My Uncle wants to bring their children back to study in Nigeria so that they will feel Nigeria and Nigeria will pass through them since they were born abroad.

I would like to know the best University that i will recommend to him.

Please give me the reason why its the best. Advantage and Disadvantage

If they would study in the east, I strongly recommend University of Nigeria Nsukka (or Enugu campus depending on the course) or Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.

Tell your uncle not to try it. I know people who tried this nonsense and regretted it. My advice will be, let the children do secondary school here not university education

Yes but even though reputation is consequential, reputation is not everything you know? UNN has constantly declined in academic standard and excellence indicators over the years.

Yea, even though UNN is one of the most reputable varsities in Nigeria, right now, it can be at best rated as the best university in the south eastern region of the country.

Highest Dey can offer is mechatronics.

Third class law students frm dat skol makes 1st class at Law skol... (a mystery i dnt undstnd)

students with CGPA has low has 2.0 passes scholarship exams and even beat 2.1 students of oda skols who wrote d same exams

It's foolhardy to leave the very best, and then be struggling to choose from the worst set of universities. The universality in Nigerian universities has long disappeared, and it's downright stupid to train a child who could have gone to Harvard in Ibadan. people are saying cu up and down, but take it from me, just do a quick google search on cu and see what happens here. if your cousins cant survive with the rules, they shouldnt try it.

There are thousands of people in CU and whenever a few people of no substantial percentage get into problem for running fowl of the rules, it makes every single headline you can think of because it's CU. Cool down bro, I graduated from there and most of the things you here outside a too over-exaggerated.

Very bad move by your uncle. He should think of the future of the children. Not just his desire to Nigerianise them. Since 9ja culture is so great, he should have had them in Nigeria. shocked shocked

He should have brought them around age 10/11 to attend a private boarding secondary school in Nigeria. You take in culture & information at a younger age.

After 6 years of secondary school, they would have understood Nigeria/been Nigerian before returning abroad for university.

Unless they are coming to study medicine/dentistry in Nigeria (a long professional course), I see no point in it.

It won't matter much which university. Any Federal university will do. The course they will study matters more, if planning to return abroad later.

And nobody feels AUN, Yola is a good fit? It's actually a really good university by every standard especially since we are talking Nigeria. Could even be the best, most likely the best, really!
