Bluetooth2:Edmond Dakouru was the minister of state for petroleum in Obasanjo administration. You remember now? |
StOla:The dullard said he didn't know what subsidy means. And then preparing to pay the same subsidy he never acknowledge exists. So much for the oil industry knowledge. |
HungerBAD:Cowhead, what do you make of Senator Dino Melaye of the APC? |
With all due respect, all men and women of goodwill should join the Borno Elders to call for the set-up of a Judicial Commission of Inquiry with a view to unraveling the causes of the massacre of innocent Nigerians and members of the security forces by these murderous sect. The Inquiry should have the African Union as an interested observer. It should be empowered to summon any living Nigerian to testify. Any indicted persons should be prosecuted no matter the former or current position, if found guilty, they should be punished accordingly. We do not need an ICC in Africa. The whites are already biased and justice will not be properly served by asking them to adjudicate on the matter that they have not hidden their support for one party against the other. An African Union backed court can will be better placed to do the jobs. Hissene Habre is facing charges in a Senegalese court. We must get to the root of Boko Haram. We must unmask all the killers, their sponsors and sympathizers both civilians and military personnel, as well as local and foreign financiers, collaborators and intelligence providers. We must not allow these people to get away with mass murder. Anyone who thinks that Nigeria will have peace and prosper without retributions for these crimes against humanity is deceiving himself. "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34, “Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will give you over to bloodshed and it will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.” Ezekiel 35:6 |
themilanway:Zombie! We will assist you to gain freedom from mental slavery. It's more useful to think like a freeborn. |
themilanway:No thanks, I already have a direction to your slave brain. To remove the corroding infection. |
themilanway:And it took four months (April 1 to Aug 4) to come up with this appointment? Did the guy just come down from heaven? You are celebrating a laggard for making a belated appointment. Will this appointment make the price of oil to rise or increase Nigerian oil production quota in OPEC? Appointments are to keep the country running properly instead of running a country like Caliphate. It's what he should have done since 4 months ago. |
Lanretoye:And since the certificateless one can be the president at age 72, don't you think a PhD holder of younger age has a brighter chance.? |
philips70:With all due respect, none of what you put up here can be compared to telling the whole world that a section of your constituents would have been punished for not voting for you but for the constitution. None of what you put up here can compare with exposing your citizens to terrorists by removing their protection. Do you know what it means to expose people to terrorists? Those military checkpoints have served as barriers to invading terrorists. They have prevented their downward movements. It is not that they are not serving any purpose. The dullard just woke up and asked them removed. And what did we have, multiple bombings in areas where the terrorists have earlier been dislodged and where they have never been able to penetrate. By the way, all of what you put up here have not been disputed or regretted and to the best of my knowledge non of them has been apologized for. What you have now is a president making a statement in the morning and before afternoon you will see denials and or explanations of what the president actually meant. And it is recurring. They will deny at first and when a video evidence is produced they will start some lengthy explanation which itself need further clarifications. And it is not even limited to the country, consider a diplomatic embarrassment of Buhari "accusing America of supporting Boko Haram' that was prominently featured by foreign media. From what they heard him say, that is what they made of him. That's what they understand him to mean. But as it turned out, they had to issue a rebuttal. Those statements by Jonathan are unambiguous. He said stealing is not corruption, but DID HE SAY STEALING IS NOT A CRIME? Or what is the issue with stealing is not corruption that you guys kept on harping on? Is stealing the same as corruption? Is stealing the same as buglary, even? Corruption encapsulates many untoward activities; bribery, nepotism, abuse of office, embezzlement etc. Stealing has its own punishment while each corrupt act has its own. It's a different thing for you to disagree with a president's statement, it's another thing for the statement to depict vengeance or hatred for a section of your citizens. You are simply comparing apples with asala, Jonathan never spoke about any section of the country with HATRED (even when a section of the country did not hide their disdain for him) at least not publicly. Even when they assailed him endlessly and made the country 'ungovernable' for him as they promised. Buhari must come clean with us. He lacks the required intellectual capabilities to lead Nigeria at this period. He should have applied to be EFCC chairman or something else, not the president. Nevertheless, since he is the president all the same, you people should prevail on his to appoint qualified people to do the interface while he remains a figurehead at the background. |
