I dated a girl since April 2019 till Feb 9,2021 before l paid the bride price ,Main traditional wedding extended to end of this year without definite date.l met her when she was at age 21 and leaving with her aunt in Abuja while l was in one of the Africa countries.lt's was more of an arranged marriage because my uncle and one of his friend were behind the arrangement.The girl left her aunt place in Abuja to the village in August same year after spending 4years with her, she returned very sick then.l asked her aunt why she returned,her aunt told me she(the aunt) can leave without her by then,that she was very hardworking girl and doesn't follow men bla bla,l then asked my girl why she returned,she told me her aunt no longer allowed her do any other thing apart from house chores,she felt like a slave to them.The aunt never told me of her been sick always.
Her stayed in the village,she always fell sick,l travel in December 2019 met with her and then proceed to see the parents telling them my intention before returning back to my base.Time to time she used to tell me that ,she was sick.one day,l asked her if always fall sick or it's normal sickness she is used to.she answered me,she was a very strong girl and don't fell sick always.
The problem now,l went Feb and paid the bride price she was allowed to came with me to know my place,but it's more of a secret celebration as no many numbers of people were present during the ceremony.
Ever since she came from one sickness to another,she stays at home,just yesterday l have spent more than 30k, her hair was 7,900,later in the night after she returned from market and l also came back from work, it's was stomach pain at the lower abdomen,l took to the hospital at exactly 3 am this morning 23 -24k gone already before 5 am,we are back home and she is fine.
I want to call either my uncle and his friends or my parents ( they force l must marry the girl because they feel she has good home training),or her parents to explain as things are going,l never love to share any problems with them this time but things are getting out hands.
I have spent over 50k for her hospital and etc in just Feb,majorly on drugs.

I engaged my girlfriend last year November with the hope to tie the knot this year. Prior to the engagement everything was perfectly okay and blissful.

The moment we got engaged, the family came up with flimsy excuses.
My girl came up with the idea of us improving our financial power before going into marriage. She said she is willing to wait..
Lateky, we had issues when I noticed she is getting close to a guy she claimed are just friends. The guy give her money. We have spoken about it and she said she is gonna handle it. It led to an argument that resulted to us dragging her phone.
Also while in my house she told me she wanna go see a guy that's is disturbing her. She has told the guy she is with someone but he keeps disturbing. She said she wanna talk things out with him. He has a car, stay in 3 bedroom flat.

Currently she is accusing me of being toxic that she want time to egt things off her head. I have tried to talk to her, but she insisted on being on her own for now.


These last days without her has given me new dimensions to think. Relationship idea is on hold for me now

A lot of times, financial crises are caused because the victims are low income earners…..but there are so many other reasons or causes of financial crisis:

1) Poor financial planning: when you spend your income without making any plans for the future, any problem that may arise, no matter how small, could form a huge crisis for you.

2) Debt: poor debt management can lead to financial crisis. Always pay back the debts with the higher interest rates first.

3) Poor investment decisions: failure to understand the risks involved with various investments before jumping into them can cause you to lose your entire life’s savings and cause a financial crisis.

4) Living beyond your means: if you’re on this table, just quietly come down. We all want to live lives of luxury, but if your income is not high enough to ensure you’re financially stable and still enjoy those luxuries, then you need to stop living beyond your means.

These are just a few reasons or causes of financial crisis. Have you ever had one before? What did you learn from it?

My car developed a problem on the express way gwarimpa to be precise I couldn't move the car do I switched on the hazard light and also placed the triangle few meters away from the car then crossed over to seek for assistance the nest thing I saw was another driver just rammed into the vehicle from behind causing extensive damage to both cars. The frsc officials came and took pics and videos and now assisted to tow both vehicles out of the way to the service lane. Now the guy that hit my car is claiming he doesn't have money at all to fix my car that the car he is driving isn't his but he is doing uber with it he also claimed he called the owner of the car and he isn't willing to assist.
My issue is how do I force this guy to fix my car. To fix that car would cost at least 150k. Also ism trying my best not to involve the police because involving the police might slow the process and involve additional cost

Let me first tell you my kind of character. For you to make me angry, you have to repeat an offense more than 30 to 40 times. After each offence, I would only give you facial expression that will let you know that you offended me. And I would ensure you get the message.

