The car I am seeing up there is not even worth 300k. undecided

Yeah, it is not worth 300k.

People are offering to buy the car the way it is.

The best offer he has gotten is 150k.

But he has refused to sell...

I met this visually impaired guy in 2005.

What attracted me to him was that although he is blind, he was operating a 20 naira per minute payphone booth that was popular in Lagos in those days.

He suffered some loses and people took advantage of him by stealing from him.
As the business faded out he was out business and income for a while.

With the help of some kind-hearted people, he managed to buy this car for commercial purposes...
He had difficulties managing the driver.
The driver later abandoned the car.

Now the car is in bad shape and needs repairs.
He wants to put the car back on the road to enable him to earn income and fend for himself

The mechanic has given an estimate of 300k.

Although he is blind, he tells me he has vowed never to be go begging on the street.
He currently surviving on the goodwill of some faith-based organizations who give him food.

Please anyone will help him raise the money and car gurus in the house can offer to help him fix the car.

What reduced traffic at Rumuokoro is bad Nkpolu junction and bad Tank/Rumuokwurusi portion of East-West road.

This wan sef dey.

Valid point.
Politics / Re: Governor Wike About To Flag Off Rumuokoro Flyover In Rivers State(pictures) by portplus: 11:19am On Oct 23, 2019
Abagworo:

Rumuokoro needs flyover. The only flyover Wike is building that I find strange and unnecessary is Garrison. There is a rail flyover at Oroworukwo less than 300 meters on one side and another flyover at CFC less than 800 meters on the other side and finally it is a T-junction. The solution to the traffic is simply closing the roundabout as done by Amaechi in the past.

I agree with you.

I think it is only an Artillery that is in urgent need of a flyover.

Traffic gridlock has reduced at Rumuokoro since the completions of SARS Road/New Airport Road/Obiri Kwere....networks coupled with the recent enforcement of the anti-street trading rule.

The Garrison Flyover sincerely is a waste of resources.

Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by portplus: 3:27pm On Sep 06, 2019
@Gazzuz:
Please, Sienna 02 runs fine as long as rpm is between 0-2.5(0-80km/hr) the car jerks at any attempt to increase to 100km/hr.

1.Change plugs
2.Changed Fuel Pump
3.Changed 2 coils (out of the six coils)

still no solution.

[NB: Transmission failed after using the car to tow another. The failed Transmission was retrofitted by installing "fibre" about a year ago.

Please help.

Demdem:

Bullshit.........
Amaechi as Governor fixed several federal roads that even include the PH owerri road that were all a mess because he recognized that it was Rivers people using these roads and suffering on these roads. He requested for the monies back and it was never returned to him because of people like wike as minister who undermined his administration at every turn.
When wike became Governor, Buhari released all these monies to Wike.
All these federal road talk to me is crap. Wike should wake up and fixed them all especially sections of the failed east west road and request for balance from FG. He is just to fix the bad portions and not the entire road for Christ's sake. How is that too difficult for him to do? Rubbish.

For obvious reasons, I am pro-Amechi when it comes to governance....He was not perfect but his projects speak for him.

I am only suggesting that Amechi can use his influence as a serving minister to fix failed portions of the East-West to score cheap political points since Wike has chosen to make Port Harcourt groan in pains by being irresponsible.

Amechi should use his influence to fix project River state governorship Wicked Wike refuse to take responsibility for ?! Una never learn, body go tell you.

Amechi can score cheap political points by mobilizing FERMA to fix failed portions of East-West Road..

NB: East-West Road is a Federal Road...in Wikes' voice.

That is to say Mr Project can not even maiantain projects previously constructed by the Amechi you all love to hate ba ?! It will be a delight when PDP finally ruined the SS to a shithole like the SE. No wonder every living soul can’t wait to evacuate that hellhole to states governed by APC in the SW.

Wike makes Amechi a superstar by failing to maintain the aforementioned roads.

I know without being told that he(Wike) is playing politics with failed portions the East-West Road.

Amechi should also use his influence to get FERMA to fix the failed portions of the East-West Road.
