, then to chairs used for public schools will have to be paying taxes.
After Ndubuisi gets a car for Uber on hire-purchase, after he pays taxes buying fuel, buying tickets, bribing soldiers and policemen on the road, evading accidents, and dodging more portholes than roads...he will still have to pay the extra taxes for bearing the appellation of being a taxi driver. However, those having about fifty cars for entourage alone are called senior citizens.
In saner climes, the rich understand that he pays more taxes because of more assets. In Nigeria, the rich rejoices that the poor augments their assets with their taxes.
Welcome to a country that releases budgets every year but doesn't balance accounts after the financial year.
Welcome to the Fraudral Republic of Nigeria. Everybody pays tax in Nigeria. Bacteriologist: Vice President isonu.
Selectively picking stats as usual to paint a false picture and please this failure of a government.
India also has a mammoth GDP (almost equal with that of Japan and Germany) but that's just because it's a highly populated country. We all agree that the quality of life in India is nowhere near that of the Japan or Germany.
Ekiti has a GDP of $2.8 billion and a population of about 2 million people. That's a GDP per capita of $1,000.
Seychelles has a GDP of $1.1 billion but a population of over 100,000. That's a GDP per capita of $11,000.
Clearly, the seycheless economy is almost 11x more efficient than Ekiti State. Ekiti state has no viable means of generating income, except for its schools. EKSU students pay as high as 100k for acceptance fee in the state university.
Seychelles is a tourist and agro-based economy, it is one of the most (if not the most) attractive places to visit and live in Africa. Nothing of that sort can be said for Ekiti. No production. Just spending and vibes.
A more effective measure of any economy is GDP per capita (per person). But as usual these dark souls cherry pick stats to paint a false image. I spit on this government based purely on lies. No mind osinbajo, he wants to follow peter obi in reeling out stats of countries. His own stats don suffer hard starting. Rare whatever, ur veepee stats doesnt reflect true realities on ground. Infact to paint it in a true position, seychelles GDP per capita is much better than ekiti state GDP per capita. |

Vaughanlanrewaj: So much for your failed upbringing when you use these ungodly and horrible words to cover up your inability to read and comprehend what was written up there.
If Lawan was like you at your age, cursing everyone whose life reminds you of the success ,perhaps your parents never had, and that hardwork and humility bring to a purposeful individual , today, Senator Lawan won't be a PhD holder and become a Senate President , despite coming from a humble background and obscure village in the northern Nigeria you look down on .
I don't need to meet Senator Lawan in person to know why he is a success today. One of it is obviously humility that you lack or was not raised with as a value .
Before others carry on with your arrogance and poor character, what Senator Lawan opposed is the release of the funds to the MDAs unless they defend it before the Senate. In the past, the MDAs would have even obtained and finished those loans before Nigerians know and now start using EFCC to chase the corrupt public officials up and down after they have looted it like some of the questionable loans at all levels of government today.
Your pride is so obscene that I cringe that a youth could be this proud and toxic at such a young age because you have the privilege to hide behind a keyboard . It's preposterous and that's why the future of this great nation can't be in the hands of ill mannered toxic youths like you. Lawan is just an opportunist being who came from a region that have zero passion for education. He isnt humble, and being humble doesnt make one intelligent and smart. If lawan was to come from my state, akwaibom were there r more graduates than u can have in the entire northeast region, he will be humbly suffering. Lawan is a big fool for making the senate, a reverred institution that suppose to be checkmating the executive arm of govt, a rubberstamp institution. Everything and anything brought before him, he approves before it even goes thru debate by the parliament. |

With the unimaginable debt burden on ground and chronic indebtedness Nigeria is entangled in now, this stupid Ahmed Lawan-led rubberstamp senate should be commencing impeachment proceedings against this most useless president ever seen in histroy and not threatening MDAs to just defend another loan request.
The man is not only the most dull or lacklustre but equally the most useless SP Nigeria has ever got.Well he was heavily manipulated into that position.Just imagine where the interference in the legislation and judiciary by the APC govt has landed Nigeria. No separation of power between the tiers of government in a participatory democracy. He said although the senate had already granted the loan request, but u still want mdas to come and defend what again? This man is the most useless SP nigeria has ever had... I pray we don't have another one that will make lawan a better man. So if these mdas now come and say the loan shouldnt be granted, what will the foolish SP do... |

Righteousness2: Lawlessness has become the Order of the day all over the World.
Apostle Paul in his Epistle to Timothy tels us that in the last days, Society would be in a total Immoral meltdown.
2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NLT) 1 You should also know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.
We are in the Last of last Moments! All we are witnessing are the signs of the times. JESUS Christ is Coming! Anymoment! Anyday now, There will be a Shout from Heaven. Don't let yourself be a Casualty of the Last days Fever. REPENT From your Sins! Believe the Gospel and Surrender to JESUS Christ! Iyayoh! |