philips70:Buhari's lack of education that you people want to bury and wish others should ignore is responsible for his many idiotic statements like the 97% voters against 5% voters and actions such as the removal of military checkpoints across the country. Those decisions were not based on any deep thought process or scientific or intelligent analysis but on hunches. No matter the supposed 'level of education' in Nigeria, not many B.Sc., M.Sc. or PhD holders would say such in public - not many. Being educated means one would base his judgment more on rationality and evidence and less on emotions and unverified claims. It's all about brain not brawl. We are not in ancient Sokoto Caliphate where leaders were chosen based on their battle experience. We are in a different time now, leadership qualities include an ability to think on one's feet. Buhari has continued to demonstrate his intellectual challenges at every point. It's even compounded by his age and years of idleness based on lack of any motivation for self improvement. It's not going to get better, no one can give what he doesn't have. Gowon went back to school to start a degree program after he was overthrown, he went on to have a PhD. Others have written books or founded institutions of learning. Buhari has exhibited an apparent lack of interest in scholarship and learning, for 30 years, there's not a single project he executed to show he has anything upstairs or that he wanted to remedy his challenges, no brain tasking activity since he left office. You his supporters would wish this was not so, but you are being scandalized by his faux pas every time. In the 2015 world, intelligent voters around the world would have weeded this kind or character out of the presidential race at the party primary level, but not Nigerians. The penchant for magical solutions to problems was the underlying factor responsible for this embarrassing situation which is now becoming counterproductive considering the amount of blunders being committed daily. |
By pandering to rumor and hearsay a leader could jeopardize his own security. Most people loathe people carrying out their normal duties efficiently. They will do anything to get such people out of the way, including blackmail. If the report that this guy was with El-Rufai throughout his campaigns and matters like this did not surface, then he should have been circumspect in taking decision. The guy may just be protecting him against some people who never even believe in his cause but who are now milling round him for what to eat. The CSO may have seen through their hypocrisy. The aspect of misappropriation of funds meant for his colleagues shows a flawed system in place. He should have been spared of distribution of funds to his colleagues. Why would they give him that role in the first instance? Is it part of his duties as a CSO to distribute funds? Is he the cashier of the government house or does he operate a bank? Nigerian governments should learn to follow laid down procedure especially when it involves money. Money is a very tempting object and it's not everyone that can handle it. Without a process put in place for checks and balances, El-Rufai will sack more than 50 CSOs for misappropriation of funds before his 4 year tenure expires. |
Mynd44:Is it even conceivable that a National Security Adviser would not be granted a license to drive a bulletproof car? Does it make any sense? Are we going to start questioning why the president himself is driving a bulletproof or bombproof car WITHOUT a license? Who issues the license? And why have they not charge him to court for being in possession of unauthorized items? What is the status of the case now? Has he successfully 'blackmailed' them by threatening to expose their 'involvements' in the insurgency or they really didn't find anything on him? |
Behold, Buhari's new NSO! |
TS2:What does it mean to be a son of a pastor anymore? A General Overseer just got converted to Islam in Ekiti as reported in the media. Meanwhile, IRK already exists in schools, they are talking of textbooks from Buhari friends being recommended text for federal schools now. What do you have to say to that? |
Is there any justifications for a president recommending/endorsing a particular author for anything? Does this dullard know that other authors too deserve to sell their books and also present to government for approval as a recommended text for public schools, but are now disadvantaged due to this unfavorable, non-competitive adoption by government? Why not allow due process to take it course in selection of educational text for schools' curriculum? Does it mean that textbooks are now to be recommended from the Villa based on Buhari's personal relationship or likeness of the author? By the time Buhari finished with Nigeria's governance structure and processes, even a Banana Republic will look better. |
jpphilips:But the Senate is part of FG. |
The author did not factor-in the huge debt that these states have incurred of which they willingly signed ISPOs for their accounts to be deducted at source. States have taken all manner of debt to finance their bogus projects which can be likened to modern day Tower of Babel. Osun State in particular experimented with all manner of debt financing; bonds, Sukuk, bank loan, Rivers State loan, Bourdillon loan etc to finance questionable projects like roads to no where, Ifa worshipers' pilgrimage to Cuba, Buhari elections and so on. How on earth would these states now be expected to drink their Fura de Nunu and still have it? |
azimibraun: How's this reckless statement visionary to you now? There's no way you people can ever be redeemed. It's pathetic! Presidents all over the world encourage their citizens to come and contribute their own quota to the system. There has never been a case in history where a country's leader will encourage perpetual EXILE. Does it occur to the dullard that some of the people he spoke to are employers of labour in that country who should be incentivized to come invest in their country? How will that add to Nigeria's problem? How does it sound to an average Nigerian at home, that their president is sounding hopeless about their economic well-being and indirectly encouraging them to seek asylum in other countries? What is all this? |
freedom96:Won ti de o o o, awon aja dullard. Which NDA did he graduate from? NDA of West Germany? |
mbulela:You are saying currency users stopped their 'panic buying' in 2 days and pronto, naira has appreciated right? Since you are showing a little interest in learning, I will try and assist you a little bit. Currency market is driven by demand and supply, but there's the third force, it's called SPECULATION. Currency dealers anticipate the rise and fall in demand and supply of their product and they act accordingly. When the CBN announced the blocking of 41 items from forex access, currency dealers would speculate that affected users would want to source currencies to take care of production activities in the immediate term, to prevent shutdowns. In the medium term however, companies will face realities and start making necessary adjustments. Because production in Nigeria has been going down 'for months', and giving an incite into the corporate decisions of companies even before this Punch report, currency traders will normally speculate the trend of demand, hence the appreciation of the naira. It can happen over a period of time, and it can happen within the shortest time. The cost of that appreciation are the reduction in production and subsequent job losses and reduction in GDP growth rate. While big companies can gradually adjust to the reality by cutting production, laying off non-essential staff, SMEs don't have that latitude, decisions are swift and very fundamental. As such, many people you know as workers today will be unemployed sooner or later. And many companies you see today will fold up soon. Do you understand now? |
