ikorodureporta: Naptu2, u'v not done justice to this post. I was expecting to see a real evolution from where you started, to the present day hip hop...
Before Dr Alban, you forgot the likes of Zakky Adzay, Weird Mc, Mc Smoke, to others like Dr Fresh, Intrudah, Def o clan, Nutty Pin, lyrical undertaker, chop d bone, swat root, etc. These were the days when the American scene had Pac, Biggie, Naughty by nature, Lost Boyz, wutang, etc, & the Jamaican Ragga crew like Buju banton, mad cobra, mad lion, capleton, Terry fabulous, etc That's what really inspired our artistes then.. U just forgot all those artistes that pioneered MMV - Mr Music & Video DJs contest, including the top DJs Waxy, Snoop tha Damaja, Fryo, Humility, Midas...& GML - MasterLee, plus the other oga radio rap presenters like Eddie & JAJ.. & Kennis Music
All these set of people evolved the hip hop scene
Mode 9 remains my favorite! Lemmi remove my cap for you, for Intrudah, Nutty pin and GML. I think Intrudah is that guy that carries lantern, Nutty pin with the old school hair and GML with the Ruggedman big bros sound track on solid vibes |

Felicity0001: Doesn't the same programm also meant to curb out driver with rating below 4.3 or there about?
Isn't the same program written so as drivers activity scores isn't affect thereby getting axed or penalize due to high cancellation rate provided the all protocols before cancellations are observed?
The other someone posted a screenshot of a rider with 1star rating. You now begin to ask yourself how come the program has such people and are still active making request in the system.
So, Brother man corruption, greed and indiscipline are the reasons for all of these. Even you're not ledt out because if we are to investigate or you're to be honest you'll know off trip was the reason for that high cancellation rate.
Anyways, man must survive but for the sake of next time learn to be more smart. I hope they unblock you soon so you don't loose your source of livelihood. Like I said "I believe", I didn't say "I know or its absolute", programming may not necessarily m?affect everyone automatically at once, it all depend on the database ur data falls. Let's leave this as its just a beer parlour talk and we r both not crystal clear how they do their thing, but one thing we should agree on, is about them having a standard and we should know their standard as a driver. I don't know what being smart mean, to me that sound insultive, but I'll let it slide. About being guilty and allowing riders with low rating. This is business and the riders seem to b d one holding the life of this business, not the driver nor bolt, they can switch with less discomfort, but it won't b that easy for bolt and drivers to do d same, so what's d essence of blocking riders hastily or is bolt ready to open cc for riders, where they can meet one on one to sought out things, do they even train riders in the first place? Think about that. So for guilty, I don't know what u r hitting at, I work with discretion, I'm sure you don't expect me to go for all trips or do you? Have you even been caught in situation where you have to cancel like 8 trips at interval, because you want to go offline or set destination trip, but the demand is too much and both won't let u do what u want to do? Fact is bolt is just one crazy app both riders and drivers enjoy using, maybe cos of it substandard and like Charly boy show "Anything can happen". |

People have similar issue and I'm yet to see anyhow get unblock via mail, so the best bet is just to wait till we can relate in our mother tongue one on one. |

NYCnextStop: You have a point cos I owe them around 1k+ before I was yanked off.
But I think it is automatic. I mean when you exceed the cancellation threshold and after a while you don’t balance the cancellations rate, the system will automatically yank you off.
Please any idea if Bolt’s Lekki office is open
Happy new month guys Hasten-ly waiting |

I believe its a programmed kind of stuff, wish I knew about the danger of tempering with passenger did not show on time or someone talked about it here. They may not b a solution to this until Bolt office in lekki starts functioning normal. |

Any idea if they will open next week? Hopefully, cos I see no reason for them not to work if banks can operate. I just feel they have issues right now and with the manner they are going about placing drivers on card, its obvious they need money to function fully... I just wish Uber can work on their heavy app and this 370 naira trip, well! Bolt will b a think of the past one day. |

