Senior Pastor of Full Life Christian Center reportedly survived a ghastly car accident in the city of Uyo, Akwa ibom State Nigeria.

The Reverend Ntia I. Ntia was involved in a drastic motor accident earlier today in Uyo.

The collision involving two vehicles happened on the March 6, 2021 at about some minutes to 11am at IBB Road in Uyo, the state capital, opposite the small gate of the Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat. This collision was between an ashed coloured Lexus jeep and a red Murano.

This event took place after the one hour victory praise session and neighborhood evangelism that he hosted at his church which is also the 6th day of their 7 days fasting.

And to the God be the glory, the 48-year-old Pastor, Ntia came out unhurt and healthy despite the fact that the car capsized and was rushed to the hospital.

I remember that shirt. Bought it okrika. That is, second hand. We use to call it bend down/select. Yaba Market those days � Ministering as a guest at a church , The New Testament Assembly Alagomeji, Yaba Lagos. Was taken there by the esteemed Minister Paul Tao @taoelshaddai one of the very few who discovered the diamond in the rough and encouraged me.
This God has kept me all these years. Even when I knew very little of Him. And still learning of Him.

I remember being offered a contract to take Jesus out of a song in 2008, It was to be a foreign deal. But He gave me strength to turn it down. Saying I’d rather go hungry than take HIM out.

He is my LIFE. And by His Grace, I make a vow to serve non other, blow for non other, no matter the amount of money involved, until that final day, In Jesus’ name.

The 4th and 5th combined convocation ceremony of Akwa Ibom State University held on the 8th of November, 2019 at the University main campus.

The event started with an opening prayer followed by the National and School Anthem respectively after which the registrar called the Chancellor of the university to declare open the assembly as enshrined in section 4.1 of the varsity law 2009, which the Chancellor did.
After the declaration, the registrar called on the school Orator, Prof. Oto Abasi Denis to present the Chancellor for the conferment of Honourary Doctorate Degree as approved by the university Senate. The university Orator presented the Chancellor and read through his citation and thereafter was awarded the Doctorate Degree accordingly.

The chancellor of the varsity, His eminence Dr. Nteyim Etuk, JP, in his address, stressed the that the convocation of the varsity is a dream come true; a moment of celebration for the university especially the graduands and their Parents/guardians as well as the Government and the public.

The chancellor also pointed out that the 4th and 5th combined convocation of the varsity is his first participation after his official installation as the Chancellor of the varsity which took place on October 31 2019.

He made it known that the successful journey of the varsity is credited to the consistent commitment of the state government which has brought tremendous benefits to the people, state and the nation as whole by offering more opportunities to the people to be educated and at the same time generate employment opportunities and create landmark development within its operational bases in Mkpat Enin and Oruk Anam LGA where the two campus are located.

He went further to commend the Vice Chancellor stating that his leadership and commitment has made Aksu a great institution and without sycophancy, he described Prof. Eno Ibanga as a diligent administrator whose leadership has ensured the successful accreditation of several undergraduate programmes by NUC and the building of several new structures across the varsity this he said has paved way forthe commencement of Post graduate programmes and collaboration with sister varsities, institutions and bodies towards the success story of AKSU.

He charged all the graduands to be good ambassador of AKSU and fly high as eagles.

Up next was the address by the Pro-Chancellor/Chairman of Governing Council, Engr. Samuel Inyang OON,TMA. He started by appreciating God for the ceremony as well as the visitor to the university and the management team led by Prof. Eno Ibanga, staff and students for their cooperation in ensuring that the mission of the varsity.
He went further to point out that the school despite its tremendous achievement however still trails from the rare in terms of development, pointing out 9 areas which needs urgent action for its development amongst which are:
1.Construction of main Entrance Complex
2. Opening of access road to and within the permanent site
3. Water works and reticulation at the permanent site
4. Extension and boosting of power supply at the permanent site
5. Construction of a varsity auditorium, senate building and faculty building
6. Construction of lecture theaters and library building
7. Construction of sports/ recreation centre
8. Completion of students hostel/ building new ones
Central sewage system, as well as an integrated waste management system, and many more so as to help compete with it contemporaries.