loifez123: You are giving a false hope. It is not panic buying, it's called demand and supply. It is because businesses are folding up as you can glimpse from this report by Punch. If they are collapsing, there would not be any need to import raw materials and equipment hence reduction in the foreign exchange demand. With 50% cut in production, it means their forex needs has been cut down significantly and value of the naira might appreciate. But it is already affecting the GDP growth rate and will exacerbate the unemployment situation. Big companies (with financial muscles) will lay-off some staff (if temporarily) while SMEs will fold up till probably when things improve. It could be short-term or medium-term or permanent for some depending on how the dullard in Abuja respond. |
jaybee3:You had your MSc in Engineering without textbooks? That's serious. Tell us how these things work. |
jaybee3:Do you know what TAM or TAR means? Turnarounds (or TAR's) are scheduled events wherein an entire process unit of an industrial plant (refinery, petrochemical plant, power plant, pulp and paper mill, etc.) is taken offstream for an extended period for revamp and/or renewal. Turnaround is a blanket term that encompasses more specific terms such as I&Ts (Inspection & Testing), debottlenecking projects, revamps and catalyst regeneration projects. Turnaround can also be used as a synonym of shutdowns and outages. Turnarounds are expensive - both in terms of lost production while the process unit is offline and in terms of direct costs for the labour, tools, heavy equipment and materials used to execute the project. They are the most significant portion of a plant's yearly maintenance budget and can affect the company's bottom line if mismanaged.[1] Turnarounds have unique project management characteristics[2] which make them volatile and challenging. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turnaround_(refining) |
genearts:Dishonesty is a result of imbalance hormones according to a very recent study. Excessive presence of hormones testosterone and cortisol have been discovered to be responsible for lack of scruples in some characters. Cortisol especially was identified as responsible for the brazenness of unworthy characters. They will go to any length to justify their lies and other unscrupulous behavior. We can see such here in this excessively long winding illogical essay, concocted just to justify the lies that this guy believes. Fortunately in this matter, even your god, the dullard knows the limit of dishonesty. This is what he said very recently - "It will be dishonest of me to take credit for repair of Port Harcourt refinery" – Buhari https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttD5Tr-c9fQ |
MrMcJay:Again, your goat head's limitation is on parade. The supreme court is composed of 15 justices currently. 3 justices with Sharia law knowledge are to take up cases from the Sharia Court of Appeal, which in turn emanate from the Sharia Courts in States and the FCT The constitution stated clearly that Sharia should be for states that require it. It didn't say Sharia is for the entire country. Your dullard owner says it's his duty to spread it across the country. Get some learning beyond your infantile state. It'll assist you to gain your freedom from slavery. |
MrMcJay:Nigeria's supreme law is called the constitution, goat. Your dullard owner says he prefers Shariah and will work assiduously for its spread across the country and all you do is defend what you don't know. |
alfred5:The dullard doesn't believe in the rule of law. He believes in the Shariah. |
Max24:What do you make of this statement? "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." - Thomas Jefferson Actually, human sacrifice is one of the evil that Satan himself invented. Some people who seek power feel they must shed human blood, it's all over the world not restricted to Africa. Others are only discreet about it. Be that as it may, preservation of African culture should exclude human sacrifices. It is a satanic practice. The land will not be cleansed by human blood, the land will be ACURSED. The revered Awujale of Ijebuland has been at the forefront of campaign to discourage ancient traditional practices that have no benefit to the society, he has made giant strides in that regard. May God bless him.. Other monarchs should join him in the task of ridding Yorubaland of these practices wherever they are still being observed. |
Being an experienced cattlerearer the dullard from Daura sure knows how to direct and engage his herds well and he has been giving them self masturbatory tools: bogus newspaper stories of 'massive looting' everyday. And herds will always be herds, ever non-thinking and never questioning anything, just match on like sheep. Pray, what has happened to El-Rufai who used his real name and members of his immediate family for allocation of choiced plots in FCT? He even dared anyone then to allocate property to their enemies anytime they have similar opportunity when he was called out. El Rufai is their 'star' governor in Kaduna where he has been appointing characters of questionable pedigree to his cabinet without questioning from the hards. In this tales by moonlight, Femi Adesina's former employer didn't mention whether or not the purported 'allocations' follow due process or whether or not any laws have been breached, they already know that their herds are incapable of demanding details. |
SilentPrince:Female genital mutilation in the north? Please educate us more. Or do you mean VVF? |
hmohammed: If you people put your faith in and worship the Almighty God just 30% of what you put in Buhari the dullard, your life would have had tremendous progress. |
muh4lyf: Mr Man, the main topic is about the dullard ordering dollars to be sold to Christian pilgrims for N160 instead of the N197 naira official rate and over N230 at parallel market when the CBN out-rightly 'banned' forex sale to businessmen. What do you have to say about that? Do you consider Buhari's action as Jonathan's fault too? |
