I still think he should be a gentleman and resign as speaker since he changed party.

Hold on there! What the Americans did in Afghanistan was not against American citizens. The US military does not mistreat American citizens. I would be surprised if you get any Amen to your prayer. We are hypocrites and tribalists. President Jonathan is obviously not performing well. But I don't see a better alternative from the APC. And the PDP are shutting out others from the primary. So for those of us that will vote, we may have no choice than to vote Jonathan 2015. If you have a better candidate, let us know.

I regard such men as fools. As to the topic, we don't have the details. However, if it is just to show submissiveness, then I think the lady should get out of the marriage. Marriage is not slavery. The golden rule should apply here; would the man hand over his own salary? Instead I suggest they open a joint account into which a percentage of their salaries would be paid. I definitely would not hand over my salary to anyone or ask my wife to do such.

If entirely true, this is scary. A woman who is bold enough to cheat and dare her husband has really gone too far. In my opinion, she doesn't value herself nor consider the impact on her kids. Word will surely go round and the kids will be taunted by friends/neighbours. No secrets in this land.

Women who forgive men's folly and keep their homes are not stupid. If she wants the best for her kids, she will put them into consideration before taking rash and silly decisions.

You seem to really love your wife and home. Try and get to the root of this. Find out if she's just saying this to hurt your feelings or she has 'fallen in love' hence her boldness. Give her the option of divorce so she can have more time for her new lover. Its up to her to decide what is best for her even if her decision hurts your feelings. You have to be strong in all this cos you could be risking your life by being sentimental. I pray this ends well for you and your family.

You are very correct. In the US and any other normal country, it is the police that enforces the law and carries out arrests of even soldiers. Soldiers are almost like civilians. This fact would understandably be difficult for the average Nigerian who has not travelled outside Nigeria to believe. Most American civilians (whether they are security guards or police or doctor or teacher or engineer etc)you meet have served in the military anyway.
So who are you to intimidate or humiliate such a person.
I really think the nysc should be converted to compulsory military service and extended to 2 yrs.

First I want to commend this effort by OANDO and Lagos State Govt. We need more projects of this nature.
However, your comparison of the cost of this project with the 10MW project in Germany is not appropriate because the German plant is solar power.
We should compare the cost of the Lagos State project with the cost of 10MW Gas Fired plant elsewhere. We should also note that location would affect the cost.
With the high level of corruption in Nigeria, i would not be surprised if the cost is inflated to enrich some individuals.

not exactly correct about divorce in usa. If you are divorcing your spouse because of his or her cheating (adultery), the cheater does not get the 50% of spouse's asset or wealth. That is why they hire private investigators to follow the suspected cheater and get evidence of cheating which they can use in court.

I will suggest you deworm the dog with the appropriate dose of a deworming tablet( usually a combination of praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate, and febendazole). You will get this from a vet.

I will also suggest you give appropriate dose of a broad spectrum antibiotic (a good one that i use for my dog is amoxicillin, either the capsule or suspension). Dosing is according to the weight of the dog once or twice daily. I use once daily for my dog since he eats once a day. works perfectly well for him.

I hope your dog makes it. As someone said earlier,in Nigeria, not all the people running a vet are trained veterinarians. Make sure you are dealing with a qualified vet.

Also try to deworm your dog regularly. I will suggest about every 4 months.
