Good question. Unfortunately, the answer is a bit tricky. My stand has always been "let the best man/woman get the job". But in Nigeria, we have our "Federal Character" to contend with when appointing political office holders.

This is poor leadership again at its best ..The action of the governor shows lack of vision and is part of the reason that Nigeria is behind today .. Just for the records a smarter visionary govt would have instead :

1 : revoked the C of O of the land .

2 : Donated the land and buildings to the Nigeria police to use as police outpost for the community or accommodation for police officers

3: instead of destroying those 3 cars he could have sold them and given the money to 3 serious youth to start a business or he could convert them to taxis and hand over to 3 deserving member of the public or better still converted them to police patrol cars for our police that is always in dire need of logistic vehicles
I guess the governor is still living in the stone age and doesn't understand what good leadership and management.

Yet you call yourself a "Christian" and defend your mentor. I forgive you for calling me stupid.

A lot of people have spoken on this thread and I read them all. More than 80 categorically said they saw the information. Less than 10 are consistently defending the man. And yes, you are a member of the cohort (in case you don't know what it means, Google the word). No one made me a speaker for anyone. I speak for myself and I relayed what was contained in this thread to you.

Nobody made you Suleiman's defender either but you chose to take on this as your existential purpose. Trust me, you should better walk away now before embarassing yourself and the man more.
Hmmmm. I really don't blame you. I thought I was arguing with someone that was intellectually sound. I guess I was wrong. Am arguing with a fool with bird brains!!!. What has religion got to do with this? Do you even.know my religion? How is religion related with evidence and facts? Seriously, you are very dumb!!!

Guesswork from a Lagos State official website? Guesswork that the accuser has asked the police to come and investigate?

Guesswork that information can easily be obtained about?

Guesswork on what exactly? That his car was in Okeke's garage? Or that his name turned up in the plate number search?

What is being guessed exactly?

Sahara Reporters never said he was guilty or not but simply that his name is linked to Otobo's car and house. No one can ask them to provide proof. Historically, Sahara Reporters has never been dragged to court for libel. What is it so? Are their "guesswork" so good?

So I ask again... Where is the guesswork in this? Did hundreds of people on this thread guess that "Apostle" Sulaiman's name would turn up on Lagos State OFFICIAL website for license plate ownership verification?

Like I said earlier, just let this issue be if it has no direct bearing on you. You and your cohorts have done more harm than good. The non-partisan persons in this matter, like myself, are appalled at the rate you defend this man even more than himself. I saw this thing with my own eyes and confirmed it severally. Are you calling all of us who saw it fools? I decided to take this issue more personal because of this thread.

Like I said, do less harm and walk away quietly. Nobody on this thread has been able to establish his innocence in this car ownership saga. The Op (kenny22 or so) is even worse off for embarrassing himself even when hundreds have told him that truly, the information was there.
What exactly do you.mean but all of you? Are speaking for.people or youself? Who exactly are you to speak for other people?
Me and my cohorts? That's deep. And I think you are really stupid for.mentioning that. Speak for yourself. Nobody elected you to speak on thier behalf
Christianity Etc › Re: False Evidence Against Apostle Johnson Suleman REVEALED. by pokipoki: 1:50am On Mar 14, 2017

Firstly, that website has always been opened and anyone could access the owner's information. Infact, in December, someone created a thread on Sulaiman's name appearing in a car in Okeke's garage. After the initial scandal, damage control was done and the owner information was removed. However, its removal was amateurish as it could still be viewed on the source code. They only hide the element using an HTML comment function.

When this issue came up again, someone realised that the information was still there if you used the source code. Many people, including myself, checked it and confirmed. Sahara Reporters must have checked it as well and confirmed.

It should be noted that this is a website built by the government strictly for this purpose in which it has been used so I wonder why you are trying to deflect the issue and causing more suspicions for the man.

Sahara reporters may have gotten even more authentic information on this issue and you wouldn't know because you didn't ask and your "Oracle" has not sued for libel so that the evidence can be presented. That is how things are done. If this was all a game, the "Apostle" should sue for libel and we'll know he means business.

The online truancy you and your cohorts are exhibiting only serve to convince more people of his guilt in the issue. Why take his defence so personal even when hundreds of people on this thread have verified to the authenticity of the said information?

As for me, I saw it myself and many others did. The page is still archived on the web for more to also see. The "Apostle" has not debunked it nor has Okeke. Sahara Reporters has not been sued nor has any official statement been made.

