abbey621: It's not about age but maturity, most 9ja guys at 25 are still very immature, most are still emotionally and psychologically primitive. In fact 70% of 9ja guys within the age bracket of 22-26 are still getting fed by their parents or jobless. Never compare the 50s, 60s and 70s to the rubbish we have nowadays, these kids nowadays are made in China, their quality is suspect! That was why I started my narratives with the early years. The question now is,what made the people of those era matured enough for the marital responsibility. The children of these days just dey open eyes for things that will not only waste their today but will also injure their tomorrow. simple. |

It may surprise you to know that even with the economy, children from the upper middle class families that are thru with their university education at 20 and are fixed up by 22 are already getting married at 25 these days. neurosci: Lol, you don’t know what you’re saying. When you talk about medicine, no school in West Africa is anywhere near UI. UI medical school is one of the best on the continent and among top 400 in the world. Don’t even start that conversation. Why are you responding to someone only interested in ethnic/ tribal fisticuffs? Why bother responding to someone who in all likelihood may never have visited the gates of the schools in question not to talk of knowing what goes on there? Learn to carefully select the comments you will be responding to especially when the study of medicine is being discussed on Nairaland. Finally, never under- estimate the level of ignorance on this forum. |

viyon02: Very good, this is the result of runs, especially private schools, check the weac result of these students adminted with this result. You will think they will set some records in the faculty: l even have one student with 5 A1 buy couldn't cope with NCE and she was advice to withdraw in the first semester. What a shame to private schools they really distroy standard of education, and many parents fell for thier scams thinking they are the best, Hello parents, they are in business, they are not after success of your child/children but rather destroy it, dont fall for their good waec result they preach to you, if you really want the best for your child let your child attend public school and then get good private home teachers for each of the five key subjects for the require department. Anyway this is not for everyone just for few parents that are shrew enough to understand. You have made valid, good points but it amazes me how people generalise about private schools helping their students pass Wasc. There are private schools that drill their students like no man's business. And for your information, public schools are not better of in terms of cheating. In every situation, garbage in, garbage out. |

LILTJAY1: Why all this bragging from igbos? we have seen nigerians been best graduating students in different universities abroad ,so what is special about this They will brag because it is a big achievement to them. Unfortunately however, ask for the educational profile of those bragging and you will discover they are either people who have not left their enclave for once or those will nothing to point to in terms of personal educational achievement. I have always hoped that the conspiracy among football clubs, betting companies and entertainment companies like DSTV and Co will be unraveled someday. I just have this feeling that there's something they're not telling us. Now that Chelsea has managed to scale through, just watch how one big team will still end up losing in those 9pm matches.
Modified, just when I thought Chelsea had scaled through. FT Zenith 3-3 Chelsea. It's truly never over until it's over. In this case, bayern may eventually beat Barca as expected cos dem go don cash out from Chelsea result. Irrespective of the chelsea result, Barca going out at this stage is un- thinkable for me. Permutations about next round will be set aside for the Barca qualification task. |
