I understand you, but sincerely I was just trying to win a scanner for someone here. The first person that was nominated here was northbird. Then northbird said he doesn't want that we should nominate somebody else. but we already voted for him, so we agreed to continue voting for him and if he wins, he will give somebody else that really needs it. Apparently all the people that are pushing to vote and win the scanners don't need it.
I just followed the majority to vote, I thought we were trying to use our number here. next time people should talk too, rather than keep quiet.

Guess there's a disconnect in communication, do last I knew abt d scanner, was Madam rad saying she's giving 12 scanners as palliative and I totally it was strictly for dis house, but from what I'm observing now, it's seem more like it's zoning No hard feelings at all, just felt we have to understand silence and as well don't narrow anytin down to assumption... like I said some peeps have helped me here and as u can see its been a ascending drive, from Bolt to Uber to Indriver and we r moving with no fear against the unknown odds, even know I'm thinking of switching to baba iyabo at park who knows? I am actually in this type of situation right now. My own case is even worse because he is my elder brother with many years apart, married with children.

I got him a 2003 Toyota Sienna to use for transportation since March, 2020.

Agreement was for him to pay me the cost of buying the car only.


That car cost me nothing less than 1.9 million including registration and obtaining all the papers he needs to drive.

As at today, I have only received 300k from March till now.

First, he started with paying lesser amount than we agreed he would be paying monthly and only paid for just four months and that was it.

It's the third month that I have received zero naira from him. It is now one story or another.

I have just decided to count my losses and move on. I knew it would get to this because friends and colleagues warned me but I had to do what I can do for a brother.

My thought is that the story will start when he must have paid at least one million. I never knew it will be this early. A clean Tokumbo car that I bought by myself and shipped to Nigeria.

Sometimes we got to do what we can do to absolve ourselves of blames.

Such is life boss... one of those lesson if learnt I life is never to attach condition to help family or friends, just do the little u can and let it slide. But in a case where by the person is naturally blessed and you can see potential in the person, such you can help, good and bad r relative concepts.

For the better part of living, u don't run business with family, only in few case things turn out well and in a case like this, u want to help him I guess, not business partners. For this reason, here is a free advice, but won't mind a bottle of wine for saving you this stress... Gift him 500k by giving him a target to raise 150/200k and if u can give him 700k out of 1.8m, fine! 700k will get a nice clean civic 2004 that can help a serious mind folk to start being dependent enough to solve minor life issues(if he cant manage little, he still wont b able to manage much). Take this from me, this way u save yourself from family issue, bitter enmity for years that may pass to the children, losing all d 1.8 plus registration and fixing money.

We honestly can't help who we love, we can only do our little part and as d saying goes "heaven help those who help them self". If ppl on renting and HP is doing 20/25, even some did 10k and still have issues, then that person that knows u when u r nothing, that see's u when u were wearing pant, while using stick to roll tyre around during your childhood days, may take you for granted on a full scale and expect u to understand for the sake of maaaamaa. The ball is in it court

If you start a trip and see cash payment, inform your rider that you won't accept transfers. It's either they pay cash, or you will wait at an ATM for them, to still pay cash

Who do we blame? Lagos state govt for real... I received mine ard Marsha on Friday, these keke guys turn korope drivers, drive as if they r riding keke, they break all many of traffic rules, one way expert, no any form of safety measures in their vehicles and government act as if they don't see. I couldn't get over what possible ways to tame this people, but I feel if government make it necessary for them to inspect their vehicles every 3/6 months and get rid of anyone with unnecessary scratches, they will think twice, before driving anyhow.