So wife kept repeating same offence. I told her I don't like what she was doing. She said she would adjust, but kept repeating the same thing. When I got fed up, I tried to retaliate. My only retaliation is that I stopped being around in the house. I would leave the house very early in the morning and return late at night. I would go for business in another town and return 4 days later. She knows nothing stops me from coming home everyday from the other town because I have means of transportation. She flared up. Started calling relatives that I'm maltreating her. They asked her to say which ways I have been maltreating her...she said I'm avoiding our home. Relatives asked if I'm beating or starving her. She said no.

I know why it pained her very well. If she wants to go and urinate outside, I would go and drop her there. When she is through, she would call me and I would go and pick her up again.

She's a woman that's always settling fights for couples in the street. So, she never wanted it to be heard anywhere that we are quarelling in our home. She won't want anybody to come to our house to settle disputes. So this prolongs our fights always.

When she couldn't bear it again, she sent a message to me that goes like this: I INITIALLY DIDN'T WANT TO DIVORCE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR DISABILITY AS I PITY YOU. BUT NOW, IT'S OVER. YOU HAVE TO BEAR THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS TOWARDS ME ALL THESE YEARS. WHAT DID I HAVE TO DO WITH A JUJU DIABOLIC MAN IN THE FIRST INSTANCE.

Let me disect those words in capital letters for you. I have a disability, but you can't notice it easily until you start talking to me. She said I have to bear the consequences of my actions towards her... looking back, I have done unimaginable things to make her happy. I even saved her life when she didn't want blood transfusion from unknown persons as a result of her Christian belief not to contract demons from the blood of unknown person. Fortunately, my blood group is that of a universal donor. That means I can donate blood for anybody. Note that she had never done any noteworthy thing for me apart from giving birth to our babies. About being a juju man, I will tell you how she arrived at this: somebody was about to give birth from her family side and the baby was in breech position. She asked for advice and I told her that if I take the woman to the village my uncle will give the woman a concoction to reverse it. Her faith is against it, but because someone from her side just gave birth through CS, which almost led to the death of mother and baby, she asked me to take the woman to the village. The breech position was reversed. I'm surprised she now labelled me a juju man.

Instead of me to take her message personal, I urged her to please herself. This infuriated her the more. Instead of leaving me, she invited someone to intervene, tracked me to the second town, and it was settled there.

My problem now is that those words are still ringing in my head... someone I thought was a lover said she married me out of piety.

I don't feel happy coming over here in the public to share my personal pain, but I have come to a breaking point and I feel like giving up and committing suicide.

I'm in my early 30's, first and the only child of my parents who got separated and married another persons. My dad is late though; I didn't experience his care while he was alive, hence I was more like an outcast. I've slept in church premises with malaria being the order of the day because of mosquitoes. Regardless, I've been struggling to make a living. To worsen the whole matter, the only girl I hold so dear to my heart to offer me emotional support bailed out on me (painful, but that is the least of my worries).

At my age, I still squat with someone and trying to survive. You might ask: don't i have family or friends? My mum and siblings who are my only family look up to me for financial support, and I only have very small circle of friends who even ask me for help. So, i'm like a one-man mopol with no one to turn to for help. To feed is a challenge for me now. I feel like giving up on life because I feel so hopeless.

My greatest desire in life has always been to help the less privileged as a philanthropist, but it's just so unfortunate and painful that I'm still struggling myself.

I'm not here to beg for money, because I'm someone who likes to be independent and doesn't like to be a liability to anyone. I'm a creative person with business ideas and skills, but things I've not been easy for me. I need connections because I have value to offer; I don't want to be a liability to anyone. Please, help me my fellow Nairalanders.
