Phones › Re: Motorola Unveils The Motorola P30, A Copycat Of The Iphone X (Specs And Photos) by ppotter(m): 11:25am On Aug 17, 2018 |
iPhones are too cost. I hope these Chinese will teach them lesson sha. . TechCapon: TechCapon
https://techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/p3-.jpeg
It’s really not fair to iPhone that these android makers especially the Chinese have taken it upon themselves to make smartphone that look exactly like the iPhoneX. The Lenovo, Xiaomi, Vivo, Huawei, Oppo, Motorola etc all have smartphones hat look exactly like the iPhone X both the camera design, the notch display design and so on. I know you might be wondering,”is Motorola no longer an American company?”. Well, for those who don’t know, Lenovo (Chinese company) bought Motorola from Google so Motorola is a Chinese company in terms of ownership but based in America.
https://techcapon.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/KH-COMPOSITE-IPHONE-COPY-V2.jpg
The Motorola P30 is exactly an iPhone X clone in terms of appearance.
This flagship from Motorola features a 6.2-inch notch display having 2246 X 1080 resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 chipset. Talking of the camera, the phone has 16MP+5MP rear dual camera setup and a 12MP front shooter for taking perfect selfies. It comes with an average 3000mAh battery capacity which is not so good in 2018 when other smartphone are coming loaded with 4000mAh but thankfully, it has a 3.5mm audio jack.
Available with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage, the latest Motorola smartphone comes with Android 8.1 Oreo, and the OEM manufacturer’s own user interface has been replaced by ZUI 4.0.
Interestingly, Motorola has not said a word on the global launch of the phone although it has been launched in China. The flagship would be available in China from September 15. The price range has been set between $303 (N110,000 Approx) for the 64GB variant to $360 (N130,000 Approx) for the 128GB variant.
Motorola enthusiasts have been disappointed with the design as the flagship model is a mixture of iPhone X and Huawei P20 series. It seems like the lack of originality has brought the smartphone industry to a standstill where every other flagship bears the design of iPhone X. Very shameful.

.Will his vist remove APC ? If yes,let him visit Nigeria, otherwise he isnt welcomed at all. [Qquote author=BoneBlogger post=69345935]Former US president, Barack Obama is set to visit Africa again for some events. The visit is the first time the former leader will be traveling to Africa since he left office last year. Barack Obama will launch a civic leadership programme by the Obama Foundation after selecting 200 rising leaders from forty-four African countries. The programme will be launched by former US President Barrack Obama on July 14 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Obama took to his social media page to hail late Nigerian novelist Chinua Achebe among others ahead of his visit. Read what he shared below; This week, I’m traveling to Africa for the first time since I left office – a continent of wonderful diversity, thriving culture, and remarkable stories.
I was proud to visit sub-Saharan Africa more times than any other sitting President, and I’ll return this week to visit Kenya and South Africa. In South Africa, the Obama Foundation will convene 200 extraordinary young leaders from across the continent and I’ll deliver a speech to mark the 100th anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s birth. Kenya, of course, is the Obama ancestral home. I visited for the first time when I was in my twenties and I was profoundly influenced by my experiences – a journey I wrote about in my first book, Dreams from My Father.
Over the years since, I've often drawn inspiration from Africa's extraordinary literary tradition. As I prepare for this trip, I wanted to share a list of books that I’d recommend for summer reading, including some from a number of Africa’s best writers and thinkers – each of whom illuminate our world in powerful and unique ways.
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe
A true classic of world literature, this novel paints a picture of traditional society wrestling with the arrival of foreign influence, from Christian missionaries to British colonialism. A masterpiece that has inspired generations of writers in Nigeria, across Africa, and around the world.
A Grain of Wheat by Ngugi wa Thiong’o
A chronicle of the events leading up to Kenya’s independence, and a compelling story of how the transformative events of history weigh on individual lives and relationships.
Long Walk to Freedom by Nelson Mandela
Mandela’s life was one of the epic stories of the 20th century. This definitive memoir traces the arc of his life from a small village, to his years as a revolutionary, to his long imprisonment, and ultimately his ascension to unifying President, leader, and global icon. Essential reading for anyone who wants to understand history – and then go out and change it.
Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
From one of the world’s great contemporary writers comes the story of two Nigerians making their way in the U.S. and the UK, raising universal questions of race and belonging, the overseas experience for the African diaspora, and the search for identity and a home.Source; https://www.nationalhelm.co/2018/07/barack-obama-hails-chinua-achebe-ahead-of-his-visit-to-africa.html
|

I really have to thank those who stayed back to help even after getting their visas and despite their busy study and work programs in Germany.
I also have to thank those who shared their experiences right from visa journey to life in Germany as foreign students.
For newbies your German school search starts here https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/en/
The following steps will help newbies (Thanks to CassieV for the tips)
Most of the schools in Germany are tuition free even for international students, you only get to pay a certain amount as semester fees say between 100-400 euros and most times the semester fee comes with a semester ticket to aid in transportation in your city or town. However, before you're granted a student visa, you have to prove that you can take care of your living expenses with one of the following means ; 1. Block account: The estimated living expenses for a student in a month is 720euros, when you multiply that by 12 months, you get 8640euros. This is the amount you're required to block in an already opened account with either Deutsch bank, Fintiba or Xpatrio. It is called a block account because you will not be able to withdraw everything at once, only 720euros will be released to you every month. 2. Sponsorship letter: If you have a relative living and working legally in Germany, they can get you this letter. They'll have to visit the alien office in their city and will be required to provide some documents and pay a certain fee. The letter will be sent to you when they receive it so that you can go with it for your visa interview. 3. Scholarship: This is usually the best if you have the scholarship, your visa will be granted in under 2 weeks after interview. So try and look for scholarships you can apply to.
Now that you understand the financial situation, let's go into the application process. To search for schools, click on this link https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/international-programmes/en/?p=l&q=&fos=0&lang[]=2&fee[]=0&sortBy=1&page=1&display=list filter your search to make it easier, there are English taught courses there. Generally, the very important documents needed to apply to schools in Germany are; 1. Transcript 2. English Proficiency 3. School Certificates (Degree, Waec, etc) However, depending on the school, some other documents needed are as follows. 4. Curriculum Vitae 5. Motivation letter 6. Reference letters 7. GRE test 8. Etcetera.. Visit your prospective school website and find out the documents they need from you. Note: You don't apply with your original documents, you have to make photocopies of them and Certify them in High court or a Notary public. If you stay in Lagos, you can certify at the German Embassy too. You'll have to book appointment for that. For those planning to go for a Bachelors course, you need a 100level transcript from a university to apply for a BSc program in germany. WAEC alone will not be enough and No, OND will not do, you need a HND.
For the application proper, it is always important to go through the website of the schools you want to apply to, you'll get a lot of information form there concerning how to apply. Some schools do only online applications, some requires that you send your application documents to them by post after applying online, some you send your documents as pdf to their email address and then you get the uni assist crew. Like I said earlier, it is important to go visit and read the websites.
When you get your admission letter, open a block account immediately(that is if you don't already have a sponsorship letter) and as soon as you get your account details, send an email to the embassy requesting for a visa interview date. You need these to get an interview date: 1. Admission letter 2. Block account/sponsorship letter/scholarship letter 3. International passport data page(scanned) Then your Full name and Resident address.
Prepare for your interview Go for your interview . Thanks for these info. Please how do I transfer money to my fintiba block account? I have created the account and I have all the accounts details. Pls help a brother |
