Everyday we read tales of drivers lamenting about being blocked by Uber-Bolt. But do you know that Riders are also blocked too?!

So yesterday morning one of my first trips was to drop off an Olosho at home. The client ordered the ride and asked me to send my account details after trip. Decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and it backfired. Ogbeni was still giving excuses as at afternoon. In annoyance, I reported him to Bolt, and Bolt called him. They then asked me to confirm to them when he eventually pays. Still had to send a reminder to client before he eventually paid around 5pm. And I immediately confirmed same to Bolt.

Only for Dude to call me this evening pleading I send a reminder to Bolt, that his account has been blocked since yesterday.

Just remove the head of the battery daily and it will mess up their records, while you combine with Bolt. Or find a way to locate the transponder and disable wisely.

I forsee plenty debts cos of cash trips. But the POS will be in their account?

Funny thing happened yesterday, didn't go to work so I on my huber app.. Got a request in Ilupeju going to gbagada. I picked up the rider and I decided to follow one way (just abt 50meters) to link up the Express. I knew what I was doing thr other route linking the Express was badly flooded and damaged.

Next thing police jump out from nowhere make I park. Na so I park, Olopa sharply enter my car.

Me: madam rider thanks jare don't mind this police people. She just smiled.

Na so, I drop rider for her house, next thing I hear phone ringing under the front passenger seat.

Na olopa phone, one old Nokia phone, na so I take get small phone..

And you talk about ridicule? Drivers here are being ridiculed daily by riders. They insult you on top your car, talk to you in derogatory manners and yet.... You take it all as a man, and move to the next trip

A policeman broke my friend's side mirror in traffic. We parked and reasoned with him responsibly...No shouts, no dragging. He finally admitted he was at fault and dropped 5k. Insurance paid for the mirror and we used the 5k to drink beer and Suya

If we had started shouting, maybe he would have oppressed us, and in the end we will be tagging Segalink on Twitter... In the end, we may spend more and may not get justice

The earlier you realise that this country and world can't get better, the better we are most likely to last long in it. Even Jesus asked his followers to seek peace, not justice...
You know why? It will be difficult to get justice in this world

Guys if you didn't participate in today's traffic, congrats. You re lucky. I was fully involved. Idado estate to Ojodu. Rider decided to go back to Lekki after more than 6 hrs in traffic. Just dey reach house since 2pm. The trip was offline and the lady won't add to the fare after even taking her back to Lekki. Local man just gentle.

I learnt some people are still on the road anyways.

The ones from poor homes that you would expect to be humble are worse. They try to order you by every opportunity. I always have a way of making them to shut up. Need I mention the ones from south east. The bulk of bad and repulsive riders are from there.

The issue of Transfer scams have been flogged here many times: Don't accept transfers. But no, for every two pages, we still read about how someone played a fast one with transfers.

It's painful reading stories like this.

If a rider says he's paying through transfer, tell the rider: Sir/Ma, I do not have a bank account. Please give me cash, which is the mode of payment you chose

Even the thief will have no choice than to think of paying you because the scam don burst.
