Morning everyone,
My B1/B2 expired in March this year and haven't really been thinking about renewing it until now.

I recently applied for UK Study visa and I met someone at the visa center who recommended that I renew my US Visa as well. I will be departing for UK this coming January.

Now the situation is that I don't have any reason to travel to the US for anything at this point in time, so Im writing here to ask if it's a good idea to renew it even though I might not end up traveling to the US?

PS: I used the expired US visa once in 2015. Stayed there for just a week.

You can renew it now if you want, but if you don't have any reason to travel soon particularly while you are in the UK, no need to renew it, but note that by the time you decides to renew it, you will not be qualified for Dropbox from the UK except you are applying from nig

All the best in your study.

Goodmorning.
Please has anyone here ever carried cake to the US?

Someone ‘needs’ undecided Red velvet cake and wants it from a particular place in Lagos.

If you or someone you know has transported this successfully, kindly advise. Thank you so much.

Na wa o, grin eeehnn, make the person sponsor the cake maker to come America to bake the cake for am na shio!

I doubt if the cake will survive it's originally state by the time it's landing USA,. Who carries such a delicate item for that long hours?

You were not a victim of an agent
You actively participated in the misrepresentation. You went for the interview with the details filled. I am almost certain you didn't tick the column for if some one other than you filled the form.
So rephrase that your grammar to take responsibility for your actions Sir.
#myview

Sure, supported. Just rephrase, take responsibility proper, come across as remorseful in words particularly during your interview, if for nothing else use your interview to obtain some cleanness on your slate as touching your relationship with the consulate. Best wishes!

No be for everybody oh! It works different ways for different people. I like travelling lots, my wife doesn't much, the major thing we have in common is that we like and prefer SHORT STAY TRIPS. I can take four ("quality and not quality"wink countries on a trip (even repetition sef, plus different time zones wahala), it won't even wear me out, but my wife wouldn't (she prefers one or two quality travels at a time. I even like spending a day or two in my flight transit countries/cities including within the US, Canada deliberately), I just enjoy "wakadugbe" movements.

So, I most times end up doing my own trips while she does hers alone or with the kid. Been some time we both were on a trip together despite that we (particularly I) make at least one, two, sometimes three trips annually as individuals, no ish at all going it alone, less monetary calculations and involvement! I still have unused tickets to two destinations and will have to embark on them alone soon before story that touch enters because she wouldn't do repeat destination - UAE join oh, we've been there twice together, while I have been there like five times on a general count (e no dey tire me). So, different folks, different strokes!

Our hobbies are similarity in common

But what an expensive indulgence!, God help us Amen

Nope. The VO gave her an opportunity to show him/her how a business admin graduate can work as an accountant. I would be concerned how a business admin graduate, can work as an accountant, if I were a VO.

....and he explained that he has a professional certificate in accounting!

Why didn't a VO wonder why someone who read Food and nutrition is working in the bank? Na food she wan dey serve for back?

I think the VO just acted on impulse.

If I were the applicant, I will reapply if I have the funds.

Good day every1...please, I'm a permanent resident in U.S, got married in May, my wife and I are expecting a baby in march, she is stil living in Nigeria. I would have filed for her but with green card it takes about 2 years before that goes through for her to come, I recently applied for my citizenship, awaiting my interview date, but right now she will be due before I even get my citizenship and apply for her.

So my question is....
What are our chances if I invite her to U.S for delivery so that I can take care of her and the baby during and after delivery.
cc seyewest, abujaniv

She can try and state that the baby's father want to witness the birth of the baby and to be there for both mom and child however the time is too short for you to file for wifey and work maynt permit him. Just my thoughts o.

No harm in trying, if she no get am, omo ilu shi ni baby wether here or there once you get your citizenship, you can even get her USA Pali from nija.

Then you can file for Mami afterwards.

All the best

When was he denied U.S Visa and in his ds160 form did he filled married? if yes or no please let us know.

The first time he was denied on the 27th of Sept 2017, but the church scheduled an appointment for him (in space of two weeks) again in the notion that the Archdeacon that they are sending both of them to the conference got his visa. So he went for a second interview on 18th of October 2017.

In his ds160 form, he said that he put married because he was married (paid bride price) to a girl which things didn't work out with both reasons being that she couldn't cope with the church traditions, rules, and regulations. The girls family returned the bridal price to him at the end of September 2017 after 7 months of separation because the family wanted the girl's happiness. Within this period I have traveled to Nigeria, he proposed, we got engaged and married traditionally and now waiting for our white wedding and court wedding next year after my graduation. Which we both plan to return to Nigeria together for the rest of the celebration with both our parents, family members, and friends. He has to do a white wedding in Nigeria before he can be ordained a priest because that is the only wedding the church recognizes. Also if he leaves Nigeria without finishing his theological school, he will lose his chances of being ordained after putting in his 6 years in. He is passionate about his ministry work.

My greatest fear is that I don't want when he goes back to the embassy with the invitation letter from my school here in the States, for the interviewer to think or look at it like he is desperate to come to the United States when that is not the case. I don't know what to do, I am highly in limbo about this situation. He has never done a white wedding or court wedding before. He can't get a divorce paper being that there was never a court wedding involved before or white wedding. Does he have to get a letter stating that he is no longer married to the first girl or what can he do?

1. Sorry that's a weak explanation, and from my opinion that's where he erred. You were asked how having studied A in school, you are now doing B, how did you learn how to do B...and you just reply you have a professional certificate in B, does that answer the question

2. Sorry, I am not an accountant but to be an accountant:
- don't you need to have taken your ICAN and/or ACCA exams, which makes you a chartered accountant.
- studied accounting in undergraduate school
- and what is a PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE IN ACCOUNTING?!

3. He or she can reapply but explain how she learnt how to do B, having studied A in school. The answers you give to their questions also matter. But wait are you a VO Supervisor, to know that he or she acted on impulse

No, you weren't the victim of a visa agent. You are responsible for all information presented on your DS160 and at your interview. You hired a visa agent hoping that it would increase your chances of getting a visa. Your agent filled out your forms with inaccurate information in an attempt to increase your chances of getting a visa. You went to an interview based on the false application.
