You are absolutely right... Sometimes I always ask my self a question, why did God created me in this lawless country.. The next moment I ask for forgiveness... It's very sad that some people would still support a law maker that is running away from law cos of their hatred for the president because of the region he is from... I doubt if Nigeria would ever be good cos our first problem is mind set.... They are hungry yet celebrating those that inflicted poverty on them....
That's the reason smarter and more experienced elders said 'Nigeria's fundamental problems must be fixed first' before electing a dullard as president in the guise of a phantom anti-corrupt (unproven integrity) posture.

But you guys said the elders are senile, you said it's a 'leadership' problem, you brought in a most bigoted Islamic Sharia preaching certificateless herdsman to 'clean the augean stable'.

Does it look like the dullard is ready to prove you right now, by declaring an unknown plot of land as an asset and thereafter accusing his political opponent of 'anticipatory declaration'?

Pastor Dikwa, you are here flexing muscles on Children's Church in Aso Villa while Christians are being massacred all over the north in a systematic elimination strategy to wipe out Christianity in the Fulani fiefdoms.

Farmers are beheaded daily, they are using knives to slit pregnant women's bellies, children are chopped into pieces, churches burnt in broad daylight without any protection by the 'owners' of the country whom you passionately supported

When are you going to make use of your closeness to these people and appeal to them to stop the massacre?

T0nyeBarcanista:
The mere fact that after so long, we can once again regard bomb explosion news as "Breaking News" shows that PMB has been working hard to eradicate Boko Haram. And as predicted, just as a wounded dog, the Boko Haramites can only resort to attack soft targets as the last straw on a camels back.

Hence...as patriots...we must stand with the president and the gallant Nigerian Army on this one.

But one very interesting dimension which I will like critical thinkers to ponder upon and analyse is the following:

Just this weekend...Saraki got into trouble and PDP seems to be on the rescue. This is a party wherein a school of thought believe is known to always distract Nigerians from corruption news headlines by bomb explosion headlines.

So, this same weekend, they released a statement calling Buhari an OFFICIAL TERRORIST.

This same weekend again...an AUDIO...not a VIDEO....an AUDIO (i.e a medium not easily verifiable and highly unlike the real Shekau) of Shekau calling Buhari a liar ...

This same weekend too, multiple explosions occurred in Maiduguri, killing innocent Nigerians as usual.

Well, the questions begging for answers are:

1. What is the link between SHEKAU and CORRUPTION?
2. When did Shekau start releasing Audios rather than Videos?
3. When did Shekau start mentioning/discrediting political parties?
4. Why did all these happen on this same critical weekend?

Answer:
The answer is very simple...when you fight corruption, corruption fights back harder. But if we all harness our resolution against them...we will crush them soonest and totally.

As GEJ said...Boko Haram is part of the PDP government,.....
as Azazi said....Boko Haram is PDP...and...PDP is Boko Haram

NgeneUkwenu:
You are right to an extent: However, the situation of Evans Enwerem and Saraki are the same in the sense that, no party had/has clear majority. Secondly in the straw poll conducted by The PDP, prior to the election of Saraki, do recall that about 22 PDP senators had Voted Lawan against Saraki before the blanket support.

Third: PDP of June is not the same as PDP of Sept or December, Same as APC! Here it will be a case oof like minds across party divides.

Fourth: PDP will do everything to make Nigerians see that they no longer support or encourage Corruption/Corrupt people as this very case is an acid test for them.

Finally, don't underestimate the power of Social Media which was not that visible in the times of the past Senate Presidents bar Mark!

The chairman wrote a letter stating that he would not be able to attend at the slated date due to reasons best known to him, that alone deserved to be honoured. Even lawyers take adjournment in court when sucj situation arise. You cannot commence trial in absentia of the defendant, in this case Lamorde, and that was among one of those illegalities that occurred in that ongoing proceeding. The chairman is still busy investigating the wife of the Senate President and some persons intend to frustrate his effort by giving him distraction with some unwarranted petition. You should learn more about the independence of the legislature except during an obvious illegality that can be challenged in court. As at today Lamorde cannot obtain injunction to stop the process except the illegility becomes manifest and he is punished as a result of it.

The legislature can summon anyone to appear before it, no matter who that person is.

Larmode does not have any immunity against the Senate summons.

The truth is he feels aggrieved and the best place where he can ventilate is grieviance is the court of law, I have learnt very fast that any gibberish can be updated on social media, you can indict, prosecute, convict and sentence simulteneously on social media but a different ball game in court. You can act as the most innocent on social media but you might made to sweat it out in the court. I have friends in kwara and I have spent some time there too. Most of those allegation predates when he emerged senator and senate president respectively. In other words, kwarans are mostly at the receiving end of all the alleged atrocities. Nigerians I believe are yet to see the real man called Saraki but he has just displayed two cards among which is the circumstance in which he emerged Senate President and the Kangaroo investigation of EFCC chairman over a petition brought by a convicted criminal in USA despite stringent opposition by Senators that due process had not been followed. If Saraki wants the informed minds to take him serious let him take the Code of Conduct Bureau to court for defamation of character. At least that agency does not have immunity the last time I checked. I believe he has gotten to the peak of his political career hence cannot stretch beyond its elastic limit except he is ready to collapse beyond proportion. Nigerians are watching with keen interest. The "we" I refer to are the enlighten Kwarans particularly and Nigerians generally who knows the man called Saraki beyond the praise and worship you might want to do. I have not referred to him as guilty in any way but we would love him to brace up like a gentle man who understands the law of the land to have them pay for the price

But you didn't see anything wrong with the due process in this Code of Conduct Bureau's 'frivolous' charges despite the fact that Nigeria currently doesn't have an ATTORNEY GENERAL of Federation whose responsibility it is to prosecute.

What has the rail project reversal by PMB during his military regime got to do with this write-up?

Important issues was highlighted in this write-up revealing the shady dealings in this contract, chief of which is the cost comparison between the Second Niger Bridge and the Jiazhou Bay Bridge in China, and here am I repeating it to you sycophantic hypocrite.

The Jiazhou Bay Bridge measuring 42km cost $1.5Billion, while the 2nd Niger Bridge of less than 2km cost $700Million in addition to the N10Billion disbursed by FG & the 25years enslavement agreement attached to it.

Now; Explain and stop blabbing.
Second Niger Bridge Project -

Length - The truth is that work has commenced on the Second Niger Bridge and is progressing. The project, which is divided into three phases, will bypass Onitsha and Asaba to connect the Owerri-Onitsha Expressway at Nkwerre-Ezunaka, and then cross Atani to the Asaba-Benin Expressway at Okpanam with a total length of 44 kilometres. With this length, the Second Niger Bridge will surpass the world’s longest bridge in China (42.4km), to become the world’s longest bridge!

Cost - The project is being constructed under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. A  Consortium JB-NSIA, is working on the project on the basis of Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT), at a total cost of N108 billion. The Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) reviewed the concessionaire’s cost of N138 billion down to N108 billion. The project phases will be constructed under Engineering, Procurement and Construction contracts awarded by the Federal Ministry of Works (FMW).

The Federal Government committed to contribute N30 billion (28%) of the project cost. The remaining 72% will be raised by the Consortium under a 25-year concession. The Federal Government has so far committed N18.31billion. Out of this, N10.4 billion has been disbursed leaving a balance of N7.94 billion. A team of local and international consultants was engaged through a rigorous and competitive procurement process. The NSIA has spent the sum of $2.21 million on consultancy and another $247,586 on due diligence to determine project viability. The first-class advisory services are required to enable the project reach financial close – the point at which private capital is successfully raised.
