I know BT I still to tink wit dt strong performance yesterday, bailey would continue to start even if maguire returns n dts my point..
I dnt even see the need or influence of dt lazy maguire in dt team, or is it bcox he is British??
dt new incoming coach wont take such bcoz he demands more from his man n he can bench anybody he choses even if its cr7..
dis is d reason I said a coach like pep n conte cnt coach dis united bcox its seems coaches in dt united have less control or power maybe bcoz of fergie or d board making decisions
You have cleared youth doubt by yourself. He will continue to play because he is British. He will continue to play because of the price tag. He will continue to play because of the British press.
The only prayer is that the in- coming coach is not intimidated by the British press. He expressed his doubt about shaw in an interview he granted in 2019 even when he had not dreamt about getting the Man U job. Let us just be wait and see.

DTS his opinion..big thumbs up to carrick for starting both sancho n dt bailey in dt game bcox i never expected such
Sancho got d only goal n baily had a wonderful game n I pray e keeps his shirt
united fans should get used to such surprises bcoz dt new rangnick is a master tactician n his tactical brilliance dnt support predictability...
I keep telling people dt a pep dt I know is incharge of dis squad, he wont keep starting cr7 in big games after he went silent against Leicester, Liverpool, city n even Watford...
Carrick deserves no kudos for playing Baily. Situation forced him to play him due to Maguire' s red card. Ole never had the guts to bench him and the Carrick your are praising now isn't part of the Ole set- up.
Baily WOULD NEVER have played the match if maguire is available.

After coming back from.school on a particular day, this conversation ensued between my son and I

Son: Daddy, how old are you? ( Immediately I know there is trouble)
Me: Why did you ask?
Son: Tobi told me his daddy is 40. years old
Me: So what now happened?
Son: Then, David said is daddy is 50 years old.
Me: What did you now say?
Son: I told them you are 99 years old.

Conversation ended. Apparently, he never wanted any age to be higher than his father's.

OP, you are funny.

Your post may be right but you didn't include the most important of them all which is "Have Money."

I'm a living example.

Few years ago when I was a teacher, nobody GAF, i.e greeting me no be by force, but now that I am a businessman and things are making sense, even people wey senior me well well dey genuflect when greeting me.

Someone around me spent app. 6million naira as donation, launching etc during an harvest, bishop and priest go greet am for him place, that was after appreciating him openly as a special announcement in church.

In summary, in a country like Nigeria, as long as you have money, people will respect you.
Very funny.
My guy, pardon the priest and the bishop. If not for the distance POPE himself will go and greet the man.
Bottom line is, in this society you must double your hustle.

Honestly, you see money has a way of corrupting a humble mind, although they may not be totally rude or harsh but it(pride/rudeness/harshness due to their riches) will show once in a while.
That's why I said anyone who has money or power and is humble is totally abnormal because that is contrary to the thinkable.

Okay ... Noted good points though but why do people feel if you don't have money you can't and sometimes won't command respect undecided. Is there any synergy btw respect and money that I don't know. And then what of power and authority. As a young lady I wanna know why power intoxicates and what makes people feel they deserve to be respected simply because they occupy one position somewhere.
Not paying too much attention to or not respecting people who do not have money is a problem in every society but only more pronounced in the african setting because we worship money and the holder of it. In other climes too they respect you if you are loaded too. Go and read the story of the founder of the renowned Stanford University and what made him establish the university.

On the issue of power and authority, that one is more psychological. It's part of the human nature.

That is why I am of the opinion that whoever has either money or power or perhaps both and is humble, that fellow is ABNORMAL.

When you see thread that talks about the woman pounding children in Onitsha or the man that killed his child for money ritual in Enugu, they always remain silent. Perhaps hiding their shameful faces after opening the thread. Okija has not changed from what it is known for. Neither has Isiala- Ngwa.
