Sanusi should have tendered his resignation letter since early December.

He's a disgrace already.

Playing with figures by any central bank governor is gross incompetence.

Central bank governors are custodians of monetary policies. Monetary policies rest of accurate figures.

How does anyone believe what Sanusi says between now and March, when he can come back and say it's not true?

He should leave immediately.

musaibnabdul: You people are just writing
without proper research. Our
ogogoro president was born and
bred in a village called OTUOKE in
Bayelsa state of Nigeria. If you
people have done your research
well, you would have understood
the full meaning of OTUOKE and
how the name of the village
affects and influences those
people that were born and raised
there. First of all let us understand
the full meaning of OTU-OKE. In
Yoruba language or slang, OTU
means 'A fool' or 'A foolish/Stupid
person; while OKE means 'TOP'. If
we now call them together it
means OTU of OKE, that is, 'A FOOL
AT THE TOP' OUR OGA AT THE TOP
is actually A FOOL AT THE TOP.
Nigerians should not be surprised
by the way our ogogoro
president is behaving. He is from
OTU village and when you place
someone from OTU at the top, you
should be expecting exhibition of
foolishness 'LIKE VILLAGE LIKE THE
VILLAGER'
You mean Otunuga, Otulana, Otuyelu etc all mean fools right, researcher?

pDude: On second thoughts let me engage you a bit.

I live in US so I would comment on the whites there. The average oyibo man where I live doesn't even give a fvck about you a black man or whether he is with a white chick or anything like that. grin grin grin grin grin grin

The average oyibo man is thinking about how he is going to take that next vacation to Hawaii or how that slim white girl strolling down the road would agree to suck his d!c.k. He is also thinking about the mortgage on his home and if his favorite baseball team will win the MLB championship. grin grin grin

Who told you that white people care about all that trash you stated above? And BTW which slave mentality are you talking about? When the white dude out here is mmoaning about how the banks and credit corporations are fleecing his ass daily and enslaving him?

You speak of Django Unchained huh? What has that got to do with anything? undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

Please reality and tv are 2 different things. All the propagandists that you listen to are just noise-makers who don't even know the reality of things on ground.

Most white people who have asked me where I am from don't even know where Nigeria is grin grin grin grin. One white lady asked if I was from Boston because of my accent. She said it sounded delicious grin grin. Another asked whether Nigeria was in South Africa or Brazil. grin grin

My boss is so fascinated with me that her eyes always lights up with interest whenever she asks me about Nigeria and I begin to speak about home. Those are the racist people who you think hate Africans with so much passion. People who don't even know if Africa is a nation or island or continent grin grin grin grin
Another utterly naive human being.

LBT: . Gej have not been able to crush boko haram that have become more sophisticated and even better armed than the Niger delta militants combined; the militant were getting weapons in exchange for oil rather boko haram are getting better weapons mostly free from islamic countries including fighters; so how is gej going to stay till 2019 if he is not detribalized? People should stop deceiving him & themselves about gej staying till 2019 if he doesn't accommodate every tribe in Nigeria, that's the main problem gej has & I have said it time without number even on this Nairaland forum.
What do you mean by "accommodate every tribe in Nigeria"?
Politics › Re: Change Of Tactics In The North Checkmates Obj And Catches Jonathan In A Trap by porka: 5:23pm On Dec 13, 2013
very interesting and apt write-up. There are still a lot of extremely intelligent Nigerians out there who can look beyond the facade and see what's really happening behind-the-scenes. GEJ boxed himself to a corner by surrounding himself with sycophants and noisy people across the East of the Niger River who think settling the whatever scores they have to settle with the Nigerian establishment can be done at once - despite ostracising the rest of the Southern power-block and the Nigerian people. The Americans also played a blinder in this one - REALPOLITIK. Western countries love the Northerners and they prefer them lording over the rest of Nigeria. I believe Northerners are better serfs to lord over in the scheme of things.

This is a classic example of no-way-out and I expect the North to start dissecting and decimating GEJ soon. The guy is basically finished. Dead and buried. And once the North gets back in power (which is most likely going to happen) - the South is the finished. R.I.P GEJ! Just break the darn country and redeem yourself before it's too late.

PS: eGuerrilla, when I grow up, I definitely want to be like you, Sir. cool
lol...

Foreign Affairs › Re: Ghanaian - Nkrumah Is Greater Than Mandela by porka: 4:30pm On Dec 13, 2013
osifred: Mandela is the most famous African and even so the greatest South African. As at whether he is the greatest African I seriously have my reservations.

The contenders for the greatest African should who championed the cause of africa not for their particular countries alone. In this regard I will rate Kwame Nkrumah higher than Madiba

In his biography mandela was quoted as saying "shaking hands with the emperor was like shaking han with history." The emperor he was referring to was Haille Sellasie, the emperor of Ethiopia, foremost pan-Africamist who championed the foundation of AOU now AU.

How then can you be said to be greater than a man for which you made the remark above. Haille Sellasie was so great he is still being worshipped by rastafarian all over the world.
Don't mind this people, they don't know more than the CNN is spinning to them.

The whites created Mandela to help them "forgive" their extremely abominable (if unpardonable) atrocities against his black people.

They are now changing the narratives about African greatness as if Mandela was the first African who fought white domination.

You can't be used to excuse the horrendous act of apartheid by the neo-colonial whites and not draw 91 heads of state at your funeral.

You can't be used to "forgive" the whites for despicable crimes against your fellow blacks and not be turned to their god at your passing.

Its not a yes or no kind of answer, it's "ARE YOU READY TO CARRY OUT THESE NEW RESOLUTION"?

I don't think he wld really miss them that much, the only reason why i feel the presidency is reaching out to them is because it needs to have the majority number in the national assembly and not necessarily for re-election.
It's the other way round.

They have gone, no one is missing them.

Atiku, a more astute politician left, saw the other side and wasted no time in retracing his steps back, even at that, they made his PDP membership card sort of temporary.

azzutee: Nonsense! How will a security chief abandons his oath of maintaining neutrality btw d govt & d oppositions and ultimately turns to GEJ's intercesor? But I tink some bees here are whirling that these G7 governors dont have weight to dislodge GEJ out of Aso rock after 2015 elections. Now, GEJ is systematically begging but the die is cast, there is no going back. No campaign after election. The scenario will start from the house of representatives, APC will become majority while PDP will relegate to minority, hence, speaker Tambuwal will decamp to APC meaning that PDP is dead. Blame GEJ's political incompetency & Tukur's arrogancy for this. As the film unfolds, we will witness massive influx of some governors and their teeming supporters to the APC.
Tambuwal has been decamping for ever.