Next was the address of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eno J. Ibanga FNIP.
After acknowledging protocol, He made known to the assembly that graduation ceremony is one of the most significant events in the calendar of any varsity.

He said:

“It is a culmination of years of diligent hard work by the graduands, parents, sponsors and staff of the varsity. For the graduands journey started with the writing of utme through post-utme screening, days, weeks, semesters and sessions of stress and anxiety, sacrifices and the proverbial burning of the midnight oil to reach this point of graduation”.

According to him, the 4th and 5th combined convocation marks the Third convocation under his tenure as vice chancellor of the varsity and that since his assumption of office, the varsity narratives have been changed to actualizing it core values of accountability, transparency, etc, which he said have been the fuel of the system and the results have translated into excellent level of growth to the extent that when compared with his peers, Akwa Ibom State University towers above all and is on the threshold of a world class university. He did justice to point out his areas of achievement to include, inter alia, student enrolment and welfare, staff strengths and their academic development and welfare, academic programmes, accreditation, infrastructural renaissance and community relation.

Akwa Ibom State University has collaboration, linkages and partnership with the following institutions and corporate bodies:

1.University of Innsbruck, Austria
2.University of Bradford, United Kingdom
3.Temple University, United States Of America
4.Harvest –plus and International on Biofortification of crops
5.CEMOUA on cassava production (Outgrowths scheme)
6.Chinese Academy of Science in the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Guangdong, China; he added.
He further informed the university and the assembly that the 4th and 5th combined convocation is for students who completed their academic programmes in the 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 academic year.

A total of 920 graduands completed their academic programmes in the 2016/2017 academic year with the break down below;

For the 2017/2018, a total of 1080 graduands completed their academic programmes thus;

The best graduating student for the 2016/2017 academic year was Mr. Utibe Mfon Okon of the department of Animal Science with a CGPA of 4.88 while the best graduating student for the 2017/2018 academic year was Mr. Victor Effiong Odokwo of the department of Marine Engineering with a CGPA of 4.89. In all a total of 2000 graduands convoked with 41 emerging as first class graduates. He added that the school alumni has already being established, stressing that all convocking students should register as the varsity is looking up to them for the development of their Alma Mater.

Furthermore, he informed the assembly that in consonant with the extant law of the varsity, the honorary Doctorate Degree of Letters was conferred on the chancellor his Eminence, Nteyin Solomon Etuk, JP (Honoris Causa).

Also on the movement to the core region of the university main campus, the vice chancellor said that progress are on ground for it completion.
The Registrar in turn asked the Respective Faculty Deans to present their Convocking students for the Chancellor to admit them fully to the class of scholars and this was carried out simultaneously

Reacting to their convocation, some of the graduands interviewed by the university e-Team, expressed excitement on the successful completion of their academic programmes at the stipulated time and as well convocate without delay.

The Visitor to the University and governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel in his remarks appreciated the Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for the developmental strides recorded so far in the varsity, he further charged the convocking students to be great ambassadors of the varsity and should therefore let the light of the knowledge they have acquired brighten thier path as they navigate thier way around career paths and service to humanity.

The 4th and 5th combined Convocation came to a close at about 2:45pm with a closing prayer followed by the National and School Anthem respectively and thereafter the Senate procession in reverse order.

In other words, be all out for the Gospel as though it depended on you alone to reach the whole world. That’s the right attitude you must-have for the Gospel.

Review and increase your commitment to the Gospel; and as you increase your commitment, the Lord will grant you more grace for greater effectiveness and capacity to win more souls to Christ. Hallelujah!

