Nothing but the truth!
Though, sensible one can break the trip if no straight trip back to civilization appears. But TIME is important.
This thing goes side ways, the basic thing is understanding timing and hope for luck. On a nice Sunday morning if you see sangotedo for 15k from berger and the trip is maybe an hour? Bros run it. If you are fortunate to get 6k to VI immediately that's 21k in the beg within 2 hours. You can't do that with such time doing short trips.

Yesterday I cancelled a trip from Adeola Odeku to Budo estate Ajah around 3pm. Bolt was showing 7700 on a 1.9 surge with 47 mins. Everything is not as it seems and I don't want to be caught in that area around 5 when V.I is burning red.

This hustle need 100% wisdom.

sincerely, honestly, to God I do not understand, hmmmmmmm
It's possible this period if you are ready to put in the effort. There's trips, nah you go tire. Yesterday I did 57 on both apps and offline, they no born me well to on the app today. 6 days straight... my only motivation is winter, I don't want to stay in the sun waiting for trip next month. If they are no trips, I'll rather take a break and do something else next month rather than be sleeping in the car. And if January comes as good as December due to broaden knowledge of ehailing? Still I rise, we run it sharp.

Someone stole my style here grin no wahala

Thumbs up to Obinoral... he's new on the block, but his strength and what he gross is disturbing. The best start up I've even seen.

BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by pope191: 2:50pm On Dec 09, 2022
So I am having this funny and interesting case I've been trashing. Last week Friday as at 9pm, I got a trip from Surulere to Berger for 4800. On arriving to destination, it was a kind of family trip. A lady with twins (probably a year old), her presumed baby sitter and husband. They kind of did birthday at Surulere and was going home (Magodo). So, lots of load to pack and the normal me don't do that, but due to the twins I was a bit soft and talk to the man about the load being much, which he offered to add something to the fare as charter was demanding for 10k (bus tho).

So i roll, the lady being a rude person tried to spring her head and immediately got caution. Had too, I have been observing both of them argue needless and switching to me with such rudeness is a no go area (route wahala).

Ride of 42 mins took 1hr 22 mins, over delay and their stupid argument. Who to pay, the guy said he will do transfer, but his phone is down. OK! He has been trying to charge his phone all way, but phone not coming up. The lady said he only have 1400, guy man practically have to beg/force to get the 1400. Plead with me to drop my account, he will do transfer asap. Time fast burning, so I roll.

I've been calling guy man, he picked and promise to send the money on Saturday. Ever since, he won't pick my calls. I call the lady on Monday, she acted all nice and promise to get back. I made it clear to her that I won't be calling the guy again and if I am forced, I'll come back to where I dropped them to pull Felicity on them. Right now she is the one that booked the ride and as well called me, so I can't be going after someone I don't have business with. She blocked me, promise to send the guy number and right now, she is saying she doesn't have any business with me. The guy is not even is husband and they don't live together. What a case grin

Where that my wig again...

Good morning your honour and my fellow learned colleagues. Your honour/sir the case before us this morning is the case of Mr DJ V. Omoapena

I'll start by saying this emphatically. There's actually no one rule to a contract, beside an agreement signed and sealed by both parties and it is bind by law. When going into an agreement, use your 6, it is very important. What I see here is both party having some sought of close relationships and mixing it with business. Owner filled with expectation of one turn good, deserve another (according to my ibadan brothers).

Mr Dj, I'll start by faulting you and you made a very live wire statement in your claims. Which is extending the contract by 2 weeks after getting the car. Sir, you agreed to fix any damage incurred, trust me there are damages that may happen and can't be fix for the life time of the car. That's how the car will have to remain for the rest of it life.

Let's set emotions aside and who is involved. Business is business, either you are looping your partner into it or you don't meddle into his business. That's also his main source of livelihood I guess. Nothing wrong in telling him I have a business for you, 2 weeks travelling business and both of your should agree the terms of payment, if he wants to do such trips as well. If he is a human enough, after knowing it is your dad and choose to be kind enough in such deal(good for both). Both of you will reach an understanding agreement and laugh over it. Outright extension of contract with the hope of fixing damaged incur? O wrong sir.

Mr Omoapena, I think you are getting over familiar with your boss. Probably you are stressed out and it is making you to see less of him. Pardon me to say what I don't know... I want to believe you've changed the voice and way you used to talk to him from the onset. You attack his presumed person more than the issue on ground and thro all his claims, he is yet to attack you. That does not make you a perfect person. Investors are the most scary folks in business, you on the other side practically have nothing to be scared off until he recoups is cost of doing busines and you have paid better part of the money.

Learn to honour agreement and nothing like nearly or the world should help you to understand. If you default by 1 naira, the owner have the right to retrieve his valuable. If the contract goes by what he claimed? Then return the car for inspection every month. He has the right to ask for what you want to repair and know the state of the car as both agreed in the contract. Forget standard, you signed the dots of the contract with clear eyes and not under duress.

In this contract you still have a long way to go and since both of you are already on rough edges like this, I'll employ you to go back and study the contract very well.

Trust me, if I were Mr DJ, we won't be having chance to argue this, I am not saying he is right, but everybody is right in his or her own jurisdiction. I'll patiently wait for you and hope heaven's favour you. If not, o ti lo

What is best to do in situation like this? Forget who is right or wrong, manner of presentation do matter. Meet up with your oga, he was only being expectant, but you don shock em and I want to believe he may have seen some things he doesn't understand. Talk it out and tender an apology if you can (doesn't mean you are wrong). Everything in this life have an expiring date.

To edit later... get to go look for gas. Thank you
