chynie:The story said he lost at the primaries. So he was not running. |
soberdrunk:Most of them don't know the capability. They just drive them for show. |
Neduzze5:If the logo shown is original to you, you might want to quickly trademark it and present it to the company for adoption and decent remuneration. Cool. |
Kudos to Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, FFK, Fayose and other alert and well meaning Nigerians who raised alarm and caused the good-for-nothing government to change cause. |
osaggy:You should not lump all the African countries together though. I know that foreigners desire to have a feel of South Africa, Egypt, Mauritius and maybe Rwanda. But not Nigeria. And I would not describe Nigeria as such a great place unless we want to be insincere and hypocritical. The average Nigerian wants to escape from Nigeria. Even the President does not think Nigeria is such a great place. Let's be sincere with ourselves. |
calberian:Not true about all being private developments. These are standard student housing (as far as USA is concerned. Don't know about Europe, but guess it's same situation). As for the cost, can actually turn out more cost effective than renting off campus because in most cases, your rent is inclusive of utilities and internet. And you may save on transport. |
calberian:Still affordable by US standard. |
senatordave1:God forbid bad thing. |
SirJeffry:Andy Uba a good man? Wow, I didn't know that. But I know that he and his brother Chris Uba tried to destroy Anambra State during the tenure of Gov Chris Ngige. Moreover, I don't think we need a governor in Anambra that is not bright enough to graduate from a university. He bought his "degree" from a nonexistent internet university. Other than his immediate family, any Anambra voter that votes him should have his/her head examined. |
He has suddenly become humble enough to mix with the masses because he is seeking their votes. Any Anambra voter that castes his/her vote for Andy Uba should be regarded as enemy of progress in Anambra State. This is the same Andy Uba that, with his brother Chris Uba, wanted to destroy Anambra during the tenure of Gov. Chris Ngige. And he has been very useless in the senate. A guy that could not graduate from even a lowly rated university wants to be Governor of Anambra State. We should be moving forward not backward. |
LifeIsGuhd:I don't see any thing rude in asking Lai Mohammed (or his likes) to tell us where his children are studying. We already know where the President gets medical treatment and it is not Nigeria. The hypocrisy is very clear and it stinks to high heavens. |
Obviously a misleading headline by some good-for-nothing writer. I did not read where the governor was quoted as opposing restructuring. All I read up there is him saying that restructuring means different things to different regions. In any case, he is a goof ball. Nigeria must restructure in other for it to continue to exist as one entity. My apologies to those unpatriotic elements who are scared to the bones of restructuring. Enough of the cheating and exploitation. |
careytommy7:Maybe he has repented. |
malware:Tell us more about him. |
Ngokafor:I would not really blame those that were deceived into voting for Buhari, especially if they admit their mistake and try to vote a better candidate in 2019, just like Senator Kanti Bello. Very little was known about Buhari's incompetence and tribalistic tendency before the election. Only few people (like Chief Ayo Adebanjo of Afenifere) really understood the real Buhari. A lot of people did not listen to him. He was even getting insults from a lot of his fellow Yoruba (especially the youth) who were being led astray by Tinubu. I got to know more about the real Buhari after reading Adebanjo's interview in the Vanguard newspaper. The man's predictions about Buhari was right on the money. |
SoNature:Actually I would say if most Nigerians (not just politicians) are like him. The insincere and tribalistic nature of the average Nigerian is a huge impediment to progress. It makes it almost impossible to get a good leader for Nigeria. Why anyone would still be defending Buhari's disastrous leadership is beyond comprehension. I'm glad this is coming from not just a northerner, but someone from Katsina State and a member of the APC. |
kenny987:I won't use derogatory term for Kanti Bello. He made a mistake and admitted it. That is honorable and humble of him. He has earned my respect. He seems to be a sincere, patriotic and detribalized Nigerian. Very few Nigerians are like him. He is the type of Nigerians I would love to work with. |
Thank you for being brutally honest and objective. Shame on all those fools that are still defending Buhari's incompetence. It'll never be well for you all. |
StarPlayer:It's not about being wicked. It's about not being gullible and naive. I don't believe the guy is truly remorseful. |
malificent:So you believe he is truly remorseful? I hope his ex-wife doesn't fall for his trick. |
austinosita:Exactly. He is seeing red in good ole USA. |
muller101:I hope not. That would be big mistake. It's obvious that the reason he is seeking forgiveness is because of the harsh condition he is facing in the good ole USA. Not because he feels remorse. |
I hope the ex-wife and mother-in-law don't get deceived by this punk. He thought USA is a bed of roses. The real USA has received him with open arms. With the revocation of his visa, he is in deep poo. Even if he had his visa, he can only get minimum wage menial jobs like flipping burgers or convenience store clerk. He can barely feed himself with such jobs. And with his foreign accent, even those jobs are not easy to come by. He must have been fantasizing about the good life in the USA (like most misinformed Nigerians). This is definitely not a sincere apology. If things were ok for him in US, I doubt that he would have thought about apologizing. Carry your well deserved cross, my man. A lot of Nigerian men think with their dic*k. |
raker300:I beg to disagree sir. The Yoruba elders, represented by Afenifere have been in the forefront of demanding equity in the system. They have been calling for restructuring of the system. They have been very upright and objective. In fact it was after reading Chief Ayo Adebanjo's interview about Buhari, just before the election, that I understood how much of a misfit that Buhari will be as President. I immediately changed my mind and voted against the evil Buhari. Those Afenifere elders have got my respect. |
kn23h:And what do you preach? Unity and Igbo love? |
Well, I don't believe this story. I believe the lawmakers are smart enough to know not to expect Osinbajo to come back and tell them the true state of health of Buhari. They would instead send a delegation that would include at least a member of the opposition. Why would they take Osinbajo's word for it. They might as well send Buhari's wife. Story. |
whitebeard:What he is saying in effect is that what goes around comes around. When the Northern miscreants issued their so called quit notice to Igbo in the North, some fools/tribalists were happy. Now the same Northern miscreants are coming for the Yoruba. I don't know if you are one of those fools/tribalists that were supporting the miscreants. But a good number of Yoruba voiced their support for the miscreants then, on Nairaland. If you are Igbo, what should be your reaction now that the threat is against the Yoruba? Lesson here is that we should never support evil. |
Funjosh:Well, we have the misguided tribalistic military men with their centralized unitary system of governance to blame for the mess we have found ourselves in. But it's about time we solved the problem. We need to decentralize governance, period. That is to say, we need to restructure asap. |
Yep. Buhari is a complete mistake. I hope Nigerians don't repeat same mistake in 2019. |
Good. The US is the wrong place for criminals to go hide their stolen wealth. |
jowhyte:It's for aesthetics I believe. The gates will make the environment look ugly. |
It's fine with me. The gates (and fences) usually make for ugly environment. They hide the beautiful architecture from view. And they don't really keep us any safer. I wish we can do away with all those ugly fences and gates in residential areas too. |