Arise and let the world know that you serve the Mighty God. The time to use our God advantage is now. We must begin to strategize on how to proffer solutions to our world. Many will kiss the lips of he who has the right answer. Beloved, it does not matter whether they like your face or not. The truth is that many will surely kiss your lips if you have the right answer.

This generation is waiting for you. And I have an assurance that whatsoever you lay your hands to do shall prosper. I can already sense that there’s a shift in the realm of the Spirit, God will do for you that which He only can do. I prophesy that the grace of God will set you on high and deliver to you much more than you could ever imagine. You will not be denied. This is the time and season for your lifting. A Heartbreak can become one of the most powerful forces of change in your life. I got a call from my ex saying “This Thing is over.” Now this was tough. Especially coming from someone I thought could worship the very ground I walk on. At least so I thought. I never felt a pain that sore in my whole life. I mean, I’ve lost some loved ones, but this pain was in a class of its own. All efforts to get her to talk failed. So I prayed, and was convinced I had to move on.So I went through the following process.

1. I made sure I experienced healing in GOD’s presence. You see, many times people don’t get healed before they jump into another relationship. I made up my mind not to use someone as my temporal pain reliever. So I spent time Worshipping, and just shedding the tears before my Father in heaven. Then I was led to listen to some sermons which spoke to my situation. This process led to the next.

2. The more I spent time with God, The easier it was to FORGIVE! People! You’ve got to FOOOOORRRRGIVE. This isn’t just for your “heartbreaker.” It’s more for YOU! You will definitely hurt someone if you jump into another relationship without experiencing and giving forgiveness.

3. Get lost in GOD. In fellowship and His Service. Make the Holy Spirit your lover, friend and companion. Let Him shed His love abroad in your heart. Serve God. Get busy for God that you can’t even remember anything RELATIONSHIP (with the opposite sex ), of course until God says it’s time.

4. Then as you begin to sense God stirring your heart in the direction of a relationship, do an objective appraisal of your life. I said to my self, “Nath? Sentiments apart, the way your life was, would you marry YOU? It’s very easy to get upset and bitter when such happens, but we never really sit down to ask ourselves why? I began to see areas of my life that needed upgrades, spiritual, physical, personal development, ministry, character and overall vision as a young man.

5. I wish I can shout � this from a roof top. PLS DON’T TRY TO PROVE ANY POINT TO YOUR EX. If you have thoroughly gone through levels 1-4, The Holy Spirit would have done so much work of transformation within you. And while in the stage of appraising your life and ready to make adjustments and upgrades, it would never be to prove a point to your ex or people. Many have made hasty decisions in the flesh including making bad marriage choices, career, business, relocation choices etc all because they wanted to prove they too can “marry” and be successful. If you truly yield to God’s work, you will come out with one attitude —— , GRATITUDE! And like David say, it was good that I suffered...” Psalm 119:71.

6. This is important... So you can move on and begin a fresh start, BREAK TIES and contact with the Ex, if possible. This is not malice. But this is perhaps for the time being so you can really put closure on things. A time will come when you are able to relate without any sort of attachments and emotional ties. Many wonder why they can’t seem to move on, and when you look, you find certain connections still active. Messaging on social media etc.

7. When you begin sensing a leading into another relationship this is what you should do, PRAY. When you meet someone and begin having feelings for them, that is not a green light for another relationship. That feeling says to you IT’S TIME TO PRAY. Remember feelings are also internal chemical reactions. And Trust me, if you went through what I went through, you don’t ever want to enter casually next time�.

8. And when you meet that right person, and see what you went through and what God has done, you’d give him a praise break���. You also won’t compare this new person with the other. Because you have been HEALED, FREE & GROWN. And if the heartbreak was a terrible one, the kind that could be described as evil done you, you would come out feeling Compassion for the other person, rather than Bitterness.And just to add, one way to forgive also, is PRAYING for the other person. It’s tough, but a mystery that works miracles.Hope this blessed you ��

What To Do When You Are Under Attack As A Christian

The Safety of the Faithful ~ God Hears our Prayers

1. Give ear to my words, O Lord,
consider my sighing.

2. Listen to my cry for help,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.

3. In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice;
in the morning I lay my requests before you
and wait in expectation.