As far as I am concerned, this information is authentic until proven otherwise and the burden of defence rests on Sulaiman. What you guys are doing is counterproductive. There is a reason he asked his members to refrain from speaking on the issue in the first place.
If the information is authentic to you, so be it. For.me it is information without facts and evidence. The.funny thing is if Sahara Reporters had all the facts, I bet you that it would have published everything from receipts to building approvals. But they don't. They are only speculating. People should not speculate with people's lives.
The world does not work on innuendo. It works on beyond reasonable doubt. From.medicine, aviation, shipping name it. Everything works on facts, no room for guess work.
The Apostle does not need to debunk the publication nor the actress involved. All can be settled in court where evidence or facts will be tendered

That website was launched for public use and that was what it was used for. It is not a private website. It was built by the Lagos State Government for verifying car ownership as obtained in other countries.

You have no idea if Sahara Reporters requested for other proof of ownership other than the website and you cannot speak categorically on that unless you ask them yourself.

And that link is a safe link from internet web archive, generally known as the backup of the internet everywhere. You can google it and open the link from their website yourself.

Don't see only what you want to see.

This is not an issue of guilt or not but that his name is linked to that car and was suddenly removed. The question is WHY? (if he is not guilty)
OK. My reason for not wanting to.click and open the website is for security reasons.
Firstly, you mentioned the website was lauanched for public use. The question i want to ask is you as an individual, do you have an administrative privilege on the website ? (Can you control or change anything on the website). The answer is No. You can only view the website.
Lagos state government owns and control the website, therefore, any information on the website is at their prerogative.

Secondly, the website does not give names to owners of the vehicle. So again, how did Sahara reporters prove that the vehicle belongs to Apostle without trying to undermine the website. Recall I.mentioned that the proper thing for Sahara reporters is to get an interview from the owners of the site to confirm the information.

Thirdly, If Sahara reporters have asked for information about the owners of the vehicle and Lagos state government has not responded, then the proper thing is to keep quite about it rather than publishing information or news that they cannot back up with facts and evidence. Simply put, it is unverified news. Unverified news is fake news!!!!!
So how do you judge a man without proper evidence?

Open the website on your internet browser on a PC and click on view source.

The name was removed as damage control but it is still very much accessible on Internet Archive here: view-source:http://web.archive.org/web/20170312200210/http://www.lsmvaapvs.org/search.php?vpn=mus123ej
I won't open you link for personal security reasons. My point is who owns and controls the website? Is it Sahara reporters ? The answer is No. So the owners of the website can virtually do anything on their site. It is their property!!!!
The proper thing for Sahara reporters as investigative journalist is ask for an interview with the owners of the website for them to confirm the stories and not try to undermine their website. Without a verbal or written confirmation from the owners of the site, the story still remains unverified!!! An unverified story like any other thing is fake!!!!
That is proper investigative journalism.

A bosom friend of mine had this experience. though my story will be scrappy but responses from this forum can help him to get back his confidence and come out to share his experience.

This happened on Friday at Ikeja under bridge when he boarded a bus to Obalende while going back to his abode at Ajah axis. What made this system classical was time and duration as it was in the afternoon and it lasted for hours. He boarded a "commercial bus going to Obalende and the adopters announce their presence when the bus moved, with life ammunition they drove them to an uncompleted building off course their route. at the screen, they were thoroughly searched and all phones and other belongings collected. They did not stopped there as they were billed 100k each to regain there freedom. They were asked to call anyone that can help them with wire transfer. When they hesitated, they gave them a sample of what the have in store by shooting one guy on the head. He died on the spot and this drilling continued for 5-1/2 hours from 1:00pm to 5:30pm. He had to call a lot of friends and family till he was able to raise the fund. He transfer the money to account given to him and he was freed. He was released at Ejigbo area and he tried to report the case at police station there. This is where he was battered with words from the on-duty-officer who was demanding money to register the case from the person that was just robbed at gun point. To add salt to injury they said he should bring 250,000 so they can trace and arrest the account owner and prosecute the case.

This is painful as the person has witness someone murdered and the case should not be swept under carpet. The owner of the account is a good lead to these criminals.

Help broadcast this till justices is served.

Tell you friend pr better stil, post the bank account details of where your friend transferred the money. The area the incident happened and also name the police station he went to lodge the complaints. Also post other information that can prove that he was kidnapped for ransom.