Babadee1900: I parked somewhere on Bourdillon road Ikoyi to pee. I was halfway done when I looked back and I saw them with their towing van positioned in a way that I can’t fight it. Either I let them drive it or tow it. I beg to have it driven so I don’t pay for towing. After so much of going back and forth they agreed to take 10k.
I was alone in the car with the lastma guy that drove and I kept begging him 3k later increased to 5k, he didn’t accept when we got to their office at Sura, he said if I don’t do ‘normal’ he will drive the car into their compound then I can beg his superior with the 5k. I know better not to allow him drive into their compound. Sorry! Those sura lastma nah devil's headquarter... They don't have any form of mercy in them, with all the connection and adeniji stunt I pull, they still took 6k from me. |

NYCnextStop: not yet bro.
How about you... has your account been unblocked? unblock ke, when they still held ur account down, I've never check Bolt on twitter before, but I was forced to send a msg via twit, somehow came across this guy with same complain since 2 months and yet to be unblock... I think the only hope here is when they resume or their call line agent's starts answering calls, so we have to wait till they open lekki office. Inbtw I find this on twitter, how we go settle this matter now? Bolt said no transfer, yet this rider get some high on her right to insult drivers for doing the wrong thing. Crazy world! When abnormal becomes the norm, we Kind of forget what is right or wrong.

Babadee1900: The major reason why I cancelled is because of her location. If you go by what Bolt is showing you in that screenshot, you will end up wasting your time. If I decide to go the legal way to her address, this is what I have to do; from Total filling station Sangotedo where I’m parked, I will drive all the way down to Crown Estate after Novare mall to make a U-turn, then drive down to Road Safety for another Uturn, drive all the way down again to Blenco and enter Idowu Dabiri street, before I get to Lekki Peninsula Garden Estate where she is. Imagine all that stress for a trip that could end at 500 .
Assuming she’s going on a long trip, Lekki Phase 1, I will do it the illegal way. Na my area. I can relate boss, we r all in dis boat. |

Babadee1900: So a rider can have a rating of 1.0 and still be allowed to use the bolt app but they will be quick to block a driver below 4.4. Werey people.
I declined this one, I don’t want to start my day with a rider like this. The moment I saw her ratings my brain just they shout trouble trouble trouble abort mission abort mission This one is a bag of trouble, even if d rating humble her, I'm sure sometin still want to seek for fault in her. On d second tot ask someone doing life on both if he have another chance, what will he do? Surely I won't cancel *My reality* Davit & NYC, hope deh have unblocked u guy, finally I'm left with no choice than to romance Uber |

I check my balance today and saw 6640. Please what do I do. Is any one having same issues. Please guys always take note of ur closing balance at d end of the day. Bolt is playing tricks on us. I don't think its trick, they are just having either problem with the app or shortage of staffs that have been overwhelmed with task. dckng16: I think say nah only me detect their high commission these days, they charge you 20% on Cash trips and another 20% on the outstanding you are owing (card trips), its really annoying. And all these commissions being are being charged on a low cheap fares. How much will u keep for fuelling, maintainance and other expenses. They should look for into these cos it is not fair. 40% commission is too much. I think they are having issues, that why they have been doing all this mess up, even their line is not going and you can't review, it will come back as same, even my revenue and net is same. |

dckng16: This is another reason for block account, drivers needs to take note of, I have never heard they block people for this. Anyway I don't think it is a permanent block. You need to contact Bolt support, so that they can look into your matter. Set the radius on your app to 2KM so that you stop getting request from far distance and try as much as possible to limit client did not show and missed request I've never been block for dis reason nd my app is mostly on 2km. Crazy stuffs and mad cancellation happened yesterday, I kept getting this long trip from Ikeja and magodo while I'm in ketu, I won't embark on 29/23 mins PU ard 5pm |