4. You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil;
with you the wicked cannot dwell.

5. The arrogant cannot stand in your presence;
you hate all who do wrong.

6. You destroy those who tell lies;
bloodthirsty and deceitful men
the Lord abhors.

7. But I, by your great mercy,
will come into your house;
in reverence will I bow down
toward your holy temple.

8. Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness
because of my enemies—
make straight your way before me.

9. Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
their heart is filled with destruction.
Their throat is an open grave;
with their tongue they speak deceit.

10. Declare them guilty, O God!

What would any of us do if we were under some kind of attack? It could be spiritual or physical in nature.
Even though David was God’s anointed king, he was constantly under someones fire! If you love the Lord and serve Him in any capacity, you will be criticized or attacked for it. The devil will constantly try to attack where we are weak and tear us down. Count on it! Today religious persecution can be seen just about anywhere.
What did David do? In a nutshell, he used his trials to draw near to the Lord. This is what is meant by “David, a man after God’s own heart.” He would always seek the Lord and draw near to him for his reassurance, peace and comfort. Trying to defend yourself or fighting your own battles rarely works in the end. When you’re under attack, take refuge in the Lord as your righteous defender. In this psalm,

- David appealed to God as his righteous Judge

- David reverently draws near to God by His grace

- David exhorts everyone to take refuge in God - to rejoice in Him because of His gracious blessings

When you’re under attack, take refuge in the Lord through prayer (5:1-3)

The normal response is to fight back. We usually are thinking of ways to get back and revenge our enemies. David didn't do that. He took his complaints to the Lord in honest, personal, heartfelt prayer.
“Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my groaning, heed the sound of my cry for help,”
The word “groaning” means silent or barely audible sounds. David was calling out to God honestly in his pain. God knows everything about us anyway, its ridiculous to hide our feelings from Him. He is our King and the Lord of our life. It is equally important to be submissive be Him and be willing to do His will. You must know Him as your Lord and Savior, who invites you to come into His presence through the blood of Jesus.
The psalm tells us David prayed “in the morning.” Our first thoughts and what we do with them tell a lot about where our heart really is. Is it negative or positive? Do we give our day first thing to the Lord? Or start thinking about our problems and what the day may bring. David’s first thought on waking was about the threats of his enemies. So he immediately turned those thoughts into prayer. Whatever trials God sends into our lives are cause to turn to Him in honest, personal, persistent prayer. Charles Spurgeon said “Prayer should be the key of the day and the lock of the night.”

When you’re under attack, appeal to God as the righteous Judge (5:4-6)

David’s faith in God is proven by God’s faithfulness towards him, always preserving him and guiding his footsteps. God, who is righteous, will act on our behalf when we call to him in believing prayer.
When you’re under attack, reverently draw near to God by His grace (5:7)
As David thought about God’s hatred of sin and His holiness, he realized he could never approach God on the basis of his own righteousness. The only way he could enter was by His abundant loving kindness. The Hebrew word translated “lovingkindness” is the Old Testament word for “grace.” Wicked people hate God--where there will be little supply of “the riches of His grace” Ephesians 1:7. The only way that anyone can draw near to God is through His abundant grace as shown to us in Christ.

When you’re under attack, take joyous refuge in God as your defender (5:11-12)

David broadens the application from himself to all of God’s people who may be under any kind of attack:
“But let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy; and may You shelter them, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O Lord, You surround him with favor as with a shield.”

As John Piper says, “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.” Each part of this psalm emphasizes these truths: when you’re under attack, take refuge in the Lord through prayer, appeal to Him as the righteous Judge, and draw near to Him by His grace, rejoicing in Him as your defender.
