douchesnozzle: See this dumbo calling FUGAZ without knowing what it really means. Let me school u cos I know ur kind who tend to disguise Thier cluelessness by mentioning something they don't understand. FUGAZ is just an acronym for banks to big to fail. Too big too fail in the sense that they account for 60% of deposit as well as profit in the industry. If any of them were to fail CBN must step in cos of Thier spiral effect on the economy. Thats where it ends. The strength of a financial institution is in its capital adequacy ratio. It shows how much capital a bank has in respect to it's risk. This is the stress test use to determine how solvent a bank is. Why do u think cbn is pushing for recapitalization? Why is cbn not telling banks to grow deposit or increase customer base. Those are not metrics for judging strength of a bank. Capital base is which shows investor believe in a bank is what determines the strength of a bank. Google the top banks that attracted foreign investment YTD and tell me how many FUGAZ bank is on the list. I know your type. You took time to exhibit all the banking terms you picked on the floor without defining what capitalisation is. What a shame. You took time to try and explain what FUGAZ is but could you explain why your dear STANBIC that is amongst the top three banks in Nigeria isn't amongst them despite the qualities of FUGAZ. I did not know FUGAZ. Wonderful! You want to school me? That is typical on Nairaland. The strength of a financial institution is in its capital adequacy. Clap for your self. What them is the relationship between the capital adequacy and capitalisation? Abeg, look for people in the beer parlour you can bamboozle with terminologies. I am waiting to be schooled anyway. |

kingthreat: Sorry but what has she done to deserve the reputation of a SAN. We know what likes of Ozekhome and Gani did to elevated to the SAN level but now being married to a top lawyer gives one the access to become a SAN Femi Falana keeps deceiving the world that he is a human rights activist. He is one of the problems of the Nigerian system. The way you people come to exhibit your gross ignorance on Nairaland is pathetic. Kindly tell us what Ozekhome did that made him.get the SAN. You will do well to tell us what Emeka Ngige did publicly to get the SAN. One wonders whether some of you do not even think the moment you get set to comment. So, to you, SAN is awarded just for the sake of it. Wonderful. |

douchesnozzle: So access bank with all the acquisition is still below 700bn yet they will be bragging that they are the biggest bank in Nigeria. Capitalization and not assets or customer base is the best metrics to judge how strong a bank is. Investors who have good knowledge of the industry know which bank stocks to buy which is directly reflected in Thier stock market capitalization. Zenith GTB and Stanbic IBTC are the strongest banks in Nigeria. This recapitalization is very good and will help reposition our financial institutions. It is too early to exhibit much ignorance with audacious gusto. Who told you market capitalisation and not asset.is.the best metric to judge the strength of banks in Nigeria? Who told you STANBIC is part of the three strongest banks in Nigeria? Please go and find out what capitalisation is before you comment further. Please go and.find out what FUGAZ is before you comment further. I was expecting people with limited knowledge like you to jump in quickly as usual. |

pacino26: So the Medical Council is out to brag I guess. Who doesn't know that exams in Nigeria are structured to fail people! Lecturers brag about how people can't pass their courses. School of pharmacy and medicine in most universities here in Nigeria are happy when students commit suicide and go on to tell new entrants that it is not for the faint of heart. Out there in Europe and other developed countries you have interactions with your lecturers on academic growth and good mental health. Let's not forget the other reason they will want people to fail; so some can pay through their noses to get the license. So, releasing a report on the exam conducted by the medical council amounts to bragging? These reports are released each time the exam is conducted and I can confirm to you that I read a report like this early this year. Maybe the medical council brags twice a year. |

Iseoluwani: m surprised too. Sudan ke, how do u expect someone to go to sudan to practice medicine and pass nah.
This news is false biko A body that conducted an exam released a report on the exam conducted and same is reported by a reputable newspaper and yet you still say the news is fake. Indeed, some people on Nairaland need deliverance. |

Nebes: Medical professors in the UK and US will fail Nigerian MDCN exams. They structure the exam for the people to fail. If you know how they twist their questions in Nigeria you'll pity Nigerian medical students. That's why Nigerian doctors do extremely well abroad where things are straightforward. Are you saying the twisting excluded the over 400 that passed? |

You can tell that to the patrons of Okija. Tell it too to rhe owners of the 70 half eaten bodies discovered in Aba. Tell it to the owners of the mutilated bodies being talked about by Bianca Ojukwu. akaahs: They are traumatized as result of points deduction na. Let us leave trauma out of this sir. I doubt Everton has ever played a match in which they are more fired up than this. Probably, a derby against Liverpool. The entire football world both in England and the entire world was behind them for the point deduction prior this game. Traumatised and had over twenty goals off target and about 8 or 9 on target? Even the most critical of their fans will not give or buy that argument. Truth is Man U won because Everton is not a team that packs the bus from.the beginning of a match. To beat Man U, pack the bus and catch their weak defense on the counter because they are vulnerable at the back, score a.goal and.you are good to go. |

The same foreign companies people like you rejoice and jubilate about each time they leave the country. Is that not an irony? The people that they left with brown roofs are far better than the people that have found the brown roof region as their own London and America and will risk their lives to come as an attachment standing in packed buses for 10 hours journeys. |

They have given up. Can't pass. Can't dribble. Can't position. Can't hold the ball. Nothing. Dead club. Noted. Management will work on the lapses you have highlighted but try no get hypertension for Man U matter oo. |
